@zealt The crate needs to be attached to the craft that you enter. You can attach the crate to the craft with the subassembly function after you build the craft.
@AaltonenIndustries This beautiful tank built by another user is an excellent example of this. Sure, it may accumulate more downloads with time, but with its fairly standard part count, it should have double the amount of downloads it currently has.
@AaltonenIndustries It seems to be happening on other people's creations too. I took a quick trip to the highest rated tab, and looked at the uploads that had around 30 upvotes. I compared them to a build of mine that has 30 upvotes, and there seems to be a difference ranging from 200 to 600 downloads. In my experience, 30 upvotes means about 800-900 (if the file isn't massive) downloads. The recent ones with 30 upvotes are getting 200-600 upvotes, which is considerably lower than the previous number...
@TheNightmare811 I would prefer not. If it just molds into the ship, it wouldn't look at all like a cargo crate. it just becomes a fuselage block at that point...
@Seeras Yes, just make sure that there is at least one crate that is the size of the one provided. Editing crates for different roles is encouraged. I am eager to see what you create!
@TheNightmare811 I would prefer the crate to be attached, as it will influence the flight characteristics of the craft. Also, Spotlights have the potential to translate to more upvotes than other challenges offer.
Sorry for my late reply. If there is a low amount of entries, then I will judge this entry. It looks good, so I don't want to disqualify it. Instead, I will give it a point reduction, but compared to some of you competition, you will still do well.
@Razr I simply improve on another design, or I think of something that I want, or do not have, in my arsenal. For my favorite weapons, I usually solve a major problem that I have in combat.
@ShatSlanger It was derived from an aerial shotgun. The guns' spread was set to zero, so now it fires a focused beam, which makes it great against destroyers.
@LoganStarships @SimpleFlow @AirCat I think this might interest you. And yes, it is (mostly) immune to destroyer bullets, although destroyer bullets do tend to find the holes in this thing's armor.
@ZephyrSystems If you have a pc, download the overload mod, which lets you XML mod in-game with ease. Also download the Fine tuner mod, which lets you scale and angle parts in-game. I'll let you in on a little secret. I have never opened a .xml file in my life. I solely rely on these mods when working on my planes.
@SteadfastContracting You may use multiple cargo crates, and you may add to the cargo box. What you cannot do is take the weight off of the cargo box, or make the cargo box smaller. Generally, ships that have more cargo will score higher, so I encourage you to use plenty of cargo boxes.

@Sakari Yes. Fuel is only used for the RCNS on this craft.

@EternalDarkness Maybe. That's probably the reason.
@AaltonenIndustries Nice, lets move this conversation to an unlisted post though. Can you post what you have as an unlisted post?
I can't download it due to there being a mod on the craft, can you upload a version that doesn't require me to download a mod?
@TheNightmare811 Sound good. Based on a short visit to your profile, I can predict that you will do quite well in this competition.
@EternalDarkness @Gmanndo1000 Thanks! I have updated the desc to include important info.
I think they are working on SimpleRockets 2 still...
@MAHADI Maybe. I may do that after I finish my current project.
@ShatSlanger Thanks! I have updated the desc.
@ReindeerNevve Using fine tuner is fine. It is really just another way to XML. I use it on every one of my creations. No extra downloads are needed.
@Testin123 heh, you need to take off like I did in that forum post about reverse thrust. Have your engine in overdrive. (Activator 6)
@Athaya @Verterium Thanks! The desc has been updated.
@DeathStalker627 Sounds good. I am eager to see your creation! Just make sure that it is a successor.
Ah, I see it now. It looks great. Your skills are improving rapidly. Great work.
@Johawks1976 That would be fine. Just have your modifications be noticeable. Also remember that your entry must be a successor to this post.
Very well done. Thank you for your entry!
@OtterOfToast Awesome. I am eager to see your entry!
I cannot see the image. It must be my device. I will check later.
@OtterOfToast Scale models are fine. Just try to make its size semi- realistic/feasible.
@TheNightmare811 I'm a little confused. I'll just let you continue what you are building, you may upload it whenever you want. No changes needed.
@TheNightmare811 ok, I would recommend making a hollow section, and then putting a crate in there.
@TheNightmare811 I would prefer not. If it just molds into the ship, it wouldn't look at all like a cargo crate. it just becomes a fuselage block at that point...
I had a similar problem, but it was with iOS. When I uploaded something, I would not edit my desc at all, and only one or two screenshots.
@TheNightmare811 Yes, the crate can be part of the vehicle itself.
@Seeras Yes, just make sure that there is at least one crate that is the size of the one provided. Editing crates for different roles is encouraged. I am eager to see what you create!
@YuukaNeko Sure, I will give you some time.
@AaltonenIndustries haha, yeah, that's a side effect of the system that makes the spooling function.
@Spikerya Awesome. I am eager to see what you create!
@RedHawk Mass scale (that being weight) doesn't do anything. Size scaling does. Scale height to elongate the beacon.
Very nice, I recommend adding accents of another color to make the shape stand out more.
@RedHawk I used the fine tuner mod to XML scale the light.
@TheNightmare811 I would prefer the crate to be attached, as it will influence the flight characteristics of the craft. Also, Spotlights have the potential to translate to more upvotes than other challenges offer.
@Reaper9 There is no need to add any weight after the decals are removed. The crate should be attached to the ship.
I would argue that shakers are clever and innovative, but they still shouldn't be in a glider tourney.

@Razr I simply improve on another design, or I think of something that I want, or do not have, in my arsenal. For my favorite weapons, I usually solve a major problem that I have in combat.
@AaltonenIndustries Yes. Except if the guns are modded to have very high speed or ridiculous caliber.
@ShatSlanger It was derived from an aerial shotgun. The guns' spread was set to zero, so now it fires a focused beam, which makes it great against destroyers.
@TheNightmare811 Awesome. I am glad that you are joining!
@AtomicFerret007 Ok, I am eager to see your creation!
@ShatSlanger Thanks! I have finished the desc.
@LoganStarships @SimpleFlow @AirCat I think this might interest you. And yes, it is (mostly) immune to destroyer bullets, although destroyer bullets do tend to find the holes in this thing's armor.

@SteadfastContracting There is no need to ask, go ahead. Just make sure that you follow the rules.
@TheDoodleBanger Yes, just don't make it lighter or smaller.
I didn't notice the Pepe, but now that I have noticed him, I must spotlight this.
