You could put a flight computer on the missile and give it a variable for altitude
Not sure what to do from there, but you'll have the altitude of the missile
@TheCommentaryGuy I use the numbers from war thunder for thrust and G-load, so it's ~14000 N of thrust and 16 max G load. Since they're so heavy, they also take a long time to accelerate. Launching at as high of a speed as possible also helps give a headstart for the missile.
@Monarchii Oh this is really weird... It was working on my phone, but not my computer. But it seemed to work after I disabled my ad blocker on my browser.
For air screenshots with two aircraft in the air, load up a custom race with the desired aircraft. As soon you both get your gear up, pause the game and take your screenshot. OR you can spawn the AI in sandbox mode, try to form up on them, and hope for the best.
If you want them on the ground, first drive to the position where you want the other plane to be and save the spawn location. Then, make a version of that plane with disabled engines, landing gear, and controll surfaces. Spawn it at the location you saved and taxi over there for the screenshot.
@Speedhunter Mostly yes
I use an artificial mass block, so it makes it really easy to tweak the COM and figure out where it should be. But in the end, I add mass to the actual aircraft.
@Mousewithamachinegun122 Some of the moving parts are temporarily on the outside for easy access, so I don't have to fiddle with the camera as much I have too many bad memories of moving the camera inside an aircraft, accidently moving something I shouldn't have, and then losing progress when I undo
@ThatKindaWeeb It's gonna be Russian weapons
If the MKK was made compatible I think that would be a pretty recent development and it would probably be more appropriate for something like a J-16
@ThatKindaWeeb Google is best, but also look up model kit builders on youtube.
They show a lot more angles and closer shots
Model kit painting guides are also good
@Th3Missil3 Yeah, it does, I gave it a bit more drag so it should be a bit slower
That being said though, the full loadout doesn't affect the speed as much as the other aircraft since there's no drop tanks, just missiles.
@ThatKindaWeeb Basically:
Each engine in SP has a listed power in newtons (ex. BFE150 has 150,000 N of thrust). Divide this number by 1,000 to get that in kilonewtons (ex. 150,000 N = 150 KN).
Then get the real life engine power (ex. 75 KN) and divide it by the SP engine's power in KN (ex. 75/150=0.5). The number you get is what you should set the powerMultiplier to.
Afterburners change things a bit, but this should be good for a Meteor
@ThatKindaWeeb He, I can't fix that :)
I kinda gave up on the NF-104A since I can't find a way to make the rocket behave like a rocket. It's a jet engine in game, but because of that, it loses thrust with altitude.
I did just do some more browsing on the forums though; apparemtly more inlets might help so I'll try that
@Th3Missil3 Working on the camo and gears and then the loadouts will come after
It's not at a point where I'd want to post another sitrep quite yet
I also have some other stuff I want to release in the next sitrep
@Th3Missil3 Fixed!
Interestingly, it had to do with the hidden tiny wheel in the nosewheel, which is now removed. I sometimes have to use that since the pistons can make landing gear glitch out otherwise, but it seems like the aircraft works fine without it.
Huh. If you look at the revision history, the image was added by Wikipedia user "BilCat" (retired) on October 10th, 2023.
+1Yes officer, this one right here
+1@MonsNotTheMonster Usually Google, but this one uses a blueprint made by Baconeggs
+1I never expected this Tupolev Tu-22
+1@Th3Missil3 I don't have plans for the next aircraft at the moment

+1It was down for me too, it looks like it was a temporary outage on their end. Got me worried for a sec
+1@FineG22 Yes, they will be there some time before the F-14 release or when it releases
+1Low parts also means you can spawn more of them at the same time without lagging as much
+1@Th3Missil3 There's no plans at the moment
+1@CallsignTig The more, the merrier :)
+1If development of the Fw-190 continued, one could only imagine how much longer it would've gotten

+1@Gady13131 NWS is nosewheel steering and NWS high increases the steering angle to 90 degrees, so you can turn sharper while taxiing on a carrier deck

@Nerfaddict I'm using imgbb now, I think someone said postimage is blocked in certain countries
