Some creators in SimplePlanes have "companies". What are they? How do they work? (Answered - no need to comment anymore.)

@Oramamonvehicles "Companies" in this website are probably a few people who share one account. That means the owner shares the password with members in an unlisted plane for private reasons.

I used to have two automotive companies
    1.Kingsman
    2.Saturnite[No longer in use]

For me when I make a vehicle i dont want to publish it as [generic name]
So I and other people make fictional companies like Kingsman,Lykins,NoGo etc.

@SyntheticL i use it for both RP and marketing, RP because i do have my own story in Wattpad with a collab from another people (which did not play SP), and marketing because... Well marketing my builds

    Companies.... has two meanings.
The first means a group of player making crafts with the name of their group. Like I'm in the Horizon group.
The second mean is mostly for RP use... I have even created a world like what @WarshipWarshipTheDude said and.. yeah, lotta companies in that world. C'est my currently company below
Indoustrelle Natcionalle de Succlande (which is a Nicroian national industrial complex includes both civilian and miltary products.)
*Nicroian refeers to The United Federation of Nicro which is a fictional Nation on a fictional planet in a fictional universe.
Your name is Oramamonvehicles and most of your crafts has a tag of O-corp thing or Oramamon things. That is a company.

So, companies, its for roleplaying purposes, some not only have companies, some even have or created a country (me for example, Navy Republic Of Trislandia) with their own island or territory or just grab a real life land, usually its just for marketing (yes, you essentially "marketing" your creation as a product) purposes, afterall, it makes it a bit more interesting, company member is a member of said companies, for example, im a member of Feta Corp which is another company that was created by another people, this is all of my company (currently)

    •Trislandia Aerospace (For Planes)
•Trislandia Werften und Marinestützpunkt (For Ships, and yes that is german)
•Universe Car Automotive Development or UCAD (For Cars)

DS.Enterprise, U.Corp and V.Corp is the former company and self of me

Mine has no name. But what I do with it is uploading mostly military aircraft using 22nd century technologies and beyond.
and even use technologies that cannot even exist by normal standards: for example, various exotic materials like type 2 carbex, a material that weighs 50x less than Styrofoam but is 5000x stronger than diamond.
But on top of aircraft and materials, i have also made a small handful of firearms (like only 2): an anti personnel rifle named "RL-1", and a monster of a shotgun that can even take out some tanks, this weapon named "SGL-1".

I mean it's hard to explain, so giving my creations a try should help.

@Oramamonvehicles Groups are just that, groups of builders building under one name, nothing much going on usually, except for perhaps a dedicated discord server. You can take it as far as you wish. The definition of "company" is a loose one here.
