    @horatio try this, might be more mobile friendly

  • Flying boat SR Vulture MkII 6.9 6.6 years ago

    @Tank6376 i wish water rudders worked with the physics of the game and then it would turn in the water.

  • Saunders Roe Rocket Interceptor MkIV 9.7 6.6 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Saunders roe played with the concept of a land based rocket fighter post war but used a small jet engine for recovery to base. They would definitely be a hit and run concept but that's what was deemed best for bomber interception at the time hence the late war German aircraft types (me163, natter etc.)

  • Saunders Roe Rocket Interceptor MkIV 9.7 6.6 years ago

    @CRJ900Pilot help yourself, do you want me to send you them templates so you don't need to mess about detaching them?

  • Bomb rack (12 boom 25s) 6.6 years ago

    @LiamW good idea, have fun.i was thinking of mounting it on a flying wing

  • Short Hartlepool MkI 5.9 6.6 years ago

    @Blue0Bull thanks, glad you like my builds, thanks again for the upvotes (I'm enjoying the old flying boat genre at present so may be more to come)

  • Short Hartlepool MkI 5.9 6.6 years ago

    @xXRaindropXx I can try, what part count can peasants cope with?

  • Teaser (Sort of) 6.6 years ago

    @AdlerSteiner the roundel wouldn't count as a letter so really it's wam! Which is the noise you get when those multitudes of bombs hit the floor :)

  • Bomb rack (12 boom 25s) 6.6 years ago

    @The1Big1Finger1111 @Zoomzoom999 the hinge is for you to attach to your plane, if used correctly it opens the bay to 20 degrees ready to drop the bombs. The chutes allow you to be lower than normal when dropping the bombs as it slows the fall of the bombs and thus increases the distance from you to the explosion.

    @Stingray thanks :)

  • SIK industries Malaki mk1 6.6 years ago

    As man, looks nice until I see the wheel placement, rear wheels are meant to be just behind the centre of mass.

  • PF-4A Wyvern 6.6 years ago

    Looks nice, like a mix between a hawk and an l39. Not sure about undercarriage arrangement though, would be nicer with a nose wheel instead of a tail dragger.

    Why only 2 pics?

  • VTOLSphazerRex V1 6.6 years ago

    Looks good but the weird colour scheme makes it hard to see in the pics.

  • Teaser (Sort of) 6.6 years ago

    @QuickNils yeah I'm enjoying them at present.

  • Short Hartlepool MkI 5.9 6.6 years ago

    @Stingray yeah I thought about that and surface mounting under wings but I like the bomb idea as otherwise the fus was a big empty shell. The real Sunderland had depth charges on retractable side racks which gave me the idea

  • Short Hartlepool MkI 5.9 6.6 years ago

    @EternalDarkness :( I can delete the camo n some other bits but can't reduce part count by much. Only scaled bits are wing panels and a few rotators.

  • Short Hartlepool MkI 5.9 6.6 years ago

    @Treadmill103 thanks, i hope you enjoy it, it flies really nice in my opinion, ive just been cruising around in in =)

  • Flying boat SR Vulture MkII 6.9 6.6 years ago

    @FranticMatty you might like this one (lots of moving bits :) )

  • Avro Venator B Mk IV 3.7 6.6 years ago

    @regularpit oh ok. Mby it wasn't different enough to meet the rules

  • Flying boat SR Vulture MkII 6.9 6.6 years ago

    @MethaManAircraft thanks :) might get 20 votes for this one... :(

  • Flying boat SR Vulture MkII 6.9 6.6 years ago

    @Snape93 it's just sensitive on rudder, float needs to be retracted for land take off as well.

  • Flying boat SR Vulture MkII 6.9 6.6 years ago

    @Snape93 on the water or land?

  • Avro Venator B Mk IV 3.7 6.6 years ago

    @regularpit what do you mean?

  • Grammar police pls stop 6.6 years ago

    @jamesPLANESii Some people just do not appreciate the importance of correct grammar or spelling. If we didnt help them just think of the long term affect on the English language, we would devolve into nothing but groups of illiterate mobile apes.

  • Supermarine Seafang F.MK.33 seaplane 1.4 6.6 years ago

    @Sarpanitu yeah the seafang was an evolution of the spitfire for naval operations (carrier based) and yes they put floats on a early mark spitfire (probably slowed it a lot) I just combined the two :)

  • Supermarine Seafang F.MK.33 seaplane 1.4 6.6 years ago

    @Sarpanitu thanks :) I based a lot of it from the real life spitfire on floats here which as you can see maintained the radiator inlets under the wing / chin.

    @AWESOMENESS360 no worries, enjoy :)

  • Supermarine Type 310 flying boat (s-b-d)3.4 6.6 years ago

    @Othawne he is v creative, he came up with the original design I just keep altering it with my own inspiration.

  • Supermarine Spirit (SBD design) 3.5 6.6 years ago

    @AWESOMENESS360 you mean like this

  • Yakovlev Yak-38 6.6 years ago

    Looks good from what I can see bit it's always worthwhile using your 3 screenshots / pictures. It wheels should also be further forward I.e. just behind cog/com

  • Simpleplanes feels dead now 6.6 years ago

    Aw man that's not true. I'm still building and posting regular and people keep upvoting (granted not as many as they used to) but it's still alive n kicking

  • Flying wings 6.6 years ago

    i used some shrunk wings as stabilisers as per what tully said below, in essence they act like v large fins without being massive. download one of my builds and nick the small wing (scaled to 0.2 of a normal wing) it will let you alter its size like normal)

  • I have a slight problem and need help 6.6 years ago

    mine worked when i put some words in the comments box, when it was blank it didnt work, (might just be a coincidence) otherwise it worked on the third attempt yesterday and first today.

  • Aircraft 59 Mk4 6.6 years ago

    @Tang0five not bad at all, I'll dl it when I get back to my of tomorrow . Why use a gyro though?

  • SBD Hawker Hound MK1 2.9 6.6 years ago

    @Mustang51 yeah you thought the same as me, but I understand his view as well. Tangy put a few reasoned comments over and he was nice enough once he realised I had told him but yeah they are a compliment to his designs and I've been careful to credit him with the designs.

  • SBD Hawker Hound MK1 2.9 6.6 years ago

    @Mustang51 hes rippedoffdog but i dont think he uses it, i tried messaging about a few builds not so long ago.

  • Supermarine Spirit (SBD design) 3.5 6.6 years ago

    @Mustang51 ps rippedoffdog below is Small-Brown-Dog, he deleted most of the comments he made but if you read the below you can get the gist of his concern about using his designs (i had told him fortunately so it ended amicably enough)

    @Mustang51 thanks, i altered it recently here and i think i improved on it anyway.

  • SBD Hawker Hound MK1 2.9 6.6 years ago

    @Mustang51 no worries, i would point out that he likes to be asked if someone is to replicate one of his designs (i found out the hard way...)
