IKB-200

IKB-200 (Inter-Kontinental Bomber 200) represents the next step in strategic bombing capability for Jerry air force, designed to succeed the aging IKB-100 which, despite its historical dominance, has become increasingly vulnerable in the face of jet-powered interceptors and advanced air defense systems. IKB-200 preserves the operational philosophy and logistical familiarity of its predecessor, maintaining IKB-100's internal bomb handling and release system, known for its reliability and ease of maintenance. At the heart of the upgrade lies a fully reworked targeting suite, Zielerfassungsmodul-WX, which utilizes radar and inertial guidance to maintain bombing precision in all weather conditions and during both day and night operations.

The bomber is propelled by six Modulstrahltriebwerk M23 modular jet engines, designed for high altitude, long endurance flight and capable of future upgrades as propulsion technologies mature. Although the current version of IKB-200 does not exceed Mach 1, its modular nacelles will accommodate supersonic capable engines once available, effectively future proofing the platform. Tailless delta wing configuration not only increases internal volume for fuel but also enhances lift and aerodynamic stability at extreme altitudes. With an internal payload capacity 50% greater than IKB-100, IKB-200 is equipped for strategic saturation missions at a new level of scale and speed.

Operationally, the aircraft is designed to cruise at 70,000 feet (21,336 meters), beyond the effective range of most interceptor aircraft and surface to air missiles currently in service. Its range, extended to 15,000 kilometers, allows global strike missions without refueling. For self preservation, the aircraft features a hardened fuselage using Verbundstahl-Verkleidun, a high-density composite armor shell that allows the bomber to absorb significant damage and remain airborne, simulations indicate a requirement of multiple direct missile hits to force a loss. Its large forward radar array, Langwellen-Nasenradar X, provides early detection of airborne threats and enables the bomber to adjust course preemptively, increasing survivability in contested airspace.

To complement its unguided bomb payload, IKB-200 is equipped with Fritz-A, a manually guided early-generation precision munition derived from the Fritz-X line, designed to hit fortified targets or naval assets with accuracy dependent on operator skill. This weapon represents Jerry’s first deployment of guided air-to-ground ordnance from a strategic platform.

IKB-200 is not designed as a platform of brute power, but as a resilient, high-altitude, high-capacity instrument of strategic reach. With its balanced design of legacy compatibility and modern innovation, it reflects Jerry’s shift toward adaptable, survivable aerial deterrence in the jet era.
