@JakeTheDogg No. It's closer to a conventional tank gun in function.
It controls the burning of the propellant in order to maximize the power of said propellant via detonation of plasma cartridge.
A railgun is a distinctly different weapon where the projectile sits in sabots between two metal "rails" and when a current is run, creates enough force to eject said projectile and sabots out the muzzle.
A coilgun relies on electromagnetic coils in front of a magnetically-influenced projectile to propel it forward. With proper timing, the coils with a charge and therefore electromagnetic attraction will be in front of the said projectile.
@JakeTheDogg Electrothermal-Chemical guns. Basically controls the burn rate of propellants in order to make it more efficient. Because the Rheinmetall 120mm L/55 and the American M829 "Silver Bullet" is actually a stopgap measure.
@DankDorito @PINK @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation If you think about it, everyone has called everyone else's tank a pile of scrap metal at one point in time.
Well, you did try pick fights with people that you had no chance of winning against (Caliphate of Awwam, Paternian Republic, Organization of Northern Soviet Republics, and the Eurasian Socialist Republic, which is two superpowers and two regional powers). And we did convince Awwam to get involved despite the fact they had every right to be so, and I tried to negotiate a peaceful resolution before you tried to nuke the ESR and UNSR, which pissed off the one major, relevant supporter (me) and so we wrecked your nation for shooting at my allies.
It's all politics, really. More powerful nations will not be afraid to use its influence, whether it be economic, political, or military, to influence other, smaller nations. I am no different from other nations.
It's just that I prefer to levy the power of the dollar and dialogue over the power of the tank.
I have seen many of your builds, and they are indeed of a very high standard, especially for someone who has joined a month ago.
My suggestion is to see how others build their stuff. Take the techniques you like from each one, and integrate them into your designs. It will give it a unique flavor that will distinguish your builds from others.
Also do not be afraid to improve upon your older creations. Doing so will allow you to see just how far you have gone. In fact, this particular aircraft is merely the product of a gradual evolution of the first airplane I uploaded to the site. It's a model of the P-47 Thunderbolt (a very basic one at that), which was soon turned into the Pummeler Attack. Three generations and dozens of variants later, we have what you see here.
Likewise, don't be afraid to build something new. Who knows? It may be the next big thing.
Finally, build a story around your vehicles, whether it be a plane, tank, or ship. It provides a certain depth that transcends the airframe, and gives it more meaning than the pixels otherwise suggest. I see that you have already done this, to an extent. The easiest way to do this is to integrate it in a roleplay, or RP for short.
@Himynameiswalrus Okay.
But 125mm is a Russian, not American, caliber.
Nice tank! But can you get it to use the 120mm Coilgun M5A7/A8 instead? It's a more powerful gun.
Normally I would say yes, but the Antarctic Republic needs a leader. @ErvenDynamics
@SimpleTechAndResearch To each their own.
@SimpleTechAndResearch I would normally say yes, but there are other nations that need leaders and members, so I must decline that request.
I want to avoid the pre-Paternia C&C Awwam with a dozen members because it was on the top of the list.
Likewise, I want to avoid what happened in the earlier WWIV RP where everyone became allies with Paternia.
On the other hand, Oceania needs a leader, and I think it could use you.
Lol @ShrikeParamilitaryForces
@DankDorito Okay.
@PINK You have a new member.
@DankDorito @Supermini555 @exosuit
@FlipposMC sorry about not adding Greece.
But as you are half Deutsch, I suppose the Teuton Empire shall do.
@TemDesBur Although I'm not sure if Flippos doesn't mind being a part of Germany.
@TemDesBur Only seven factions.
@Himynameiswalrus I suppose.
@GluonicGaming Remember this? It's BACK!
@TemDesBur @FlipposMC @JakeTheDogg
@TheBroadside Pick a communist faction and find a way to invade Australia.
@PINK Fine.
@TheBroadside This is the tank it was based off of.
Yes. @TemDesBur
Cool!
lol @Gmanndo1000
Whoops for the oversight. I linked the clamps to LandingGear because VTOL and Trim were used for tank controls. @Geekpride
@GoldenEagle Can I be made leader of the NAA?
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Did you or anyone else a part of Awwam make any bridge-laying vehicles?
What I'm thinking after seeing this.
So let's say your army needs to cross a river, but the bridge across it was destroyed. What do you do? @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Probably more useful in an army. @Gmanndo1000
@Gmanndo1000 There's a glut of F-7 Vipers and F-8 Cobras. We built thousands.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation ?
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Do you have any made?
No?
It only counts if you've made them. If you have and I didn't see it because Awwam was made up of at least a dozen or two people, link me please.

Not anymore. @JakeTheDogg

It's under development now. Tech is quite mature.
@JakeTheDogg Here's something our army can do that yours cannot: instant bridge construction.
@TemDesBur Thanks!
@GoldenEagle @PINK @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation The first armored bridgelaying vehicle in SP!
@DankDorito @PINK @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation If you think about it, everyone has called everyone else's tank a pile of scrap metal at one point in time.

Cool! We start in 2020, where I shall now convert all coilguns as conventional ETC guns because awesomeness!
@ShrikeParamilitaryForces No problem.
And remember, conduct yourself in an honorabru way.
@ShrikeParamilitaryForces Sure!
