Majestic. Speaking from experience that crescent wing is a pain to get right but this looks bang on! Why would you not use fuselage slicing for the air brake at the rear out of curiosity?
The sinking of the Repulse and the PoW represents the folly of thinking by the heads of sheds at the time. Having being told the RAF couldn’t provide cover the decision was made to continued all the same…
@EngieWeeb I’ve always (well within the last few years anyway) just buried an xml edited set of flying surfaces in the build and have the visible movable surfaces for show. I always find it gives more flexibility and you can adjust with more accuracy the characteristics you’re looking for. But yeah getting a decent flight model can be an art form sometimes!
Someone’s actually made a flying orca - which I suspect is to garner the meme vote. This deserves more than that post. Have I lost my sense of humour or are you all barking mad?!?
I do like replicas but if you’re gonna do wip posts or anything to show how close to original plans it is etc, colour the sections to make them stand out against the drawing.
Love those Vulcans you build, saw ‘558 last October and started building a 1:1 replica but for the same reason of distraction with other builds, it remains 60% built.
@EnglishGarden I was about the to say there’s some good anson vibes!
Let’s hope this passes a certain corsair escapade of ludicrous proportions.
+1Best video on making an accurate wing, bravo!!

Love a lightning! Great looking livery too!
+1Having just watched Battle of Britain I love this! Great build, really neat way of getting a curved roundel btw!
+1Cool concept! As it happens the closest build I have to completion is a sea vixen….. damn this looks good!
+1Awesome job! How the hell are you able to get images in a text label, what sorcery is this!? :)

+1@MRLLVO looks good though!
Love it!
Yes yes yes!!! Quick question regarding dates - will you accept battleships commissioned between this time or is it strictly built between this time?

+1I must have been absent when this came out, damn son this looks good!
+1@EngieWeeb oh I’ve been here, just not finishing any builds to be posting anything!
+1It used to be simple.

It’s time for me to leave this game.
+1P.s just read your bio and you definitely don’t suck! Any appreciation for building an accurate replica gets my support!
Nice. The INcorrect stuff does warrant attention it seems but nice replica!

Your part builds have more parts than most my complete builds, this is pretty amazing stuff!
+3What a majestic build and great subject material. I don’t want to think how long this took to build but I’m astounded!
+2Lovely mix up once more, I’ll be submitting a little something myself for this - a nice little simple-plane distraction from various projects!
I remember a time when planes were simple….. lovely build once more, liking the special your having at the moment!
Lovely stuff!
As ever an exceptional build! I must try wing flex on my next airliner build, I feel it really adds a realistic quality (if done correctly like here)
Absolute cracker of a build - think the roll rate has been mentioned, aside from that brilliant job bud!

+1@MrCOPTY beats me 🤣
+1What a beaut!
+1Not seen a whimpy in a while, jolly nice one too!
Because it was made in blighty!! @Mustang51
+2Bloody marvellous!!
Really well built and some of the best gun effects I’ve seen! Tip top!
+1Oh I never left old boy :) @Cryolophosaurus
@ReturnOfJeffChandler hmmm….. add more! ;)
@Lerkov1991 don’t hold out on it anytime soon
+1@Carolean thanks, not built one for years so struggled to give it semi decent/realistic handling.
+1Don’t know what happened here but I’ve lost the successor challenge - apologies but would you mind adding again for me @FairFireFlight

@AWACSgodess about half way along the fuselage, blue in colour.
+1Not enough lancs on this site - great build, what’s the jet firing downward for just out of curiosity?
+1Awesome - certainly looks the part, I do love the original Enterprise !
+1@BobDaBilder123 thank you for that although I was impressed with the other entry and feel it was better than my efforts.
@FairFireFlight you’re a scholar and a gent thank you!
@belugasub you’re a scholar and a gent thank you.
Are we allowed to submit entries on the 1st? I'm pushing time a little lately...
+1@Sergio666 I never left old boy!
+1@MrSilverWolf do you know a mod that can help me?
@BobDaBilder123 sorry bud - have entered but due to being away and swapping devices the successor post has been lost, trying to get mods to rectify.
