F-14A Tomcat V3.0 (3)
Good news! The Tomcat body is more or less done (fuselage, landing gears, IFR, etc.)
This picture was taken before the livery was finalized.
I did make a compromise in going for the VF-2 livery with less markings to save on parts since the build is at 530 parts already.
I also ended up caving and adding glove vanes since there are actually quite a few pictures of VF-2 F-14A's with them enabled up until the late 1980's.
The next step is to start working on custom weapons and loadouts. Pictured here are some AIM-9L's. I already have a model for the AIM-7F, so I'll just be reusing that. I just need to create a model for the AIM-54C Phoenix and I'd also like to add the GBU-24 and LANTIRN targeting pod.
