Not at all. This was a serious competitor for the wide/medium body aircraft that rolled out shortly after the project was cancelled by spineless politicians. Fully read the following article. This was a major factor in the demise of the British aeronautical industry. @BroAeronautics

Stunning! I’d venture so far to say the best replica on the site! Once again old bean, I’m rather envious of your ability to replicate dimensions etc! Jolly good!
Retractable landing gear or fixed? I think it definitely shows signs of promise so keep at it. Some insignia would look good on it too, try to make the wings thicker by adding fuselage pieces. Good luck!
Having done the B.20 the B.44 was on my radar - don’t think I could have done half as good a job as you’ve done here, this really is beautiful and the functionality is damn good! BZs all round!
Looks superb! Ashamedly I never knew those painstakingly awkward decals you put on your childhood spitfire tail denoted daylight ops! I hate to pick your brain but what was the yellow leading edge stripe about on the wings?
Oh.... don’t get me started on those sliders for rotating parts... bloody awful! Especially if your fat fingered like me. It seems there are not enough decimal places so, as you correctly stated it’s rather limited. The ability to enter a value would greatly help.
Great build of one of the more rarer breeds on sp, bravo! Yeah the concept was there but they used the same merlin engine and all that extra weight and drag gave it poor performance. I remember reading somewhere the only real defence against 109s was to form a circle, thus offering mutual defence and to lose height to nullify the weakness from below. Great stuff!
Certainly looks like an Italian stunner and I think you’ve got that ‘feel’ nicely. Turns on a sixpence - incidentally what settings do you work on with iOS? I’m only able to run with minimum settings :(
Thanks @GhostHTX I saw this as a concept drawing whilst in the process of looking at plans of another build all together. I got interested, read into it a wee bit more, played with thrust vectoring a little and before I knew it I had yet another build shelved by my distraction! It’s not VTOL though..... that devilment is beyond me - hats off to you old chap for making a whole series of them!
Funny you should mention the argosy. Shortly after starting this game I started building one. For whatever reason my interest in the build waned and it was left half built until I eventually deleted it as part of a clear up of my SPs. @8bitgamer33
Thank you, I like taxing about like that it’s a little more realistic! There is no evidence there would have been contra rotating props but I thought it would suffice to increase performance! @8bitgamer33
@Finniusorion @mikoyanster @SledDriver @RamboJutter @Carbonfox1 @aplayer @ThePilotDude @BritishNarwhal7 @JettStorm @DestinyAviation and @WarHawk95
Many thanks for your support!
Missed this when it came out, pretty damn good!

Shape looks good, hard to fly I’m sure there a knack though and I look forward to the finished article!
I was hoping this would shape up into the drop ship from aliens - maybe next time :) good stuff!
That’s very kind of you, room for improvement for sure! @joelthebear

Tip top old bo..... I mean comrade!
Seems to work well enough - quite a novel build!
Definitely up there with some of the finest ‘spits’ on this site, bravo!
Superb! Thanks for a mobile friendly version too!
Marvellous, bloody marvellous!
Thanks @GhostHTX - you should check out the improvements Rambo made to this. Blew my little mind!
Another beauty!
I’d quite like to see Star Wars renditions by sledriver and his take on it! @ChickenMcNuggets007

Looks magnificent!
@gunkanmarch thank you very much for giving this it’s 50th upvote - and riding me of my OCD!

Platinum woooohoooo! (Sorry most undignified of me) Most deserved and overdue!
Congratulations old bean! (That’s a little more stiff upper lip)

Bloody marvellous! I will take her for a spin!
This deserves a hell of a lot more attention!
Sea twinfire.... :) @GhostHTX

This looks lovely in the naval garb! Not too sure on the name..... still looking at it! @GhostHTX
Thanks for the spotlighting my blundering attempts once again! @RamboJutter
Thank you all! @MrVaultech @F104Deathtrap @BogdanX
Tell me about it. You should have seen it before i added numerous bits to increase the rate of roll! She’s a fat bird I’ll give you that! @ChiChiWerx
Thanks mate, I take it you’ll be watching the match against the argies? I quite like how Scotland are playing these days! @GhostHTX
Thanks buddy, very kind of you to say! @Trainzo
Much appreciated guys, thank you all! @EternalDarkness @Avro683Lancaster @CursedFlames
Is it? I generally thought the trim wheel should follow the control stick? @SelectAKey

Your too kind, thank you! @SelectAKey
You can see it on the trim slider on the side of the screenshot but I don’t know how that function translates from iOS to pc I’m afraid. @8bitgamer33
Thank you! @Gauss

Aside from a incorrect digit in the description, what did you think of the actual build itself? @8bitgamer33
Thanks for pointing that out. @8bitgamer33
This is great, I think our interests overlap!
Thank you very much @Treadmill103 most kind of you!
As ever, my pleasure! @Trainzo
Thanks for your recent interest in my work! @CommanderSword
No worries, good stuff once more! Particularly liked the basilisk, good design/concept and neat name! @GhostHTX
This is really promising stuff - I look forward to your B26!
“Bro-reds” my choice of smoke!
This is brilliant, looks beautiful too! Why are you tagging a raft of people in the comments out of curiosity?
