If you mean why it keeps getting defeated? Low armor, it's one of my least protected planes.
If you mean why the upgrades (Interdictor and Syncopator) aren't out yet? Because I have big plans that would take quite a bit of work, e.g. the Syncopator getting its name from its thrust vectoring. Admittedly the AI side of it would be completely gone but at least it would be a better fighter which is what matters at the end of the day.

@Majakalona For now at least. The A-40 is so popular that it's bound to get more joke variants, including the tiny version that is stuck in GuardianAerospace's glass of water. However, between PEAs and a number of different secret projects I have up my sleeve (including one that definitely wasn't built to vaporize your ground forces if we went to war over your PEA hate), the A-40 variants aren't coming out for now. Plus, we have the overpowered A-40C and A-40Si which I refuse to let into anyone's hands
