@LTHank
Unfortunately they won't come anytime soon, as I had mistakenly deleted my SimplePlanes data and will have to redo the changes made, which likely is going to take a bit of time.
I'm sorry to dissapoint.
@PhantomBoltSP
I will not automatically tag you in future builds. I don't do that.
If you want to be notified, leave a notice on the Teaser posts continuing forward. A simple "T" will notify you.
give it a break, this game's practically 10 years old, it's physics engine is bound to be outdated
like bacon said, this game's just kinda like this and if you want to build something, you'll have to find a way to work with SP, not force SP to work with you
@Kikikokikomarumaru15000
thanks, but I've found a better console command and I've been using it ever since
and, no, there can be only so much jetfuel sniffing creature in one community that the rest refuses to delve into because they've got other people to do it

intake doesn't appear to be moveable
no camber, understandably
the antennae on top of the vertical stabilizer is supposed to not be symmetrical on the mudhen, with the right one being the smaller one
missing an antenna on the right side of the elevator mount (minute detail, understandable)
the LANTIRN pod has an incomplete set
while the AN/AAQ-14 is present, the AN/AAQ-13 isn't
engine looks a bit too spaced out, is it just me?
regardless, tis' epiq
@RB107
I was trying to figure out whether you mean example of a song, or an artist but eh I suppose I thought too much about it
as @froge said, the artist is Yon. YonKaGor is his full username. My most favorite example of his song is one called "Linger in the Rain", his latest single. Take a listen to it, it's pretty good.
@MartennLockkenn
Thanks for understanding.
I'm sorry if I sounded so arrogant, I can be such a person if I didn't try to control my own emotions. Though your input is very appreciated and will likely be considered.
@MartennLockkenn
I didn't really have any problems with making a custom-built track, I've seen how people do it and I originally thought that I could do my own spin of it.
I couldn't bother with the thought of dealing with too many parts. And no, I do not like using stretched tire parts, so I had to compensate.
While I'm at it, I'm going to touch up on your "improvement", a bit. I'm having a minor superiority issue, so bear with me on this one. Or even just outright ignore it.
There's a couple of reasons why I didn't do the things that you've mentioned in your improvements. First, armor.
This is a largely German based armor vehicle, and germany isn't known for using ERAs. This is ultimately my own preference, but I don't like putting ERAs on my own tank. It looks dirtier on 2nd generations since they weren't initially built with ERAs in mind (duh).
Second, engine input. There's a reason why I did it, and that is to both accomodate for mobile and PC play. Though I'm aware that some mobile players do play with Pitch+Roll on ground vehicles, sometimes one or two person like me will use Throttle+Yaw. So I made it with that in mind.
Third, weight. I wanted this vehicle to be as accurate as possible and I'm aware that it causes issues with SP's physics, mainly with the tires. I found a workaround of this by just increasing the mass of the tires and working around the traction value. I also artificially boosted it to 400% because I wanted it to have more traction to simulate it being a tank track, though that ultimately failed. Was it necessary for SP? No. Was it necessary for accuracy? Yeah.
@Monarchii
yes.
the basic principle is controlled torque change
you make the torque on one rotor greater than the other and it's going to yaw the craft.
see.. the problem I had with coaxial-rotor setup is that it doesn't have any tail rotor.. and that means it can't Yaw unless you use gyroscope..
I respect the effort, but this is wrong.
I have made a Coax helo with 0 input help from the Gyroscope. Not only can it stabilize itself without a tail rotor, it can also Yaw.
how, you might ask? simple.
use the Alt Collective input and use them in the same direction. (invert the direction for collective input in the other rotor part.)
you can also go through the cooler, but more sanity draining method
make your own Throttle Governor to be able to do differential RPM and yaw your helo that way.
it depends on a couple of factors, but it basically boils down to two things:
either the link isn't supported, or the formatting is wrong.
first and foremost, what is the link you put on?
according to sp, builds with <300 parts are mobile friendly.
though, you're not limited by the game's performance itself, more of your device's performance.
@WinsWings
Well, as much as it is a tutorial for "beginners" you shouldn't mislead them into thinking gyro is the only way out.
Most beginners stay as a beginner because they only think of one solution. So it's not a good way of help to say that "no matter how, it sucks" when in reality it doesn't.
VTOL plane sucks without a gyro, no matter how you try for the balance.
This is not true.
The Vertigo is plenty good enough to fly vertically on it's own.
It is rather easy to balance a VTOL aircraft, as long as you follow the CoM rule.
Say you have two VTOL nozzles spaced to the front and back of the aircraft. Imagine the gap of these two to be the "bridge", and CoM to be a weight sitting on top of the bridge. As long as you don't offset this weight to the far front or far back of the bridge, your aircraft will stay relatively stable. This is the basic principle of VTOL flight.
Although, it is significantly harder to do this on a Lift-Fan system, so if you don't have much experience I recommend using a gyro, even if it means people will call you out as a cheater for it.
@Yeetuscheese
Sorry, but I am going to say no.
I generally don't want to touch other people's builds unless it's necessary for me, and this request to me does not seem necessary.
What I would do instead, is to recommend and help you assist with some of the troubles you're having. Here's some recommendations/advices:
I would highly recommend Walvis' Easy Afterburner Tutorial for making cool afterburners. In fact, my afterburners are a derivative of this technique.
I highly suggest looking at real-life pictures of the reference cockpit. It's pretty hard to make a good cockpit and it takes time. So be patient and trust the process.
Highly suggest changing your wing type from Wing-3 to Wing-2, as structural wings are much stronger in structure than regular primary wings. If you don't know how, you need to activate "Overload" mod first. It's built in to your application, so all you need to do is go to "Mods" and activate it. Then in designer, you can press the button with a </> sign on it. Change partType from Wing-3 to Wing-2, and reconnect.
I'm sorry for rejecting your request. I know building planes can be pretty taxing mentally, but you would be better off learning the skills than having to rely on other people to do so.
Have a great rest of your day!
