Hello everybody!
This is my first tournament and I intend to do it qualitatively :)
The given tournament is devoted to jet planes of 1950-1960.
To participate you must:
-Download this plane.
-Save only a cockpit
-Build your aircraft adhering to simple rules:
1) No .xml modding
2) Only 1 or 2 Blasto J50 engines can be used.
3) It is not possible to use a controlled vector of thrust
4) Armament - only 4x WingGun
5) You can not change the size and characteristics of guns.
6) Your work must be the successor of the tournament file
All the presented works will pass through the group stage, after which the winners will go further through the tournament grid.
Dogfights will be led by artificial intelligence at a close distance
Prizes: 1st place - 20 upvotes, 2nd place - 10 upvotes, 3rd place - 5 upvotes.
All submitted works will receive 1 upvote.

@YuraCat come on dude your still posting builds bit havnt posted the results for this challenge that ended ages ago?
@RamboJutter I think he just cut and ran. I saw the post which said, “results decided,” but I never saw who won or anything. This is the second challenge where I’ve seen this happen, I’m going to carefully reconsider future participation in challenges because if the host doesn’t have the experience, resources or patience to actually make videos and post results, then forget it.

I read the comments but didnt see a answer to the ? Yet. Is it possible to allow some forms of xml editing like scaling, weight and fuel? not allowing xml really takes the fun out of building.

@Simba4999 I realize that, but I can’t bring myself to do that; there has to be a hint of realism in my creations, which means they need to be able to takeoff and land.

@ChiChiWerx it will better if you create palne without gear
@Sarin as much as you think you need. AI dogfights usually take a lot longer than in RL, however not as long as what a builder might usually equip a plane with. I go for a light fuel load to keep weight down, wing loading low and maneuverability high. Hopefully that helps my build get the kill before I flameout...but that’s all part of the challenge. As for infinite fuel should always be banned in challenges!
