As far as I can tell it is, however if you have an older device the blueprint button won’t appear. If someone wants to correct me if I’m wrong feel free! @Acethewolf25
Thanks again! From what I’ve read the general strength of the airframe let it down and the square windows (that were supposed to be glued and riveted, were only riveted) exacerbated the cracks. Punch rivets (as opposed to drilled) were also used which created an imperfect cut allowing fatigue cracks to form. Still, someone had to learn the hard way.
@Mustang51
I cant believe those crazy swedes made this in the 50s. It looks modern even by today’s standards (well at least in my little mind). Beautiful build, like the art work too. That’s a nice touch!
Another beautiful boat. I mean the Russian designs are mostly butt ugly - the beauty is in the detail and accuracy you deliver. You must have an addition of ‘janes fighting ships’ from the Cold War? I grew up (not in the Cold War mostly) reading Clancy novels. TC. Gone before his time.
I was more than hoping that his Saturn v was original hence why I spotlighted. I haven’t bothered to search all the Saturn vs for the original but if someone spent the time building something like that you’d talk about it in the description surely.... @Mustang51
You and me both, the vixens a beautiful bird! Oh no extensions necessary. I’ve made it my sp priority to take part, don’t think I’ve participated in a challenge for a long time! @Mustang51
A sea vixen. I think I’ve covered most FAA types of the 50s (big fan of the scimitar) and Ive done my homework on the vixen. First flew in 51, didn’t enter service till 59 (dang and blast). Still I’ve done the groundwork, it should be released at some point. Along with my brab that has seemingly stalled due to my mercury programme and and a precursor to the EF. The original firebrand I made was for a 20 part challenge and I’ve been itching to remedy that build for years. I just hope I can cobble something together before your deadline as I’ve been a little slow of late! @Mustang51
Damn and blast. I always assumed my build entered service in the late 40s. Turns out it wasn’t until the early 50s. Hmmm will have to think of something else. @Mustang51
Thank you very much! The tower was a little fiddly, the smoke effect was salvaged from a rocket powered build by MilesTPrower. As an iOS user I am incapable of mods. Mustang51
That’s some “stopping power” alright, twin barrels! I remember the twin barrelled soviet tank from red alert that had quad tank tracks I think. Absolute beast. Lovely stuff!
Absolutely no worries - v much deserved! It looks great and the performance is realistic too. Such a rare type on sp, come to think of it I can’t recall one of these since I’ve been playing this so bravo there as well! @emanuelga

Designer suite doesn’t work for older iOS devices. Talk about p*ing on the camp fire!
Some rather fetching details here, bravo!
+1Oh my..... I have a build for this challenge. I’ll submit it but judging by the standards, it will be with much trepidation! Brilliant build!
+1Thanks again! From what I’ve read the general strength of the airframe let it down and the square windows (that were supposed to be glued and riveted, were only riveted) exacerbated the cracks. @Mustang51
Thanks buddy! @Mustang51 yeah you’ll find a lot of my stuff in that category!

+5I think this looks pretty graceful, you should enter it into the tri jet challange!
Yup, all those years ago! @Nick2007
Designer suite for iOS at last!!
+3Most definitely be entering, my early Trident needs a redux!!
Very apt first picture. Rather apt indeed!
Beautiful build of what was an ambitious project!
Great job!
Thank you @botto28 one day (when I get a better device) I will fix the short comings of this build.
Wow it’s a Mig.....
+1(Sorry, has anyone else already referenced top gun)
Ha ha, brilliant!!

Yup, I like it!
This is magnificent! Ambitious in scale and functionality too - handles like a big bird ought to bravo!

I think you need to read the rules....
@Fastwaffle233
Thought I smelt a rat.

@Mustang51
Too good to be true, a lot of these builds are other people’s work. @Mustang51
+3That’s a strong dihedral, 130 parts is impressive for the range of functions.
+1None of his other posts has been built by him.... @asteroidbook345
Thank you very much for spotlighting! @ACEPILOT109
Unfortunately not. I live too far away from all the good airfields and museum in the UK. @Mustang51

Ha ha! I have a replacement, a firebrand! I made one when I first started but it was terrible! @Mustang51
Damn and blast. I always assumed my build entered service in the late 40s. Turns out it wasn’t until the early 50s. Hmmm will have to think of something else. @Mustang51
Outstanding from a bronze level!
I actually started working on something to enter into this. Not entered a challenge for bloomin’ years.
+1Thank you very much! The tower was a little fiddly, the smoke effect was salvaged from a rocket powered build by MilesTPrower. As an iOS user I am incapable of mods. Mustang51
A little too far but I admire your enthusiasm! @MrPorg137
Having dabbled in working pistons once I doff my cap to you!
Yes! Someone made a firecrest! I had one of these on my ‘to do list’!
+1That’s some “stopping power” alright, twin barrels! I remember the twin barrelled soviet tank from red alert that had quad tank tracks I think. Absolute beast. Lovely stuff!
Good subject material and build once more!
Absolutely no worries - v much deserved! It looks great and the performance is realistic too. Such a rare type on sp, come to think of it I can’t recall one of these since I’ve been playing this so bravo there as well! @emanuelga
+1Yes yes yes! Totally up my street, thanks for pointing this out to me! @TheFantasticTyphoon
+1No problem, so close to a half century! @Zott
+1Beautiful. I know it’s massively time consuming and a pain in the arse - but you gotta reverse the lettering after mirroring.
+1Long time no see!
Interesting build!
That’s one high part count, esp for iOS!
+2Damn. One ambitious project this would have been, nicely recreated once again!
+1Good movie, good build!
Gosh that feels like a long time ago. Where were my manners, no spotlight?! @RamboJutter
