In late December of 2024, I built a missile without any gyro or guidance from the missile just the missile powering it. Obviously this wasn't exactly a walk in the park, I had to build huge wings and scale them down which made the lift drastically huge for a small missile.
I also resorted to asking for help with the guidance system from a pretty famous missile builder in SP. The missile is gonna be able to top-attack and direct-attack onto the target which I had in mind. The coding and the designing aren't the worst part. The worst thing is the missile will go crazy if I make the launcher "lightweight". It will only work if I make the launcher 1.5 tonnes or heavier and speed over 150m/s will also make it go crazy. The most absolutely diabolical thing was if I changed the connection of the "ballast weight" to other fuselage parts it would also go crazy. This wasn't a big problem until now when I changed the launcher platform.
give it a break, this game's practically 10 years old, it's physics engine is bound to be outdated
like bacon said, this game's just kinda like this and if you want to build something, you'll have to find a way to work with SP, not force SP to work with you
I agree
It’s like having a wobbly rocket it KSP, exept SP doesn’t have struts
to make something good you kinda just accept the game is like this and learn how to work around it
@Graingy You ought to be! SP2 is supposed to be a improvement in every way!
Welcome to SP lol.
I will be kinda ticked off if they improve nothing for SP2.
mhm, this is a known fact.
SimplePlanes physics are sh-t.
