As for the intake, why not use a combination of both the harrier and F-35B to counter the issues the X-32 had? We could have two intakes like the F-35 or the Yak but have them close when VTOLing and have compartments ontop of the intakes open to let in air for the engine. It might be like 70-80% of the air but that should be more than enough to facilitate VTOLing. I could perhaps draw a mockup of what I mean, well I suck ass at drawing but still. Maybe even make this a collab.
@Rb2h
I kept the main cockpit at the back instead of the middle, the missiles would then be unable to hit me cause where they're targeting has a lower... hit box? Well it's just harder to hit by putting the cockpit piece in the back, also it kinda simulates how heat seekers go for the hottest part of the plane: the nozzle.
@ReinMcDeer
I feel like using the wing's control surface instead of putting it in the slat can give you the stability at high AOA and extra lift to the plane when landing or taking off.
Honestly, you might as well quickly polish it up then release it. If you don't think you'd have the focus to continue working on it then you should probably do what you can and release it. If SP2 comes around and it's still in the workshop, then there's a pretty good chance you might end up making a new F-14 and this one stays in limbo forever.
@TALAP1A
+1Perhaps it's time for the MKIII, a whole new 5.5th - 6th gen platform. I was saving that for SP2 though.
I was about to ask why your still using the old platform but you still cooked.

+1Also I never thought of combining the VTOL layouts before.
+1You just read my mind, I was thinking of making a VTOL similar to this.
+1@32
Well then, if I really wanted to, I could scour the site for similar thumbnails they let slide and make a new forum post about each one I find.
Plus if I were to re-upload, I'd be breaking another rule.
+1@crazyplaness
+1Well now you know it's not, there's proof that it is actually a filter of a screenshot in SP. Can I have my post back?
@CaptainNoble
+1God bless!
If that's the rule then fine, but it should be enforced for all.
@X99STRIKER
+1Thanks, guess not everyone thought so.
@SuperSuperTheSylph
+1Thank you.
@NapoleonPizza
+1Thanks man!
@Kerbango
+1Actually I've gotten an alternative to that problem, but if it comes up again I'll let you know and I'll credit you for the labels.
Bro that cockpit...

The thumbnail doesn't do this justice.
+1@SPMistatopi
+1Ouch, that's rough man.
@SPMistatopi
Then get back on it, it looks great!
+1Awn, I kinda liked the whole 350 part count thing, ah well, time to make something too complex to finish.
+1Tempting...

@MonsNotTheMonster
Why that value? Don't you want more lift?
Rein you mind shedding some light here
+1T
+1@YarisHatchback
+1Nope, guess I'm too old.
@YarisHatchback 19?
+1Twenty one!
+1@TsukasaYuzaki
+1We both returned.
@SkyJayTheFirst
+1It's about time.
Now if only these were stock parts in SP2
+1Hey, you mind if I modify this and use for a challenge? I was planning on making it 'lore' accurate.
+1@LunarEclipseSP
+1Yeah, I mentioned that for the Pigpen II.
@MsMuseumJanitor
+1Lol, I wouldn't say original since it's based of another person's design. But thanks and your welcome.
@MsMuseumJanitor
+1Check my posts in my bio.
Twin!
+1@Sockdragger
+1Seconded!
The legend has returned!
+1He might be purple but he's gonna beat you black and blue.
+1@SkyJaytheFirst
Where's your plane bro?
I've been waiting.
+1@Rjenteissussy
+1Aight well then it might be a lil later, I was just trying to remaster something already built.
@Whills
+1For sure! What I intended to do anyway.
Hey, you mind if I use some parts for my flanker? Especially the labels?
+1@Rjenteissussy
+1Is there a blueprint of the razors ford Mustang?
@Rjenteissussy
+1I'm looking to remaster something and not build a whole new chassis.
@Rjenteissussy
+1I mean if there's a Ford Mustang I can build of of.
@Rjenteissussy
+1Link me to it.
@Artutu
+1What if I do the track version? I like the look of it, and I got a few ideas in terms of visual mods.
@Rjenteissussy
+1Although I was thinking of another muscle car, any suggestions?
@Rjenteissussy
+1Remaster time?
You plan to make a more track version of this anytime soon?

+1Cool Jag.
