@SledDriver [Regarding the WNP thing] Both users were at fault, in my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me if you want. I'm going to stop commenting on this forum post now, though. I've been a catalyst for some unnecessary drama (which somehow arose after our original discussion came to an amicable end). This forum post should've died a while ago, so by not commenting, I'm cutting off its life support.
@Joco80 Ah, you caught me at a time in which my life is just starting to get busy again. I could have a week ago. Let's see how busy I am in a few weeks, and decide then.
@Flightsonic I am thinking of making a 2D VTOL with attitude controlled by the trim or VTOL stick. Getting the thrust to be level would require a rotator-gyro setup thingy, maybe the main gyro and thrust system is on a block that rotates the aircraft on its pitch axis?
@SpiritusRaptor Thanks for the upvote. Of course, these guns aren't really useful with the updated XML options from 1.7. Hm, I might have to make another essentials post....
@FPDTHEMAX @F4f879 Thanks! I have added some crucial information into the description. If you want to know how to use these, then you should probably read it!
@Ephwurd I suppose I did. Originally, I was going to use RCN propulsion, but that would take a few hundred RCNs to propel the weight of this ship. I decided to figure out impulse instead.
@DarthAbhinav Thanks! When's i first joined the community, I tried my best to emulate what the big users were doing - custom cockpits, fighter bodies, etc.
@DarthAbhinav Clickable images are made by the link formatting, but instead of text, have the picture. [![] (picURL)] (LinkURL) Its that format, just remove the spaces.
@Franticmatty Just noticed that you are streaming! This plane is fairly simple to fly. If you want it to go into water, then you should read the controls. But for simple flying, it's easy. Just avoid the afterburner.
@ReischetzFokke Heh, not many bronzes browse the forums. But yeah, iOS can create some great builds. The person doing the building had to be a little more clever than the PC user to create something awesome.
@LoganStarships @SimpleFlow @AirCat I think this might interest you. And yes, it is (mostly) immune to destroyer bullets, although destroyer bullets do tend to find the holes in this thing's armor.
@TheNCRranger Grab the cockpit, but it is nearly impossible to drag the intact escape pod into your subassemblies.... I would suggest just building around the escape pod.
@Illusion No noise for this one. It only unrolls. I could put a bunch of engines inside to make noise, but this build was very low effort... Just a gag build.
@MAHADI I'm not sure, but if any one explanation would be accurate, it would be this one: I tend to cater towards sci-fi geeks. Most SP players are aviation geeks, and don't like futuristic stuff as much as WWII stuff. Also, I don't make replicas, and replicas often get lots of upvotes if they are done right.
Additionally, I am quite satisfied with the upvotes that I have. Sure, I haven't gotten a post that has had over 50 upvotes (45, so close), but I still get plenty of recognition for my work.
@Johawks1976 Oh yes. I made this after I saw the movie. I was definitely inspired by it. However, this design differs heavily from the swarm ships in STB.
@Potato21 I'm alive and well! I lurk on the site every once in a while. Mostly just moved on to other adventures, and my current/previous jobs are pretty similar to what I do in SP, which is quite nice
@ThomasRoderick Yep, of course this is an old build. I still like it though.
+1I've noticed that posting at noon (pacific time) works best for me.
+1Cannons would be really fun to use.
+1@ThomasRoderick The facility is designed for testing weapons without directly attaching the weapons to something (pylon, wing, etc.).

+1@SledDriver Sounds like a fun conversation to have. I am quite tired though, so perhaps another time.
+1@SharpShooter1301 No problem! That plane is one of my favorites, so have fun flying and using it!
+1@SharpShooter1301 The plane that has the cyan and magenta hexagon wing art? It is here.
+1@QXY I have done what I think will solve it. Try re-downloading, and see if it works. If it doesn't, then I'm not sure what else I can do.
+1@Joco80 Ah, you caught me at a time in which my life is just starting to get busy again. I could have a week ago. Let's see how busy I am in a few weeks, and decide then.
+1I like how you constructed this one. It is very part-efficient.
+1@Flightsonic That also sounds good. I'll take it into consideration.

+1@Z3RO Thanks. I try to differentiate myself from overly-detailed builds a bit.
+1@RedstoneAeroAviation PowerPoint, MS Paint, and some experience.

+1This is very well done. Your designs are some of the best on the site.
+1@QuantausAviation Yes, but if you are going for the ability to fly in a vacuum, be warned - it takes a lot of fine tuning to make it work.
+1@Ephwurd I just tested it. I don't think that it is linked to VTOL engine power. That's too bad. It could've opened many possibilities.
+1@Solarisaircraft Yep. The universe got a big update, too.
+1@Ephwurd I suppose I did. Originally, I was going to use RCN propulsion, but that would take a few hundred RCNs to propel the weight of this ship. I decided to figure out impulse instead.
+1No problem. I can tell that you put thought into this vehicle.
+1@Tessemi Yep. I gave a length constraint to this one, so it could be classified as a cruiser, rather than something else. 200ft was my maximum length.
+1@DarthAbhinav Thanks! When's i first joined the community, I tried my best to emulate what the big users were doing - custom cockpits, fighter bodies, etc.

+1@SUPERSAMROCK Oh yeah, probably should have used custom landing gear for that.
+1@SmileMore13 Beacon lights can only be scaled, or have their halo disabled.
+1@Tully2001 It does. Whenever I take a break (usually for family reasons), I come back with great ideas.
+1@AdrianFlyingAce That plane is an old favorite of mine. Have fun with it!
+1@AudioDud3 Feel free to provide a link.
+1@ReischetzFokke Heh, not many bronzes browse the forums. But yeah, iOS can create some great builds. The person doing the building had to be a little more clever than the PC user to create something awesome.
+1@Ctracerx2 I also managed to watch the part of the livestream that included you flying this. Fun to watch!
+1@LoganStarships @SimpleFlow @AirCat I think this might interest you. And yes, it is (mostly) immune to destroyer bullets, although destroyer bullets do tend to find the holes in this thing's armor.
+1@AstleyIndustries Hehe, I am male, but like Elara, I have a Slavic background.
+1@Viper No, Ephwurd calls his fictional universe the Continuum.
+1@TheNCRranger Grab the cockpit, but it is nearly impossible to drag the intact escape pod into your subassemblies.... I would suggest just building around the escape pod.

+1@Razr Yes. On every weapon, the detach point is a normal building block. It is colored dark grey.
+1@Razorblade Firing can only happen after the launch. If you attach another gun to the cockpit, the fireguns button should not hide itself.
+1@WEAPONSMITH Having no mass results in spontaneous explosions.
+1Try using Landing Skis.

+1@Ephwurd Not exactly. I have finished a neat space RPG for mobile called "Dangerous", which inspired the name.
+1@Johawks1976 Oh yes. I made this after I saw the movie. I was definitely inspired by it. However, this design differs heavily from the swarm ships in STB.
+1Me like.
