@NTH it might also be the difference in community, like im very active in the WT community which has a very large presence of transfems
That, and trans people tend to get along with other trans people who identify the same or similarly to them

@RB107 actually, more explosive doesn't mean bigger gun, it actually means more shell mass and more propellant
You can extend tf out of a 90mm round and fill it with like, idk, 50kgs of explosive filler, you just need to lengthen the round and barrel, alongside putting a lot more propellant behind it

@Supersoli8 okay, so fun fact, both physically and theoretically, FTL travel is impossible. (This is because as speed increases so does mass, and light speed sits at a point nothing but energy can travel thru as it is both infinite mass and infinite speed. If I traveled to the center of the Milky Way thru FTL travel, I wouldn't be able to see myself perform the jump for millions of years. The human body also cannot physically handle the compression and velocity required for that. Humans can only handle around 7 sustained positive Gs before their brain becomes mush.)
    ^ Nerd
I use an idea called "Fraction of Light" Travel when writing space Sci-Fi because I luuuuvveee hard Sci-Fi. In the post is a drop ship that would've came from a mothership. The drop ship itself has a drive meant to bring it to escape velocity, but the mothership is what has the ability to perform FoLT.
The Fraction I use depends on the era. In the first era, the fraction was 1/10 of the SoL, which us when Exeron would've left Earth. In the 4th era in which this is taken from, Exeron has reached 1/3rd of the SoL. So (if my mind doesn't fail me) Proxima Centauri B, the closest presumably Earth-like Exoplanet, is roughly 5.12LY away? So that's 5.12 years it takes for light to travel between it and us. At 1/2 the SoL, that becomes 10.24 years, and so on and so on.

@TateNT34 btw, if you ever want to, you can use the R-27Rs I have, I think the most recent post with them is the JS-29A
If I'm not mistaken tho, they might have an issue on launch that can be solved by just removing collisions from what's around the missile. If you do use it and need help, @ me on an unlisted post for it

  • WHY MOD?! WHYYY?!!! 3 months ago

@Cadvalto and then he got cranky when the mods had it changed, citing "It just means cigarette!"
    .
He's just an edgy child who can't care enough to read and understand the rules of SP before making posts clearly meant to be offensive.
For example, a younger British person may not know that the slang for cigarette is also a slur
However, usually people are smart enough that they realize "oh shoot, that's offensive", and don't double down on it, making posts questioning "why mods mad!" despite being told by countless people.
He then made a post of the Twin Towers to a plane site. A topic that's already seen as highly touchy, and then posting it to a site literally called "SimplePlanes"
There's no excusing his actions anymore as simply "not knowing", he's wanting a rise out of people, and we're giving it to him for no real reason

@Rob119 that stupid issue where if you have a canopy sunk into a fuselage with a detacher it would start janking the cockpit and making it move to spots it shouldn't be, and it's SP's way of completely screwint up something you just spent hours making

  • Guys! Look! A perfect circle! 3 months ago

@keiyronelleavgeek566 even then, it's highly unlikely to be possible due to various things, such as maybe a nanometer of extra whatever at one point of the circle
The Earth and Luna's orbit are imperfect, and so is the orbit of every other body in our space, whether around their planet or around Sol itself

    +1
  • Guys! Look! A perfect circle! 3 months ago

@keiyronelleavgeek566 I don't think computers can actually render true circles, in 3d modeling, circles commonly have a large number of sides, and those sides are made up of pixels that are squares, so any digitized circle is more like a minecraft circle

@Graingy the description was in German, originally where it says "meanie" the so called 'child's started crashing out at the teacher, calling them a fat bald stupid meanie
The other major reason was the name, because not many people know Swedish, and Six in Swedish is the funny word that this song is about

  • TV Guided Missiles 3 months ago

If you're wanting the missile to be guided down in conjunction with the camera, firstly that would be Laser guidance, and that'll take a bit.
For true TV guidance you'd just need to make a targeting pod and then find some way to mess with its resolution by placing schtuff around it. I'd also recommend that when building the missile, you go and look at examples of TV guided weapons, like AGM-65Bs, GBU-8s, or (IIRC) Kh-29MTs

  • EAC HGH-19 Starship 3 months ago

@Morsele the details are what makes a plane unique imo and I've been doing the inscriptions since the JSX-29E (I think) which was for a challenge
It also builds the world of Exeron a bit more, making it seem less like pure fantasyland and more like a nation designed for fiction, which is what it's supposed to be

    +1
  • EAC HGH-19 Starship 3 months ago

@Morsele I usually add more when I have fuselaged wings, I had to fight the gun to keep it working after I tried increasing its angles so I lost all my original markings sadly
They're less noticeable but on the Sleipnir it has the warning labels on the engines and intakes, and when I make "gates" for my intakes I usually add them, there also used to be a "LIVE" label on the XAIM pylons, but I removed that
