Beautiful wee flier! Like the folding tail fins that’s a nice idea!

  • NGAC-23 'Flar' 7.0 years ago

This is nice, pitch response is realistic, roll however is very quick. Uncontrollably so although I am on iOS so don’t know how it is in the real world :) the wheels are rather large I feel - maybe you designed this to take off from ploughed fields I don’t know.

Pretty knarly looking! Will have to try this out!

  • Avro Vulcan 7.0 years ago

Sorry I’ll catch up on my SP admin - thanks for your support guys, rest assured the victor will follow. This may take a few months as I flew headlong into it and realised I had a few things unfinished that I feel need to be completed before proceeding! @ForeverPie @F104Deathtrap @BurkeEnterprise @BogdanX

Fairey Aviation. So many greats rolled out their doors. I have a soft spot for Fairey (and all defunct British aerospace for that matter) and believe it or not Blackburn! I would like to have had a bitter or two with those boffins!

I really wish I didn’t but at the same time I think it draws a line for you on iOS. Basically I’m too tight fisted to upgrade! @RamboJutter

Yup, and unable to use on iOS.... :( @RamboJutter

Neat build and very unique. My only critique (and a very minor one at that) could the folding mechanism not be assigned to the landing gear button? Good stuff all the same!

  • Hawker Hart II 2.3 7.0 years ago

Flies rather nicely, I especially like the recess for the LG to slot into. I can see your into the engine exhaust lights - I think it they do look good from a distance. Shame sp won’t get an update for exhaust effects anytime soon....

  • Hawker Hart II 2.3 7.0 years ago

She’s a beauty, got the elegance of Supermarine about her! Contra rotating props are always a good thing!

  • Imperial Stormtalon Gunship (WH 40k) 7.0 years ago

All the more impressive for being built (poor grammar correction) on an iPhone!

It would be a long list to be fair! :) @BogdanX

  • Supermarine Spitfire Mk1a 7.0 years ago

Great build, great that you’ve credited those who have assisted but why choose that background it’s v dark!? I’m the least artsy fartsy when it comes to these things so if you were going for a “dark ambiance to reflect the nature’s of war man......” I’ll wind my neck in!

Thank you, this is my personal favourite replica I’ve done in terms of getting the right shape. The unsung hero of the v bombers and I used to have FS2000 and got a Cold War pack where you could fly the val. good stuff, starting to show my age now.... @RedRoosterII

  • Avro Vulcan 7.0 years ago

At SL yes, at cruising altitudes 45000ft to 55000ft hell no. In fact at altitude it’s stupidly quick. I’ve not managed to win with the engine characteristics on this game. @sandyshores

  • Dehavilland Vagabond II 2.4 7.0 years ago

Very neat, some interesting and detailed features! What was the inspiration for the movable tail units?

  • Avro Vulcan 7.0 years ago

Cheers mate, oh yeah I would love to be good enough to do that camo and recreate op black buck! Before the Argies went all bargie they tried to source a Vulcan. A few months later they invaded the falklands.... @MEERKAT978

  • English Electric Sea Arrow 2.7 7.0 years ago

Works a treat, thrust vectorings a real good touch! Thanks for the comments on my build - I still need to do a lot of tweaking and finish the paint job. I don’t know how the thing flies and there’s a unrealistically low stall speed as a consequence.....

  • Indiana Jones DC-3 7.0 years ago

Absolutely, Ford Connery combo worked a treat! @Kungfuevan
