@F104Deathtrap I just eyeball the drawing, most of the time I'm within a few feet but I work with drawings everyday so mby it's easier for me. Wiki tends to have width and lengths which give you the extremes, the rest is just about proportion :)
@DepressedTortoise @Sarin @Gravity @mikoyanster @BaconRoll @AircroftDesigin @ErvenDynamics thanks for the comments, god save the queen and all that, haw haw. Glad you liked it, the Jack was a pain :)
@DepressedTortoise well thats silly, sorry didnt realise. if you post the two as not public and tag me ill have a go at copying the colour over for you if that helps?
or you could download the colour editer mod, see what the colour settings where for the chrome part and then put them on your bars for the truck. https://imgur.com/WCoEB7D
@RondenKiagre I meant externally, have a look at the generated side view then compare that to other aircraft. I only tend to use a custom crafted cockpit to suit each build, if you can scale yours down you can place it in a better location maybe? It just seems a shame to spoil the looks for something so insignificant
@F104Deathtrap I'll go through the settings again, I'm happy with the vigi up to the rear bit, I just can't do the detaching tail cone justice due to the really awkward shape...
@BootlegAircraft in what way? They look how you build them, if it a replica then you make parts to suit, if it's fictional you make them match the overall design, I use shrunk wings so I can keep the control surfaces smaller/thinner if that helps?
First 2 can be changed with xml. I used a run of 6.5 for a vigilante leading edge. The add section bit is because they join, I use overload to nudge the piece I'm extending up by 1 and then back down when I've finished (they only bind where they where already attached that way)
@Tang0five thanks again, I'm going to have to spend some time adding those black and yellow stripes and then a load of panel lines I think, should smarten it up further. I'm still converting the sea fury to the fury prototype version but it's taking some effort.
@PilotYuston you flying on keyboard? You can reduce the movement of the control surface to store if it helps, my 5yo was flying it on a Logitech joystick with no bother barring some autoroll. Hope this helps.
Aw man that's your best yet looks awesome, I'll download it later to fly about. I found this while browsing new and it was way better than the others.
+2@YuraCat when are you planning on announcing the results?
@DepressedTortoise cool I'll give that a go try this
@DepressedTortoise noob question but how do you do links like that?
and use finetuner to move stuff.
@AnelGaming ah quite the contrary, your device is too laggy for this awesome aircraft =) sorry try one of the previous lower part count builds mby.
+1@ProcessedPlAnEs how did you upvote that quickly? I hadnt even got on the website to tag it yet... :)
@F104Deathtrap lol it makes me want to rebuild mine...
+2@F104Deathtrap oops ive just noticed your comment, sorry, ive published it anyway.
@Minecraftpoweer @randomusername you where actually right, thanks.

@RAF1 np, tsr2 always deserves an upvote
@CRJ900Pilot sweet.
I've posted a 3x3 ducted fan before, if that's any good you could scale it down? https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/KnTvBr/3x3x1-25-ducted-fan
@Tang0five woot someone notices the exhaust lights ;) I've put them on loads of piston engines before and your the first one to comment, thanks again
+1By the way if you set zerotodeactivate to true on the hyperspeed engine it will turn off when you press the button again :) brill job though.
+1Looks nice.
@F104Deathtrap I saw the title of this and clicked on it just to tag you only to see you where already commenting :)
About 15mins for some noob re-colour with 20 more guns...
+3Is it a colour? I say green.
@StallFlight ah k, my biggy was uploaded earlier this was just a side project so may I should have done it in the other order... :p
@bjac0 @Mumpsy thanks guys
@Tang0five i just had to google the stripes, yes they are from Suez, changed colour after Korea, nice change from the usual d-day stripes.
@StallFlight lol no, is there a prime time?
@Gravity seriously? I've been doing that since I started on here... oops.
@JQ Thanks, a bit of practise (with time and patience) is all it takes. Hope you stick with it, feel free to dismantle any of my builds if it helps.
@DepressedTortoise @Sarin @Gravity @mikoyanster @BaconRoll @AircroftDesigin @ErvenDynamics thanks for the comments, god save the queen and all that, haw haw. Glad you liked it, the Jack was a pain :)
+1Make a simple plane, dare you ;)
@DepressedTortoise ive tagged you in 2 unpublic posts with fixes for your colour and suspension.

This irritates me, when you publish it tells you both, when you build everything is in ft...
@Shaoum no worries, we all start at the beginning ;)

Looks cool but that cockpit needs some work
Not bad, it's always worth while using all 3 screenshots though

@Awsomur Mr garrison obv saw your post and thought, "damn I'll have to tell the community more about sr2 and it's all that awsomurs fault..."
And the post directly after this was a sr2 update :)
@Blue0Bull Thanks, I'm glad you like them, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Yeah I don't tend to get many votes for some reason.
In before deathtrap :) find one someone else has built, take it to bits to see how they did it, replicate in your own style. Easy.

What exactly are you struggling with? The mechanics or the Looks?
@Tang0five thanks again, I'm going to have to spend some time adding those black and yellow stripes and then a load of panel lines I think, should smarten it up further. I'm still converting the sea fury to the fury prototype version but it's taking some effort.
@jamesPLANESii to be fair I'd also forgot about it till tang0five reminded me :)
@arcues it's of a similar era but has many differences (look at the intake positions for example and fin shape)
@WarHawk95 @AstonMartin145 Thanks for the votes and comments, glad you like it.
@PilotYuston ah k sorry I didn't even consider that option :)
@PilotYuston you flying on keyboard? You can reduce the movement of the control surface to store if it helps, my 5yo was flying it on a Logitech joystick with no bother barring some autoroll. Hope this helps.
