@randomusername Actually, the in-game rule judged that air cannot pass through rotators, pistons, wings, and detachers - i.e. It shouldn't matter if the engines have their own sets of inlets.
Soooo... from your comments on gyroscopes, I'm wondering whether the gyroscopes are modified or not... Also, I found that gyroscopes on fixed-wing aircrafts doesn't seem to work well, and I saw most "2D VTOL" builds using gyroscopes with the gyro speed modified to 1000% to achieve a stable VTOL takeoff... Are those supposed to be the norm?
P.S. I know that more gyroscope power a plane has, the slower the rotation on the yaw axis is.
WWII light cruisers (non-American, that is) do have torpedo tubes... Camouflaging any ship other than an auxiliary cruiser is a waste of valuable deck space, which could be used for catapults/cranes for seaplane scouts.
Suddenly understood the reason why nobody in-lore uses this ship... the controls are mediocre at best, and it takes forever to descend... the auxilaries are useful for gaining altitude, but prolonged burns could flip theship over... Also, how does the auxilaries work? I didn't see any parts that contributes to the auxilaries.
@Ephwurd Ok, gotcha. Nice setting, but what type of transports do core worlds use? According to the background story of this ship, it seems that these ships are rarely, if ever used in the core worlds.
The free-dangling ammo belt feels weird. If the belt comes out of a box or a port inside the craft it would look much better. Still, the overall look was nice, good job! Also, this looks closer to dieselpunk than steampunk, by the way,
@Ephwurd The older lore, the flux beam was designed as an orbital mining laser, if I remembered correctly. And I think in a more realistic setting, "Sniper Vessels" don't exist because those ships with the longest range were either carriers which do not need to fight enemies directly, or battleships with an insane amount of armor and a large number of guns on turrets on both fore and aft of the ship.
A true masterpiece!

Are the guns howitzers? The barrel length and caliber doesn't make a good anti-tank gun, but the lethatlity of high-caliber howitzers are even higher than a typical anti-tank gun.
This design could be more accurate if the "torpedo" is a bomb attached to the "pole" on the bow. Self-propelled torpedoes haven't been invented a the time, and the so-called "torpedoes" were spar torpedoes. And that's why it sank (the ship got caught in the blast, which killed the crew while leaving the hull somewhat intact)
"a frigate fighting like a battleship..." last time, with advanced fire control computers and gun directors; this time, with long-range missiles?
A sci-fi counterpart to the Gloster Meteor, I assume?

Colin Furze will be proud...
The same plane, but with guns and bombs...
I thought I was looking at a photo of your car when I saw the first picture... Excellent build!
I see... Since the very beginning your builds are cyber-punk-ish and marvelous... Good Build!
Great Build!
Those missiles... The ancient ancestor of the EM missiles?
The head of a western dragon and the body of an Asian dragon? What have science done? Good build anyways.
Is this the ancestor of your vortex-type Artillery Units?
@SirBalistic321 Just a modded exhaust plume, nothing else
Is the facility some sort of shipyard?

Holy Sh*t this ship is beautiful!
@Ephwurd Why does the ship pitch up when accelerating if the "Landing Gear" group if activated? Is that just aerodynamics?

I think normal traders don't need to go to places where navies do not patrol... What are those "fringe routes"? Are they shortcuts?
Great job! I love that mast design!
Your ships are beautiful! Wish you become plat one day.
It's so beautiful...
Canonically, this ship don't really seem to be designed to fly in the first place...
"When pigs fly." "Oh sh*t flying pigs are real!"
Those are gold level details! Way to go, @Lykoloo!

@RailfanEthan Thanks a lot!

The Overseer-class mining vessel?! Nice build!

"Rail Rockets"?! Is that a Fractured Space reference?

Good Job! Love the wing outline.
@F4f879 Well, not too painful, but if you take the central module (the "flare" part) and mount three or four of 'em in a barrel...
@EternalDarkness Is the "flare gun set things on fire" a in-game reference to the fire hazard posed by flares?
@GermanWarMachine The spefyjerbf link is https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/2y3J2N/
@GermanWarMachine The name of that sci-fi builder is spefyjerbf; however, the difference is that the "Phantom" design does not have the muzzle flash
Are overlapping guns allowed?
Wow...
Beautiful!
It's... beautiful...
It's beautiful!
That's what we call masterpiece!
Good job!
From the game "The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt", right?
Beautiful! BTW, the starships on your avatar are Black Widow, Ghost, Leviathan, and Executioner, if I'm not mistaken?
Is your warp core based on your older warp-ship designs?
