DESCRIPTION:

The Ainoer AR70 is a wide-body airliner developed and manufactured by Ainoer Aerospace Inc, the civilian aerospace division of the Erichian Amalgamated Companies Corporation (EACC). The AR70 was designed to bridge the gap between Ainoer's AR50 (Tu-204’s license-built from Tupolev) and the AR40. Developed in consultation with two major Erichian airlines, with a first meeting in February 2019, the program was launched on October 2019 with a first order from Erichian Airlines. The prototype was rolled out on December 2020, and first flew on June 12, 2021. The AR70 first entered commercial service with Erichian Airlines on June 7, 2021. Longer range variants are still under development.

It is the largest twinjet made by Ainoer as well as in the Erichian Socialist Republic (ESR) and has a typical 3-class capacity of 301 to 368 passengers, with a range of 5,240 to 8,555 nautical miles (9,700 to 15,840 km). It is recognizable for its large-diameter turbofan engines, four wheels on each main landing gear, and a slightly circular fuselage cross-section. It has fly-by-wire controls similar to the AR10.

The AR70 is offered with only one engine choice; a Drashu X34-100. The planned longer range AR70-200 with a MTOW of 766,000–775,000 lb (347–352 t) is slated to enter service in 2024.
