Definitely looks cool, but there's a few things that could be improved:
It's way too big (You can scale planes down to 1:1 using fine tuner without much being effected to edit scale. Could have made it VR compatable if you did that :) )
The springs on the rudder and elevators break off, and they have other issues (Rudder ones should be inline with the fuselage, elevator ones shouldn't be there at all)
Probably would have been better to design the doors to be 1 piece and just swing open upward
Overall, I really like this design! I like the propoprtions and a lot of the design elements. The tail is pretty cool looking ngl. I like the cowling too
I'd say base SP, many aspects lack too much detail to be considered realistic, for example the very simplified drag model, stalling of wings, and the lack of any engine or system simulation.
But, if you dedicate an insane amount of effort into funky trees, getting study level simulation is technically possible...
You can adjust the spring strength by adjusting the slerpSpring. You can also make active suspension by giving them an input, and you can make it so they're pre-loaded by setting them to an input like 1 in the designer in the axis of rotation.
You can also make them significantly stronger than normal rotators by increasing the positionSpring and positionMaximumForce
Flyout makes building complex-shaped aircraft WAY quicker and simpler, but it has a few drawbacks:
You can't change the number of polygons fuselages have, so if you want a flat side with a square corner, you have to perfectly line up all the nodes, which don't have a typable number for their locations (you have to locate them all by eye)
Rotators are very simple, which make building complex mechanisms like realistic suspension a lot harder than in SP
Tbh, the designer camera controls are annoying
Tbh, although SP is a pain in the ass to build with and stuff takes an eternity to make, the physics side of it and the ability to add significantly more detail to your builds is why I still play this instead of flyout.
@DatMaluchGuy19 move your aircraft designs file to a different place outside SP, then reinstall the non-beta version and place your aircraft folder back in SP
Hopefully you're developing an SP contender like SP2. The SP community had got to the most popular it had ever been until you guys didn't release any updates for over a year and people lost interest. I think it would be foolish to not make something that the old SP users can get back into.
Oh no!
+14Anyway
@Sm10684 Oh wow same lol what a coincidence
+2Leaving
+2Damn this is so much better than the regular rats make me crazy "loop"
+112 days is nothing lol
@Pan evidently
+1If you're wondering how to follow someone and use your jetstream, here is a video explaining how.
+7kthxbye
@Kirillo @Natkano How did you guys suddenly find this post from 5 years ago lol
Bro just make videos don't worry about the views
Are you using the correct IP?
@Droopy gyrocopter = autogyro

@Sense2 It's one of my first builds
+2Okay, this is cool!
Well, they weren't lying when they said there's over 50,000 planes lol
@Transair56 I had a couple of accounts before this one (hence the ii) and also I forgot the name of my first one lol

It was probably a forum with 3 upvotes.
+3You didn't loose any points, it's just any points gained from a deleted post no longer count.
@FlyingPatriot Yup!
@PlaneFlightX I think I might on my old computer, which is at my parents house. I'll see if I can give you it at some point in the next few weeks.
+1@XAircraftManufacturer But they can just follow you
+2Don't make these a trend for the love of god
+5This looks pretty cool in the 3 view ngl
Noooooo! That's one of my main uses of discord! Hopefully this doesn't go through... :(
+7This is quite well done. Good job!

This has 10 million views on YT lol
@Graingy There's a lot of sites where I've made an account and never used it
+1You forgot @Moderators >:(
+1@Lee24 The easiest way to do it on PC is with this mod. I can't remember the command console input rn, I haven't used it in a long time :p
@Juanfly154 lol thx

+10Love the wing type 2 one lmao
+2I swear like half of the flyout community is made up of the most popular SP users from 3 years ago that you never see anymore
+2Just don't update to the beta
Guys I'm just here to announce that I officially own SP on a pregnancy tester.
+4Thank you for listening to my Ted talk

Okay, this is cool!
+1But please just report them and move on
+2Moderators can actually see removed comments btw
Far out 23 is a good innings!
I'm sorry for your loss :(
Bruh that's not what you say to someone who's cat just died :(
+1@DatMaluchGuy19 it's fixed
@DatMaluchGuy19 I understood the joke of the spiders name fully. But I decided to make another joke which turned it into a your mom joke aswell.
@DatMaluchGuy19 no u
legs almost as long as your mother is wide 😎
@5 Ahh good point
