[Map Teaser] The Nexus - Architectural Overview

Hm. Two months since my last post. Lets change that.

I implied in my last upload that I am going though a transitional period of my life that requires my full attention. Therefore, I haven't been able to play SP much. I am on the trailing edge of this transition, but in the end, I will have a large amount of responsibility that will probably make my posting infrequent.

But, I have had some snippets of free time!
In this time, I have worked on an old promise of mine that I never delivered, The Nexus. The link will direct you to the last teaser that I released about it. I have significantly improved the look of the buildings since those teasers. Here's a little graphic to show you what I'm talking about:

As you can see, my modeling skills have improved. I can now generate good-looking building models that also aren't too laggy!

The architecture itself is very geometric. Hexagons are prominent shapes in every design, as well as various quadrilateral prisms.

I am almost done with the map. Just have to generate some pictures, and have Unity build the android portion of the map. My schedule is quite variable, but release should be soon! If you wish to be notified when the map is released, please let me know.

    @RYANF34 Thanks! My schedule will continue to be extremely busy, but I'm planning to release some stuff on SR2 and SP during the holidays.

    @AudioDud3 Thank you, and happy thanksgiving (although I'm probably a little late to say that)! I'll definitely release some interesting stuff for SR2.

    @spefyjerbf Make sure to keep the LOD distances similar, that wont always mean making them the same percentage, most importantly, they should look correct

    @jamesPLANESii I'm not entirely sure how to turn that setting off. I did everything that i though would work, and had no success.
