Gyros are typically used for stabilization. The stability control can be disabled, which allows the gyro to be used for semi-realistic plane or tank controllers. Works best on the CoM, but you can use more than one
Noice (but i cant test it cause i am building something and you doubled the part count somehow)
Btw the name S4pre1 means this was a save before the fourth stage (upload stage in this case) in building, you should change it
@Awsomur @Oski
- sci-fi stuff: new structure parts not required, but new engines and guns (sfx) yes
- fuel is so the devs dont need to add a new power system
I will join :)
Suitable anti-worm stuff (more might be added later): Spiderling turret drone R/M-280, sure its a tank destroyer but its pretty good at killing worms / worm nests
@Blue0Bull @Fighterpilot91 @Fjorge i will likely build it once i watch the video it comes from, but dont expect moving parts or the crawling face
Also i might make it a inspired build instead of a full replica
@Dzeta8
Engine: not easy. Like I said earlier, the color you put in is mixed with another color, If you want green exhaust, I have some in here (you can save the nozzles as sub-assembly or copy the RGB code and paste it in another engine)
Gun: use a website or program with a RGB color picker. When you find a color you like, copy the hex code and paste it into the gun's code
1 block corresponds to 50cm (500mm), and 1m corresponds to 2 blocks. So, 152mm is 0.304 blocks. Remember to factor in barrel thickness as well. So, you may want a fuselage inlet 0.35+ in diameter.
I used a 0.4 block diameter for an inlet to achieve a 155mm caliber. I had to approximate the inlet thickness so it looks realistic. But then, it was my first legit cannon
@Dzeta8 remember to confirm your edits. If in Overload, press the tick at the bottom right of the interface to close the menu and save your changes. If using a file editor just save when you exit
When using gyros:
- make sure that auto stabilization is on
- adjust the pitch and roll stability with a lot of testing - so it is enough to keep your aircraft stable, yet still allows for air control
- you still have to add vertical stabilizers
- if using the gyros for air control, tweak the settings so they are good enough, yet not too hard to control
Engine:
Under the Engine section, change the overrideExhaustColor parameter. It uses the alpha-RGB format, but the color you put is not the actual resultant color, as it is mixed with another color first. Gun:
Under Gun, change the tracerColor parameter. This uses a normal RGB format. The color of the projectiles will be directly changed if you edit the tracerColor parameter.
I spend up to a whole week for a "serious" creation, though i can only spend up to 3h a day. Spreading work helps you to find bugs and add detail whenever you havs new ideas. Inside this week, i also spend 1h or more on the description.
It should be a connection point bug. Some part is incorrectly connected, which causes jamming.

@JetFly lots of light programming, you can see the plans here
Cool
@Tangyuge isn't it the other way around? Anyway good luck
Gyroscope helps in that you can roll the controls more slowly
@AudioDud3 yes

RCNs look good if used correctly, especially on spacecraft, so they will continue to be used
I like the base variant and veneno
@AdrianFlyingAce yep
Yes i said i would make it, but not a 100% replica (finetuner for mobile has no multi select), and prob after my next build
I guess your gear itself is too weak
- add more than 1 hinge or piston if you can
- set piston parameter
preventBreaking

(I might make a thomas thing soon but without the worm, hope it doesnt count)
@Tully2001 judging from previous posts, its a twin-engine airliner
I never used the variable pitch before lol
I have a 300-part semi-legit thing, it conducts tests directly on the ground, but cant collect samples atm
Dont spawn AI on final approach, or you cant lock on to them

1100+ parts, only hard blocks
500+ parts, with 16 bombs
300+ parts, with lots of pistons

@Haydencal third person OP
@Coolcrab123 they are not that OP, besides, the impact causes other parts to flex and explode
@Coolcrab123 did you try them out? I am sure half spheres work too

@2NDGhillie add dead weight behind the CoM or angle your elevators with fine tuner

I write the desc somewhere else first, its much better
?
._.
I got to over 2^31 mph AND stayed in one piece :) leet skillz
I have a lot of scaled detachers on my missile launchers :)
@Letome1 no other part has that parameter
The altitude (and speed) counter are 32-bit, so they only go up to 2^31
It definitely got faster... literally

If you use any pistons, set parameter
preventBreaking
to true. It increases the strength of the attach point.@Cadillace by using the
maxAngularVelocity
parameter in the wheels@Tully2001 map is M.corp Armored Games
Wow nice
But maybe add desc, and use Flat paint type for wheels
