What is your dream car?

2,371 Ashdenpaw1  11 months ago

What car would you get if you didn't have to pay for maintenance or the cost of buying?
It's fine to choose a cliché option.

and if you had to pay for cost and maintenance, THEN what would you get?

I'd honestly love an NYPD or Minnesota State Patrol 90s Ford LTD

@MonsNotTheMonster actually, we already have a car called "Picanto", but it's a 15 year old car. not the brand new one..💀💀 not sure which generation is it, but i definitely heard that the picanto we got at home is from 2010. this car is only just 6 years younger than me. ☠️

Literally the R31 Skyline. Specifically the GTS-R trim. Not a GTR Skyline, since that family line is different. Matter of fact, I made one in sp from scratch. Should I release it tho?

Unrealistically: 1963 Chrysler Turbine Car. Inefficient & maintenance nightmare? Absolutely. It's all about the statement (plus cool noise).
Realistically: Honestly I'm just looking out for a basic single-cab Tacoma or comparable vehicle.
I'm a small dude, I need a relatively small truck. One that's reliable.
I currently have a Ford Ranger, and it's seen better days to say the least. The instrumentation is busted, some of the electricals are fried, power steering sounds questionable at best. It's a mess.
I'm not very fancy in the way of cars/trucks. Pretty much as long as it can get me from point A to B, works all-around, and is manageably small, I like it.

No one is going to be surprised with this, 2001 Chevy monte carlo ss NASCAR, preferably a superspeedway car with the stupid looking forhead lip spoiler. Dale Jr's 2001 fall Daytona car would be the dream I think. I got the diecast for it even.

I currently own one that doesn't work properly 😅
If I had the money and resources, I'd also swap a 2.5 TFSI into it and 4WD with adjustable distribution, and a manual. I'll probably end up doing that some point down the line lol

Dream car? Second-gen Pontiac Firebird, hands down. I'm more partial to the '70-'73 (and of course the '77-'78) in terms of aesthetics, but honestly I'd go for any model year.

Realistically? Something that won't break on me, has a CD player instead of a touchscreen, and isn't a coupe or small sedan. (I don't have anything against them, but I am a few inches taller than average... also, cargo space is nice.) Not sure what that'll be yet, though.
