@Tang0five yeah that second set of rotators was necessary, i was just going to disable the retract mechanism so it was like the real spitfire on floats, but i thought this was querky and feasible so i just roated them a bit like the wingtip floats on the saunders roe fighter did in real life.
@Tang0five thanks, at last some comments that make sense =) Ive just got a new PC so no sub assemblies yet (my backup from win 7 wouldnt load on win 10....) Be warned though, i like these floats so they may make a further appearance.
@wnp78 awesome mod, stupid question as follows, i have a new pc (wahoo) and thus a new install of your mods, now when i load overload it literally fills the screen and thus i cant see what im doing, how to i scale overload down?
@WarHawk95 as far as i can gather, this design pre-dates tsr2 but may have been a competing design or design to an earlier spec (obv without the bits I made up)
@LegnaK sorry I just realised how much gibberish my last post was. I meant having the wheels so far back would affect how it rotated on take off I.e. how long it would take before you could get the nose up and how smoothly that would also be. I had to split the bomb bay on a few of my builds to get the wheel position right.
@ThePrototype 8@Carbonfox1 @Tang0five Thanks guys, I wasn't massively keen on the final looks but I was mainly interested in proof of concept and mechanics, thinking of adapting the tech to a supersonic bomber now :)
@Dimkal it looks good, im starting to think i should spend more time on each build but i just dont know where i would spend it (plus i get bored easily), this one was done in a few days and the part count is still higher than i was aiming for.
@EternalDarkness fair enough, they do have and have had some awesome aircraft from other countries though painted in their own styles: historic aircraft and current. Only time ive seen a Crusader or Phantom still airworthy and on a static park they where Greek, I doubt Serbia has had half of the aircraft Greece has had =) And heres a photo i took of their current display team Zeus sorry about the size, they where quite far away.
@atgxtg the angle they pitch is unrealistic, reduce it by 10degrees and thus problem reduced or resolved. Alternatively use custom surfaces with rotator and v small wings in them (this allows large movement but small effect)
@AWESOMENESS360 lol how can you not know? Saying that warhammer 40k chaos gate was a game I spent my teenage years playing hence I knew of it. The bottom bit is from the game, the top bit I made up based on some imperial designs (again from wh), that poor bridge doesn't stand a chance against those shells ;(
You forgot the bit about the aircraft being recreated I.e subject matter, you can make a massively detailed and well represented aircraft but if no one likes the original aircraft your build is doomed to fail. Cough gloster javelin cough.

@Mustang51 Small-Brown-Dog, the guy who draws up these aircraft (that i then put into SP). here

@Mustang51 thanks, sbd has been doing some airfix artwork recently :) if only they notice.
@WNP78 Thanks, I'll give it a go.

+1Those rear wheels should be further forward :)
+1@WarHawk95 as far as i can gather, this design pre-dates tsr2 but may have been a competing design or design to an earlier spec (obv without the bits I made up)
You need to use discord for pics instead of crappy imgur.
@F104Deathtrap Thanks, I'm still struggling to get votes for builds like this, the original one only got 40 odd but nvm. Thanks again for your support
All this for only 223 parts.. Wow.
awesome man, but you deffo need to change one of the bombs for the toilet, I nearly built a skyraider just for that one photo. here
Awesome man, now get those logos put on :)
+2@LegnaK sorry I just realised how much gibberish my last post was. I meant having the wheels so far back would affect how it rotated on take off I.e. how long it would take before you could get the nose up and how smoothly that would also be. Looks good bit I can't help thinking that those rear wheels are way too far rear wards and rotation. On take off will be affected.
+1@CRJ900Pilot all my builds have shrunk wings in them, just dl one and take it appart
I made my hurricane float on the wheel bay doors by editing the buoyancy in xml. Made it look like the wheels where causing it to float
Not that I've figured out, I add it to the axle the wheel connects to
@8bitgamer33 it's trimmed for landing and has a trim tab for everything else.
@ThePrototype 8@Carbonfox1 @Tang0five Thanks guys, I wasn't massively keen on the final looks but I was mainly interested in proof of concept and mechanics, thinking of adapting the tech to a supersonic bomber now :)
Looks great as always.
@freedompilot98 yeah no probs.
Nose looks a bit stumpy and a few decals wouldn't hurt but barring that v nice attempt.
@Anawin094 just using maths and rotating parts.
@ThomasRoderick nah doesn't work as you can still fire before they fully open thus still not idiot proof. I'd rather keep them separate.
@DeathStalker627 I wouldn't be surprised, he hasn't posted much for a while though..
@F104Deathtrap @CRJ900Pilot thanks :)

@Dimkal done, ty.
+1@MOPCKOEDNISHE ive used them now on this awesome mod, pity about the inability to mirror but i got there =)

+1@EternalDarkness there doesnt appear to be tags for France or Greece, is it worth adding one? Also a Warhammer tag would be nice =)
+1@FastDan ill have to delete 1 part now =)
+1@Jacksonian07 always handy to be able to outrun incoming missiles :)
Plastic kits? If so I also have a few built.
@atgxtg the angle they pitch is unrealistic, reduce it by 10degrees and thus problem reduced or resolved. Alternatively use custom surfaces with rotator and v small wings in them (this allows large movement but small effect)
You can fine tune amount of control surface movement
Looks nice but the gloss paint spoils it for me.
+3@AWESOMENESS360 lol how can you not know? Saying that warhammer 40k chaos gate was a game I spent my teenage years playing hence I knew of it. Yay, tag me on release please
@Spitfirelad05 red i think, the other has a boom in it which you can see sticking out the front.
Some one said no on my forum post, oh wait it was you :) come on its the first time I've asked and i was only asking due to load times.
@Spitfirelad05 thanks, poor tiny...
@Tang0five I was actually building plastic kits for a change :)
+1You forgot the bit about the aircraft being recreated I.e subject matter, you can make a massively detailed and well represented aircraft but if no one likes the original aircraft your build is doomed to fail. Cough gloster javelin cough.
Lol I've made one, it's from a guy on deviant art. Here and here's the link to his artwork, it's always worth crediting the artist.
Let me guess, you used imgur for the pics? They don't work.
@AdlerSteiner see photo attached where they didnt exist
thanks everyone, glad you liked it.
+1@logizAircrafts I did the Vietnam scheme canberra, have a look.
