How did you get the nose to be transparent? I subbed the sphere and transferred it to another build, but it just looks like a regular part, even in the level. @jamesPLANESii
Very nice! Highly detailed yet very functional and useable. Flying about is a blast and just watching the folding mechanism makes me happy! The floppy blades are nice too! Only little issue is that it can fly without the rotors spinning. I’m no heli expert but I don’t think that’s how it works RL lol
Interesting info. Now that I stop and think about it, those are very valid points. Seeing that reference photo, I now realize that I made the paint too glossy. I will take this knowledge into my next plane @BogdanX @F104Deathtrap
Sounds good. Idk how you plan on doing the inlet, but I would recommend using the hollow fuselages and making them 0.05 or less in length and use a few to create a nice and smooth finish @KLM_747
A few minor things I would fix though:
- Landing gear wobbles when retracted. This can be fixed by increasing the mass scale on the rotators and well as the other fuselages attached. (ex. wing, rotator, and main strut, not just the rotator)
- Landing gear could use some smoothing out, especially near the wing vein its attached to and the base structure with the wheels
- The black ovals under the wing seem a bit to thick, I would thin it down to 15%
- Engine could be refined, most notably the intake and exhaust. Because of the way you built the intake, it causes weird reflections and sharp angles. The real exhaust has a constant taper, where yours has a bowing shape (idk how to explain it)
- Theres a little surface fighting near the underside wingtip. To fix that nudge one of the parts up/down 0.000488. It might cause a little bump, but that is far less noticeable than the fighting.
- Some rotators are visible from the outside. For example, there's one on the right of the second wing vein, and a white one coming from the bottom of the LG.
I don't mean to sound critical, I'm really not trying too. These are just some suggestions. If you would like, I'd be happy to help address some of these things. It might help push that part count a little higher wink wink. We can further communicate on an unlisted post if thats easier for you
This is fantastic! I love the attention to detail, especially all the equipment in the back and the computer in the front. I can't wait to see what you have in store next!
Nicely done! The small details are a nice touch, and the livery is very cool! Only thing I would say is to be mindful of the scale. In reality, this plane has a 30ft wingspan, yet this has 50ft. Not that big of an issue, it just feels a little big. Other than that though, you did an outstanding job
Oh. I tested the Stuka on the ground and saw that only the tabs moved, not the elevator nor a combination of both. Again my bad. Also thanks, I really appreciate that @BogdanX
Thanks for your feedback. As for spawning, that has to do with the altimeter and air speed indicator suddenly catching up. As for the trim tabs, I remember asking you how they worked, to which you said they functioned the same way on your Stuka. Thus I copied that. However I do agree with your other points, I should have spent more time fixing those little things @BogdanX
That is true. What I found works well is adding mass to the rotator, as well as the part its connected too (the non rotating part) and set everything that is being rotated to 0 mass. Though this isn't always applicable @asteroidbook345
Hey, do you mind if I borrow the part of the livery in front of the canopy? I'm making an F-4J Phantom in a Blue Angels livery and this is the best one I could find
Awesome job! I think this is one of your most detailed planes lol. Only thing I would recommend is to add some shiny-ness to the paint, especially the canopy.
No what I'm saying is that once I fire all of a weapon (one on each side of fuselage), say the AIM7, it rolls despite the fact its balanced on both sides @ChiChiWerx
I noticed a slight issue when firing the missiles I built, @ChiChiWerx . Whenever I fire some of the weapons, but not all, there becomes an autoroll. Idk how to fix this
The F-4C phantom. The best I could find were max ranges and speeds, but apart from that nothing. If we can’t find more than that, it’s not that much of an issue. I’ll just make the missile’s performance plausible @ChiChiWerx
Sorry to bother you, but I need some help on the AIM-9B and AIM-7D missiles. More specifically, the max and min range and lock time, as well as the maneuverability of both

Great job once again! Very smooth flying characteristics, plus the paint scheme is super interesting
Nicely done! Shape is spot on and the whole thing looks very accurate. The bombs are nice too!
Sweet! Very smooth and elegant design!
Cool!
Yep I agree @F104Deathtrap
Oh ok. Anyway it looks great, and visually speaking the custom rotors look much better than stock

No problem! @ThePropellerIsAFan
Great work! I love the balance between simplicity and looks. Landing gear is also very nice
Awesome! I bet these take a lot of work, but maybe JFK airport next?
Awesome, I have no other words. You nailed every singe detail and really went above and beyond. Bravo!

Nice airliner!
Absolutely amazing! Looks better than real life lol. This is what the stock islands should look like tbh
Lookin great! Tail detail is amazing, I can’t wait to see what you do with the rest of the heli

Nice job!
Great job! I love the details and the ordinance; this really packs a punch!
Oh ok, that’s understandable @Hedero
Sounds good! I look forward to trying them out lol @TheSavageManZ
Awesome job! The attention to detail is amazing

Very cool! It looks like someone bumped the nose against a wall lol
Great job as always!
Neat!

Nice! The gear is very smooth, and the cockpit adds a nice touch. Its a little too maneuverable at high speeds, but other than that its a great plane!

Id say 5 or 6. 5 gives off a vintage/aged look, but 6 give a feeling of high performance.
I didn't notice anything, I think it looks pretty nice. @Hedero
Its been quite a while since I've seen one of these, especially one this good! IMO this is the best P-40 on the site
I can’t remember if I suggested this to you or your brother before, but maybe the XF-12 Rainbow? If not that, then maybe a B-25 @Diloph
Awesome job my dude! Seeing a modern jet from you is certainly a pleasant surprise!
Very cool! A little sensitive on the pitch axis, but overall you did a great job
No problem! It’s all about finding the right mix of contrast and visual appearances
Awesome job! I think this is one of your most detailed planes lol. Only thing I would recommend is to add some shiny-ness to the paint, especially the canopy.
It doesn't seem to be doing it now, I think it was just a glitch @ChiChiWerx
No what I'm saying is that once I fire all of a weapon (one on each side of fuselage), say the AIM7, it rolls despite the fact its balanced on both sides @ChiChiWerx

Thank you! The SimpleCheats page isn't up to date lol @BogdanX
Sorry to bother you, but do you have any idea? @BogdanX

I would have to say the bad guys. Just the dark color tones and the fact looks a little like a tie fighter@SledDriver
