[Monarchii War] Week 2: Peace and Death

Monarchii War, Week 2!

From now, we'll be doing these by the week instead of day. Preferably Fridays, to cover all that happened in the preceding week.
A little different, but yours truly is unbiased as always.

This week was frankly quite uneventful- at first at least. This would be the result of the recently ended ceasefire treaty, which prohibited all lawful military factions from carrying out any missions that did not directly pertain to the welfare of Snowstone's citizens. Now, after about a week of rest, both sides have come back rested, ready, and armed. That is, until Snowstone signed an official peace treaty that ended its use as a battle zone. Snowstone now remains a civil area, and war machines from both factions have left for their homebases. However, this certainly didn't stop the MGLA from throwing in a few punches just before the treaty was established, in which case they respectfully agreed to retreat forces from the Tundra Island.

A Monarchii T59A1 that "defected" to fight for the people of Snowstone, the tank is currently serving as a defensive measure should any rulebreakers try to step foot on Snowstone

A T59A3 still fighting for Monarchii fires its main gun

An M49A4 attempts to use its electronic warfare devices, the only issue being they work on the Shock MBT too, causing a comical tank pileup

The AMX-10M watches its first victory play out

Le Tonk drives around at Snowstone, mentally preparing to return to Yeager after almost two weeks of being at Snowstone

A Plopter returns to Wright safely

An SK-3 rests on the runway, after nearly two whole weeks of service

However, with one threat dying, three more arise. Starting with what may be the most immediate one, the rebelled MGLA vehicles. A small group of MGLA vehicles, said to be led by the Flying T-34, struck several targets, both for The Monarchii and the MGLA throughout the past two days. The results have been devastating, destroying several tanks and aircraft, and surprisingly seeing three A-40Bs "shot down." However, the MGLA denied that they had lost any A-40Bs, claiming that one had lost its tail and wing, one had been only minorly damaged in combat, and suffered most damage when its landing gear failed to deploy, resulting in its remaining payload detonating, and one had only suffered minor damages to its fuel tank while the remainder of the plane was intact. These results were confirmed, but later investigation revealed that the third plane had actually lost all roll and rudder control as well. However, the rebel vehicles, now known as "NeMaR," or just "NMR" sometimes, weren't entirely wrong: due to the hostility and damaged dealt by the NMR aircraft, the A-40Bs were forced to pull emergency landings following their damages, making it seem as if these Havoc IIs, were in fact, shot down. The Havocs weren't the only victims though, NMR has claimed and confirmed the deaths of 4 IS-3s, 6 M49A4s, 1 M49A3, 12 MiG-125s, 4 Tu-22Ms, 5 Thairung Humvees, 8 F/A-32 Strikers, and an astounding 34 AH-25 attack helicopters, while confirming non-critical/fatal damage against other targets, namely several Monarchii warships, including the Yamato battleship (in this case specifically, non-critical damage means about two bullets), 3 PF-19s, although one supposedly crashed sometime after the engagement, 5 F-11Y1 fighters, 7 Enargite VIIs, two MGLA vessels, and the Lagwing supercarrier.

Le Tonk fires a flurry of flares to evade an F-11Y3, surprised that he's now under attack from one of his former allies. If you look VERY closely at the picture, towards the top, straight up from Le Tonk, in one of the flare glows, you'll see the greenish-blue lights of the Draconian in the distance

A Monarchii Tu-22M under fire from the Flying T-34, the plane was downed but thankfully the entire crew was able to escape the attack with their lives, and miraculously evaded MGLA capture as well

Ditto, but this time you can catch a glimpse of the other two Tu-22Ms running for their lives. Yes, all the Tu-22M pictures shown today are the exact same planes, including the ones in the previous section. For some reason, the T-34 chose not to attack the other two, allowing them to retreat unscathed. Perhaps she just wanted someone to tell the story?

A-40B 83013 fights against the Flying T-34

A surprise on two fronts, the first being that the A-40B managed to defeat the Flying T-34, but the second being that she was able to withstand a shot from the A-40B without dying, something tells me that we should start taking NMR more seriously...

A-40B 83025 fires its flak guns at the NMR enemies, successfully downing 2 F-11Y3, before swiftly finishing off a Monarchii MiG-125 as well

Now we turn our attention to Krakabloa. Preceding a recent storm, the MGLA allegedly was testing two new fighters there, namely the long awaited F/A-32A Striker Revamp, and the out-of-the-blue Intimidator fighter, designed to be the "non-op version of the A-40B." The two aircraft flexed their strength for non-public cameras and allowed us to give you these images.

The F/A-32A dives under a bridge, notice how this one is green however instead of the Sgt. Mugus Tribute Red.

Another picture of the Striker taken shortly afterwards.

The Intimidator showcases both agility and pilot skill as it flies in the Yeager Bridge, rumor has it that the pilot of this Intimidator is the same pilot of A-40B 83013.

The Intimidator safely pulls out of the bridge moments later.

Now armed with missiles, the Intimidator shows off its ability to climb a straight vertical without stalling

However, along with this great news for the MGLA, they have also suffered a great tragedy. A storm arrived late on Friday, in which several Skypark City aircraft attacked Yeager Base, causing massive materiel and personnel damage. The MGLA refused to release official numbers, but a spokesperson for the MGLA stated that "our losses, albeit devastating, are not debilitating, and we will respond to this threat with force." This statement would soon be put to reality, as two A-40Bs, which were actually the only intact A-40Bs at the time we made this, those two would be 83013 and 83018, were sent to assault Spypark City, causing massive damage in a matter of hours. The MGLA also unveiled a strange new aircraft, that despite its appearance, allegedly has lethal tricks up its sleeves, according to TUPL, its designer. Little more is known about this secondary conflict, but between the preexisting war between the Monarchii and the MGLA, the Skypark City Military, the NMR, and Cobrastan (who has gone unmentioned for today), escalation is near and inevitable.

A new MGLA warship arrives at the coastal sector of Yeager Base

One of the A-40Bs decides to do a double flex, doing a combat takeoff with max payload on its way to retaliate against Skypark

Ditto, successful vertical takeoff

The alleged "super weapon" unleashes a frenzy of bombs onto Skypark

That's today's news! Stay safe everyone, and check back for next week's details!

    OFFICIAL TUPL MESSAGE:
"I was going to retire, but no one attacks my homebase, especially not while my planes are in it. This atrocity to the MGLA was singlehandedly enough to drive me out of retirement. War is on. I'm coming for you. All of you.

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover They are... something.
    They're a NAFO stronghold that's for sure.
They had to lock to sub to make sure people didn't make No Russian jokes after the Moscow shooting. Probably a tiny minority, but considering how they talk about Russians...

    r/NonCredibleDefense.
    Three warnings:
1: Planefuckers. Sometimes NSFW, I hate that part of it.
2: VERY anti-communist, seem to tie it exclusively to the USSR and (stupidly) Russia. Not quite sure what they are exactly in the political sense. I think, granted take this with salt as I cannot well-define both these terms, they are neoliberal and neoconservative.
3: They will infect you. I don't agree with their politics or their constant horniness, but I very frequently describe wacky military shit as noncredible. 3000 brainrot terms of NCD.

    Single eh?
Good. Virginity is cool, remain pure.
Anyways, Soviet wartime production quality tends to do that to a vehicle.

    No, you didn't.
Corporate wants you to find the difference between this picture and this picture.
The first is a Tu-22. What you named.
The second is a Tu-22M, what is actually in the picture.
This is extremely petty and I have choses to be an enormous dong about it.
    You're welcome :)
