LNTRODUCTION:
B-2 bomber (English: B-2 Stealth and Strategic Bomber, nickname: Spirit, translation: Ghost, generic: Northrop Grumman B-2 stealth strategic bomber), is by Northrop Grumman And the Boeing Company, a low-detection flying-wing bomber developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the US Air Force to perform strategic nuclear/conventional strike missions.
The B-2 bomber is the only stealth strategic bomber in the world today. The most important feature is low detectability, commonly known as stealth capability. It can make it safe to attack through a tight air defense system.
CHARACTERISTICS:
The B-2 bomber's stealth performance is comparable to that of a small F-117 attack aircraft, but its combat capability is similar to that of a large B-1B bomber. In 1997, the first six B-2 bombers were officially in service, producing a total of only 21. Each B-2 is priced at $2.4 billion. If it is by weight, the weight of the B-2 is two to three times more expensive than the gold at the time of service.
