@Eggplant I would add the air brakes (hidden somewhere in the fuslarge) and let them open when you lower the flaps. so that you could simulate the experience
any way, I will join your challenge just to boost some points for you- (I was driving all the weekends and also busy so.) I must aim for the 4th place by the way... I can't make it too good, Hi Hi Hi Hi
@MrCOPTY I was busy and I have dropped it since I posted this video. But I will finish it once I have done judging the Challenge. In the meantime, I want to build a Biplane to honor your challenge. and one for Zaine - I was away from home during the weekends
@AntonWings My pleasure - I have a pair of Lavochkin fighters - 1/72 scale models, that I was building for a while and never finished yet. Your build looks very accurate based on the models I got
From the side view and top view: The fuselage looks too straight. match it out the real engineering drawings of the plane. You will definitely make it more realistic. For the wings, add dihedral or anhedral if necessary.
@Thesovietempire check out my buddy @MrCOPTY and @Zaineman - they are very much into cockpit and instruments. I just make simple ones. I am more interested in the fuselage, overall design and aviation history.
Hi Folks, there are 144 entries to judge. And I am starting it now. In a week, I will post the Winners and the honorable mentions. So please tune in with this.
Thank you very much to all participants and helpers -
Awesome. I was on a C5-A last month - where I visited the Air Mobility Command Museum https://amcmuseum.org which was about a 5-hour drive from my home. It is huge - the landing gear compartment is kind of interesting. Maybe the size of a New York City apartment.
Congratulations on 150K
Yo!

@HarryCat Great! hitting the Upvote means a good "Thank you" in our community
@Wibbley thanks for the upvotes
@TheGliderGuy well, it is not really a "glider", just a substitute for a parachute to drop the payload behind enemy lines.
+1interesting
+1@TheGliderGuy Look, I saw some WW2 ear Gliders... I know you are doing modern ones, but I would love to see some vintage and rare ones too.
