@SledDriver Sorry I forgot to type in the latter half of the comment... It was meant to be ".Quite sure...imginary, it is a great build. As for the design, it's not a bad derivative." As what you've just said is pretty much what I was thinking about as well.
Quite sure real-world RQ-4s are unarmed and have longer wings, but given the nature of this build - something that is loosely based on real-world designs, yet futuristic and imaginary.
@EliteArsenals24 I meant "that variant will not be uploaded within the bundle", not "I'm going to abandon the project". The long range AA and AT missile pods were already in testing phase, and it will be only a matter of time before I start to lob mortar bombs out of this thing. Some other designs will include energy shielding against missiles (with a variant that will help ramming), a manually controlled missile that is powered by standard rockets, and perhaps some other missile racks and artillery pieces to top it off.
By the way, are turrets acceptable builds?
Are weapons with 100+ ammunition (all separate) allowed? I'm currently making a
universal missile pod/launch tube set, and one of the variants is a "metal storm"-esq launcher stuffed with 108 individual rockets (modified to have a 40mm grenade level range plus the fire rate of around 800 shots per second, the physical limit of projectile weapons in-game)
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck Normally speaking, a fleet carrier (which this build isn't, it's closer to a light carrier) do not sink that fast, and just where did you get 800mm torpedo tubes (normal torpedo tubes are 21"/533mm)? Also, beware as carriers do not normally operate alone. The surrounding destroyers and helicopters might be a bit trigger-happy when somethng finally showed up on their sonars.
That said, if you ever manage to get a carrier with neither destroyers nor helicopters surrounding it, it will prove a easy prey. I would rather write something closer to "A series of explosions on the waterline, another carrier started to founder. Beware of the steel-fleshed sharks that lurks down below."
Also, based on your description, Cold Waters or Silent Hunter Series, I assume?
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck Before you realize, a squadron of helos are starting to converge on the spot directly over your sub... An anti-submarine torpedo is now dropped, and starts to home on you... Perhaps it's a good time to flee the scene.
Well, an I-16! Good job! BTW, now I saw the difference between a Northrop Gamma and an I-16... A Northrop Gamma had the grate-looking thing a bit behind the cowling, while on the I-16, the grate-looking thing is the cowling; a Gamma is also a bit slimmer and has no fairing over the propeller mount.
@XxLukeRZxX Well, I watched a few episodes of the accompanying anime (for me simply being bored and wanting to watch something funny) before I actually started googling about the franchise. Then I realized the similarity between this particular build and the specific character - and when combined with the fact that someone told me this build closely resembled a character from an anime which they forgot the name of, it all fell into place...
@XxLukeRZxX I think this suit closely resembled the character Baselard from the Frame Arms Girl franchise - with the biggest difference being the pilot and the weapon loadout.
Perfect build! Have to say that I had problems trying out previous units thanks to my junk of a phone (even for this one I have to remove pretty much every piece of weaponry and detail just to make it work as intended on low physics...)
@SledDriver Sorry for the confusion! As this builds was meant to be a spaceship - or at least a sci-fi aircraft, I used the word "starfighter" to describe this build...
@SledDriver The I-16 is a low monowing fighter designed by the Soviet Union in the 1930s, and was famed in that it was the first low-monowing cantilever fighter with retractable landing gears and attained operational status.
@SledDriver Well I ddn't notice... I thought it's an I-16 from the placement of the cannons, but the nose of the craft do resemble that of the Northrop Gamma... Sorry!
One quick question: what causd the donut-shaped smoke trail that seemed to have originated from the ventral side of the craft? Is there another (XML-ed, non-damaging, pointied at a solid block) gatlin gun used to mimic the smoke/recoil effect of the gatlin cannon?
I'm just wondering whether the ejection seat would work with the jet intake directly behind the cockpit... Anyways, this looks like a crossover between an He-162 Volksjager (wings and engine), an A-4 Skyhawk (nose), and an A-10 Thunderbolt... Goodjob!
"When they say "buttefly effect", I didn't expect they mean a butterfly with plasma cannons and anti-ship missiles... It's too late now."
Just kidding! Nice build!
@Ownedpilot I'll try to run this craft, but I'm not joining this challenge as my phone is junk that cannot run anything with more than 100 parts on high physics before lagging.
Captain America 2, anyone?
+4Is this inspired by any real-world aircraft?

@Minecraftpoweer I meant if this is supposed to be part of a replica or so...
What is this supposed to be?
When flying, Menu - Settings - Quality Settings - Aircraft Reflections
Tips: turn on aircraft reflections for best screenshot results.

I have to say that this specific placement of ammunition looks a bit... suggestive...

A mixture between HIJMS Yamato and HMS Rodney, with modern elements added?
Nanuchka?
+1Nice to see ya' again, Ephwurd!

+1Nice build... dat part count though...
Great idea! Thanks!

Good to see another build form you!
+2Good to see another build from you! Nice work!
+1Let's see... A shortented F-14 Tomcat?
@Gela I mean I had some serious problem determing what this thing is... Is it supposed to be a heavy bomber of sorts?
Smooth!
Just... what...
@Ownedpilot Very true...
Cool!
@Ephwurd Same...
What the duck is this?! (Sorry for the awful joke, I just cannot help it, sorry!)

+1Why do I have the word "Vossk" showing up in my mind the second I saw this thing in flight?

Is this inspired by the renowned I-16? A starfighter that looks like an early WWII monoplane fighter...
Anyways, good job!
The story is great! Looking forward to see more such stories!
Annnd... the plane's nice, too.
@Marine Ok, thx for the information!

Is modified engine power and/or fuel consumption allowed?
+1@Ownedpilot Lagged on Mid and High physics, ran well on low.

Are those underwing chambers ballast tanks?
Nice to see you again, Spefy!
