@TimeTraveler the beautiful aircraft or the paint bit? ;) The paint is just lots of small panels over laid on the aircraft, just needs a lot of care when placing to avoid messing up moving surfaces. I used the mod that lets you rotate bits so they sit better with fine tuned adjustments. As for the plane I tend to do British aircraft and when no one upvotes them I turn them into the American equivalent :)
Thanks for the spotlights @RAF1 @Supermini555 @CRJ900Pilot @Blue0Bull very much appreciated, this is one of my most successful builds to date now thanks to all.
@MintLynx thanks for the praise, I've just commented on a post from cutangus to let him know I'm using his designs, they are awesome, I've got a couple more of his designs in mind as well. Glad you enjoy my builds, I seem to spend ages making them then only fly them a few times before moving onto the next one :)
@Tang0five thanks for your comments again, I wasn't so keen on the two seat one as it has a butt ugly nose for the radar but the hornet was an awesome bit of kit, takes something to be better than the mosquito. Have a read of winkle browns praise for it, apparently it could look with one engine off :)
@EternalDarkness I based it on the Malaysian maritime aircraft which was white and red, the only other option was yellow and red which was the standard scheme.
@Sarpanitu Yeah I figured that, the problem was the initial placement, it needs to stick to start with so the only option was like you said, lower pylon then attach them nudge pylon into the right place, then nudge each part of the missile into place. When I did this I got them somewhere near where I wanted but then when I went to test fire them some wouldn't release... hence I put standard missiles on that work without the hassle (but don't look as realistic)
@Sarpanitu for me the pylons won't go where I want them the game tries to mount them within the plane because it tries to attach via parts of the missile, I even tried grabbing the detached and trying to put that on a previously mounted pylon but it wouldn't go anywhere near it
@JetKwan yeah it's the way the game works, in reality the control surface movement would be exponential so control would be smoother at high speed, but hey, it's fun :)
@Tang0five Nah although I think I've stabilised it a bit (more by accident than intention), I like the Seahawk (still have the airfix kit of it my dad built me as a child) and was bored so thought some mod tweaks might be nice, split flaps/dive breaks, aerials etc. Will upload shortly
@Dimkal I saw the wing had 4 moving panels and just assumed the outer where ailerons, I'll fix it at some point :) as for the acceleration I toned it down as seemed too much. Thanks for the info though.
@TimeTraveler lol. Yeah it's big.

+1Thanks for the spotlights @RAF1 @Supermini555 @CRJ900Pilot @Blue0Bull very much appreciated, this is one of my most successful builds to date now thanks to all.
Wow, all those comments, thank you very much @johawks1976 @F104Deathtrap @ThePilotDude @CoolPeach @Mustang51 @Masterlobster @Strikefighter04
@RailfanEthan @tully2001 thanks for the spotlights, thanks everyone else for the upvotes. Glad you all liked it.
@Sgtk Thanks, it took some doing :)
+1@Valiant2017, thanks for all the upvotes, im glad you like my designs.
@Tang0five the real one out performed most fighters of the day.
@Tang0five not as long as the Bombay :)
@TheRussiansAreComing ah k enjoy your break, hope to see your design in the future.
@TheRussiansAreComing did you ever get round to building something with that ducted fan I made for you?
@MintLynx thanks for the praise, I've just commented on a post from cutangus to let him know I'm using his designs, they are awesome, I've got a couple more of his designs in mind as well. @mikoyanster lol Wot, it was designed in early 50s as per my description.

@Sgtk i just had a look, yours isnt too shabby either =) Weird plane though isnt it.
@MailboxIsMyGender help yourself, it was one of my v early designs :)
@EternalDarkness ah ok, I only knew of the two main schemes. I want to tweak bits anyway so may do a re-colour, thanks
@EternalDarkness I based it on the Malaysian maritime aircraft which was white and red, the only other option was yellow and red which was the standard scheme.
@EternalDarkness thanks, what should I have done for screenshots?
@Sarpanitu oh and mik did add some to this plane for me :) nice of him/her.
@Sarpanitu Yeah I figured that, the problem was the initial placement, it needs to stick to start with so the only option was like you said, lower pylon then attach them nudge pylon into the right place, then nudge each part of the missile into place. @Wahoo12 no I don't, might have a look now you have mentioned it though

@MailboxIsMyGender what are u on about?
@MailboxIsMyGender lol wot.
@mikoyanster do I have to use them all or just some? (they are a nightmare btw as all the addon bits mean I cant adjust postions.)
@White67 too slow? did you press 3 to jettison tanks and engage the "re-heat" (other hidden engine.
+1@Tang0five Thanks, the undercarriage was fun, what did you make of the airbrake?
@CRJ900Pilot yep, just like the sketches/drawings of it :)
Someone just deleted their upvote for this, any particular reason?
@JetKwan yeah it's the way the game works, in reality the control surface movement would be exponential so control would be smoother at high speed, but hey, it's fun :)
@laweacosmica its a russian post ww2 trainer/fighter. Google it.
@laweacosmica what is what?
@BACconcordepilot https://morsecode.scphillips.com/translator.html easy beans.
@Tang0five thanks man, I think I made the tail too small but it looked ok when I made it, I increased the angle of the wing fold as well (more magic)
+1@Tang0five I've made a modded version of this, would you mind if I post it?
First @BACconcordepilot ha.
@Dimkal I saw the wing had 4 moving panels and just assumed the outer where ailerons, I'll fix it at some point :) as for the acceleration I toned it down as seemed too much. Thanks for the info though.
@Tully2001 Thanks, glad you liked it.
+1@Tang0five just add a wing panel into or onto a part, I use those 0.2 scale winglets hidden in decorative panels, looks and function.
+1@Tang0five I wondered what you where building, seemed a while since your last post :) awesome build as always.
+1Not a dig but do you ever build your own planes or just mod other people's? Just curious? ;)
@BaconRoll @Akali @CoolPeach @EternalDarkness Thanks for the comments, glad you liked the scheme.
@BACconcordepilot in future I'll comment on mine as soon as I post, then you will have loads of variations of second to choose from :)
@BACconcordepilot I had to work that out...
@BogdanX thanks.
@tacet I would have put exhausts and the like on but I had 1100+ parts already and my poor pc wasn't happy.
@TheRussiansAreComing no problem, is it what you where after?
@TheRussiansAreComing, here you go.
