@BootlegAircraft in what way? They look how you build them, if it a replica then you make parts to suit, if it's fictional you make them match the overall design, I use shrunk wings so I can keep the control surfaces smaller/thinner if that helps?
First 2 can be changed with xml. I used a run of 6.5 for a vigilante leading edge. The add section bit is because they join, I use overload to nudge the piece I'm extending up by 1 and then back down when I've finished (they only bind where they where already attached that way)
@Tang0five thanks again, I'm going to have to spend some time adding those black and yellow stripes and then a load of panel lines I think, should smarten it up further. I'm still converting the sea fury to the fury prototype version but it's taking some effort.
@PilotYuston you flying on keyboard? You can reduce the movement of the control surface to store if it helps, my 5yo was flying it on a Logitech joystick with no bother barring some autoroll. Hope this helps.
@Tang0five Thanks again, camo is just lots of panels twisted to suit, i colour the main panels where i can and just fill in the gaps. now i have a dilema, do i wait to post the seafang (and add some stripes...) or post it now.
@Tang0five well the vigilante wheels are still doing my brain cells the world of harm... If only they didn't shake, so I've moved onto the spiteful. Not the most straightforward shape either mind.
I'd love to know the answer, people vote for what they see and what takes their fancy, I've seen builds of mine which have taken a shed load of time and effort flop for no reason (cough crusader cough)
@Rodrigo110 bogdan is correct though, the point of the landing gear being just behind the c of g is so that it doesn't tip over backwards but allows for easy rotation at the correct speed, your build exacerbates the issue by having paired wheels. After saying all that, I still like the look of your build and fully understand wanting to position the wheels where you have, and as it's a game it lets you "cheat" on things like this :) if you have a look at my javelin (which is compatible due to being a delta) you can see the wheel positions, why not do a mkii version with a delta rear wing and more forward gear position for comparison?
@Tang0five well I've got a weekend away at riat with the kids so it will be next week before I start anything. I've got the vigilante 90% done but the main wheels are causing me grief.
@ChiChiWerx thanks, I do try :) I kept cog back well behind where it should be to help with landings after all 3 point landings shouldn't include the nose ;)
@ChiChiWerx about the same, its meant to have a max speed of 460ish at 18k but if i give it enough power to do that it takes off in 10ft =) My next build im going to work on that drag = false/0 on all the parts then add it at the end so i can control the power better (if i remember, old dog new tricks etc).
@Carbonfox1 @CRJ900Pilot @BroAeronautics thanks peeps, the cutlass was one of my faves when I was a kid, a friend of the family kept building rc versions :)
@YuraCat right I have just about finished building my entry, so you say no XML modding, all my builds use some shrunk sized wing panels (saves me layering them) is this acceptable?
@RailfanEthan figured it, instead of using the axis I had to use the positive and negative options (with the same axis strangely) which worked. I fly with the joystick on here so disabling it wasnt an option for me =)
@scotttheaviator1031 i build them seperate to the plane, dont use suspension or pistons as I have 0 luck with them (all ways break) and then just attach to a part that I have lowered using overload, use overload to nudge them where I want, tada.
@EternalDarkness yeah I was struggling with that, it's top speed was meant be 1200mph at 36k ft, so to achieve this I needed a powerful engine but as you say acceleration is daft, it was better with a less powerful engine but it was subsonic, is there a way to slow the power down I.e. slower throttle response? I can fit 2 engines so one for take off / flying about and one to get it supersonic. I wasn't keen on playing with weights while it was nicely set up and flying.
@CRJ900Pilot are you using custom control surfaces? If so either increase the size of the wing in the control surface or reduce the size of the wing in the tail.
@Irobert55 I'm confused, the single rockets can be used for aa if you really want, yes you have to be in ag mode but if ur close enough to use rockets you don't need to be in aa mode.
@Blue0Bull Thanks, I'm glad you like them, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Yeah I don't tend to get many votes for some reason.

What exactly are you struggling with? The mechanics or the Looks?

@jamesPLANESii to be fair I'd also forgot about it till tang0five reminded me :)
@arcues it's of a similar era but has many differences (look at the intake positions for example and fin shape)
@WarHawk95 @AstonMartin145 Thanks for the votes and comments, glad you like it.
@PilotYuston ah k sorry I didn't even consider that option :)
@PilotYuston you flying on keyboard? You can reduce the movement of the control surface to store if it helps, my 5yo was flying it on a Logitech joystick with no bother barring some autoroll. Hope this helps.
is this meant to mean something?
@Tang0five Thanks again, camo is just lots of panels twisted to suit, i colour the main panels where i can and just fill in the gaps. now i have a dilema, do i wait to post the seafang (and add some stripes...) or post it now.
@Chancey21 @ThePrototype @Datom lol it takes me a while to get round to tags (it's easier to do on my phone)
@Tang0five np, ooo a stars n stripes design eh, sounds fun.
Try my latest f8 crusader :)
@Tang0five well the vigilante wheels are still doing my brain cells the world of harm... If only they didn't shake, so I've moved onto the spiteful. Not the most straightforward shape either mind.
Do a Mohawk :)
Probably, you can change the input to Activate1 and zero on deactivate instead of throttle but you will have full power or nothing.
I'd love to know the answer, people vote for what they see and what takes their fancy, I've seen builds of mine which have taken a shed load of time and effort flop for no reason (cough crusader cough)
@Baldovino you can do it ;) 3 pieces min, it's easy man and much more flexible than stock parts.

@PlanesAndThings2 thanks, which bits did you like best? I liked the engine exhausts :)
@SimpleCreator175 @MethaManAircraft @TMach5 @Sarin thanks for the comments, glad you like it. Any suggestions for improvements?
@JustPlay lol sorry. now i want a fry up.
@AverageFishface @Mumpsy @F4f879 @RailfanEthan @ThePilotDude thanks for the comments, much appreciated.
@YuraCat cool, is there a deadline on this or a limit to entries?
@ChiChiWerx thanks, I do try :) I kept cog back well behind where it should be to help with landings after all 3 point landings shouldn't include the nose ;)

ive modified it and posted it as private back to you.
@Tang0five thanks man, whats the part count max for your tablet? Ill do a lite version if you want??
@Carbonfox1 @CRJ900Pilot @BroAeronautics thanks peeps, the cutlass was one of my faves when I was a kid, a friend of the family kept building rc versions :)
The goblin was one of my first builds, inspired me to build more. Nice job on yours :)
@YuraCat well ive posted my entry, Ill let you look at it and decide if your happy with the small bits of scaling ive done.
@YuraCat right I have just about finished building my entry, so you say no XML modding, all my builds use some shrunk sized wing panels (saves me layering them) is this acceptable?

@Tang0five yeah sorry :) I'll post you the progress later (the wing was doing my nut in)
@EternalDarkness I'll bear that in mind for a future build (I already have a couple started so will be too much to alter now.) Thanks.
@EternalDarkness do you have to do that on each part?
@EternalDarkness yeah I was struggling with that, it's top speed was meant be 1200mph at 36k ft, so to achieve this I needed a powerful engine but as you say acceleration is daft, it was better with a less powerful engine but it was subsonic, is there a way to slow the power down I.e. slower throttle response? @dogb23boy probably, and to quote blizzards normal response, "when it's ready"
@CRJ900Pilot yeah help yourself, thanks for asking
@CRJ900Pilot thanks, glad u liked it.
@yuracat I'll sort something for this tomorrow, would my recent javelin be eligible if I redid it for this?
@Sarin yeah you can Do, I did a hunter a long time ago (so not awesome) but gave a look and you can see how I did the intakes
Nice, but of work needed on the intakes still though.
@EternalDarkness @CRJ900Pilot @Treadmill103 thanks guys, glad you like it.
