@Lahoski107 The service provider script (which you can generate by navigating to it under the simpleplanes tab), provides you with a lot of information about the game's state. For example, it allows you to obtain data about the aircraft the player is currently controlling. Once generated, you can access the players position by using this specific line of code: ServiceProvider.Instance.PlayerAircraft.MainCockpitPosition.
Then you just Debug.Log it and it shows up in the dev console.
@KingHandspider Depends largely on your framerate and physics settings. But you are correct things like that will probably happen, but that just means more of a challenge for drivers. In air races collisions will be much rarer though.
@Lahoski107 Strange, maybe there exists some unwanted data in the mod builder window scene assets? If not I guess you could write a script to log your position to the developer console with the press of a button, then use that for the cover-up island.
@DeezDucks The regulations will be rather simple so that people new to this sort of stuff can understand (think minimum weight, max dimensions, horsepower etc), but still consistent and powerful. And yes a default chassis won't be provided so players design their own.
@Minecraftpoweer I have already registered an argument parser together with a command using the service provider. I managed to succesfully call a command(with no arguments) from within the game. But when I try specifying an argument, the dev console doesn't recognize it. I just don't understand how the argument parser works. Like is there a value that can be retrieved from it at runtime? If so, how?
@BlackhattAircraft What happened tho... was it a stall?
That's terrible..
@robloxweponco
@Zoomzoom999
@marcox43
The heat distortion is a nice touch.
+2Dis one?
+1P - 5 1 M U S T A N G
+1@robloxweponco There is?
And can you submit multiple entries?
+1Can I XML mod decorations like decals to have 0 drag/mass?
@robloxweponco Gold prix
@Zoomzoom999 Yes
@CRJ900Pilot Thanks

@ThePilotDude That was done to make them clearly visible at night. The finish flag shouldn't do that though
You need to find a shader that supports fog, and use that for your materials. I think the unity Standard shader should work.
+1@MOPCKOEDNISHE That may help with performance but it doesn't solve the problem. It will still ignore fog.
+1May I ask, is there a specific reason it doesn't work on android? Just curious
+1It definitely has to do with the shader you're using, I don't think it supports fog.
+1@LancasterAce Nice, I'll let you know when a race is planned
@KingHandspider I can't be 100% sure. But the races are merely for fun and there is no prize so cheating would be kind of pointless.
@marcox43 Sure, as long as long as you don't use the given parts for something other than landing gear it's fine!
@marcox43 It's done, I added the link to the provided subassemblies.
@marcox43 I'm working on it right now, I'll tag you when it's done
@TheEpicMOONHAWK Nope
@Chancey21 @Brields95
@marcox43 @LancasterAce @DeezDucks Updated post with racing classes
@Mumpsy Thx man
@marcox43 Agreed. I hadn't thought of the teleport issue, I guess what I can do is make sure all players are aware of it before the race.
@Lahoski107 In SP, you will have to open the dev console(`) at least once for it to start recording Debug.Log calls.

@Lahoski107 Do you have any experience with scripting using the SP services?

"Bug" Hahaha
+2@LancasterAce What exactly do you mean by target shooting?

For the runways in the distance, if they are stationary and you can't get rid of them, you could try covering them up with another maywar-style island
@DeezDucks There will be several different classes though, some with looser regulations allowing more creative designs.

Fantastic build once again
+2@Sqwuilex ok?
@dunodisko12 The need for speed is strong on this one
@BlackhattAircraft @jamesPLANESii Ah I see, I'll try some other time I guess. Is there any other servers out there though? I play on 157.7.205.136
Please never stop with these uploads

@AndrewGarrison Do you have any idea how to do this? Any help would be very appreciated
Saw this on the server, looks awesome.
@Lahoski107 Did you remove the directional light? If yes, Maybe it still exists under the map plugins dropdown in the inspector.
@SakuraSaku @Diloph Thx :)
