Greetings. Sorry to say that, but that issue with wings has gone further: now SDBs are cease to unfold their wings at any speed. Can you conduct some test-firing of them please? Maybe on your computer they work without a scratch? They are best SDBs out there.

Hmm, i think the size is incorrect. It might be tolerable when all the weaponry is meant to be mounted externally, but when with an aircraft like this one, it becomes harder to fit/replace weaponry inside it's internal bays when their size is much smaller then it has to be. Do you use blueprints? I might sound rude, but your fighter builds tend to be noticeably undersized. I apologise in advance if my comment accidentally offended you.

@MOPCKOEDNISHE Of course I am PC only.

  • Area 51 GIS 4.3 years ago

    What are the system requirements?

  • Mouse Control 4.3 years ago

@MOPCKOEDNISHE Also, your turret control mode needs updates, and i found some bug with it: I make a downwards facing turret following yoyr description, and initially it works good. But when i manage to move some part at 0.1-0.2 using finetuner, it just ceases to work. When I look closer, i see a horizontal rotator spinning, yet the tower does not spin along with rotator. All the collisions are disabled, and connections are checked. Also, it seems random: I have complex multi-part steerable cannon pod with this mod, and it rotates/steers flawlessly, no matter where i slap it and how much i move the parts with overload. When i just replace cannons with single minigun, it just ceases to rotate. Maybe i should share them as unlisted and give a link to you?

  • Mouse Control 4.3 years ago

Seems like it also requires a relatively powerful computer that is capable of maintaining perfect and constant FPS rate, without even slightest freezes. In my case it easily breaks not only default camera, but it's own camera as well. Even the slightest FPS freeze causes monstrous jittering with range of70-90 degrees. I just tested it with BogdanX's A-10 Warthog, which have 400-500 parts dependent of payload.

  • Mouse Control 4.3 years ago

At what speed it begins jittering?

  • AH-01 4.3 years ago

Greetings, i've made a fixed and refined version of your helicopter. Instad of those hard-to-aim 50mm cannons, It has modded, mouse controlled cannon tower with 2x25mm cannons, and you can shoot them with literally pinpoint precision. The tower looks realistically sized. Also it has gyroscopic suite which provides greater stability without compromising maneurability and three small jets hidden in the exhaust vanes and center fuselage for better forward/backward speed.
I ask you to make some final adjustments to this and publish this machine by your own account because of some reasons: 1-you're the author; 2-it seems like you're better at making screenshots; 3-my own laptop is very old and frail. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/5o18kk/AH-01-fixed-and-refined

Magnificent weaponry you're making there... I wonder how much time you've actually spent playing simpleplanes? Judging by high quality of your builds it seems that you have atleast a half-year experience.

  • Su-34 4.3 years ago

What if i'll try to change the construction of this aircraft to make a realistic weight numbers(22 metric tons empty, 35-40 tons gross, 45 tons MTOW) without compromising its flying characteristics? Will i face any serious challenges while doing so?

  • Earth and Moon 2020 4.4 years ago

@Destiny2020 Good thing you made there. I've seen a space mod on this site, but it's disappeared.
Also, i have some criticism for it: it would be better as a plugin for default map, adding some space darkness and atmospheric tweaks over the 20km altitude, and the moon isn't necessary. Also, is it possible to make your earth multiple times bigger and with weaker gravitation? Maybe try to cooperate with Kenneth whom you can see in your comments?

  • Earth and Moon 2020 4.4 years ago

@Firecat21 Albeit your point is justified, i have to disagree. Simplerockets 2 is still in it's juvenile state compared to Simpleplanes, thus requires several more years of further testing and refinement to get on the same level with SP and eventually best it. Also, there are users with, uhmm... very tight pockets, and SR2 is several times more expensive to buy, compared to it's older cousin.

Hmmm, i guess it isn't mirror friendly because of rotating ends of wing rotators being attached to the higher and smaller end of detacher?
Edit: Yep, i guessed it right. I met the same problem: the mirror tool doesn't want to recognize this kind of connection at all.

Still rather usable thing to fire some guided munitions at inanimate objects such as those bridges at Krakabloa.
Also, considering some modern trends in development of said guided munitions, the "persistent" mode is actually more realistic one.

@Bernkastel So maybe you should consider to make an initially heavy-weight VTOL fighter-bomber of 35-45 metric ton MTOW, like hybrid of Yak-141 and Su-24/FB-111? Imagine it carrying 25-30 OFAB-100-120 bombs, along with two pairs of Kh-29/Kh-38 missiles...

Is there any restrictions on payload weight? Is it permitted to slap multiple bombs/missiles on a single hardpoint, like there?https://www.defenseworld.net/uploads//news/big/brimstone_1522227623.jpg
    https://bulgarianmilitary.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Hermes-missile-system-destroys-tanks-at-a-distance-of-up-to-100-km-the-Russians-claim.jpg
And does it still counts as a single hardpoint out of 11 available? What if instead of 30mm, I'll use the more precise estimation, namely the 30.48mm, which is exactly 1.2 inch?

  • Max Weapon Set 4.5 years ago

Sorry, but the size dimensions of Kh-29 seem incorrect - in your pack it has approximately 2.5-3 meters in length and is significantly shorter than R-77 with it's 3.6 meters. IRL the Kh-29 is much larger, having 3.9 meters in length.

@Archanis I'm on Windows 10 PC. Your advice did not help at all, the 1.10.104 is still never loads aircraft past 0%. More so, your suggestion seems rather naive, because "open with" and "grab'n'drag" are essentially the same.
