@ThomasRoderick This class of ship is the first kind of post-treaty heavy cruiser of that fictional country and the first ship of this class,Diligent, was launched in 1940,followed by Industrious and Assiduous. It’s true that they are a bit slower than their Japanese opponents (as a matter of fact, the Diligent-class could only reach a speed of around 30 Kn),but due to the displacement limit, the 5 inch inclined armour belt cannot always protect the ships from enemy gun fire.:(

@WDRoosevelt Cool! BTW, when were those ships launched? Around the beginning of WWII, judging by the radar? Also, given their roles and shapes, I assume they are slower than their contemporaries, but better protected against both enemy gunfire and torpedoes?

@ThomasRoderick Thanks!Actually, the ship is operated by a fictional country located in the centre of the Pacific Ocean. The country was once discovered and ruled under the Crown and later became an independent country which has a quite good relationship with the US.That’s why you could find a mixture of British and American design here on this ship. The country’s ship designers first learnt how to design ships from the British but were later asked to equip some advanced American technology(e.g. the CXAM Radar) on board XD

Looks cool! Is this ship supposed to be half American and half British? The turrets, rangefinders, rear mast, and stacks looks quite American, but the bridge, fore mast, catapult, and secondary guns look somewhat British.
