    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Let's call it dated.

    The main reason why we are replacing the Pummeler is because it uses the T2000 engine, which no other airplane in our inventory uses, it uses taildragger than tricycle landing gear, and a lot of the fleet is aging.

    Not that we haven't tried to remedy the issues. T3000 engines have been tested experimentally and were successful, but it was deemed not worth the cost of converting the rest of the fleet. The Kilo Pummeler uses tricycle landing gear, but the narrow track makes it less suited to rough fields that the taildragger-geared India could easily use. And we've continued to build the Pummeler (and still do), although on a lesser scale. Older aircraft also received numerous refurbishments.

    The Paternian Air Force does record several instances where they encountered "rogue" Pummelers with contradictory markings regarding the unit origin or of a particular unit that was not flying in the area that day. It is believed that some Paternian Air Force Pummelers were retained in their original markings and used to infiltrate Paternian Air Force Pummeler formations in order to report their positions and altitudes.

    The practice was initially successful, but soon developed and established procedures to warn off, and then shoot down, "strangers" attempting to join the formation. The "wild card" aircraft of the flights were responsible for this task.

    It seems the type has also been used in liaison and reconnaissance roles, of course painted in full Awwami Air Force colors. A report from your TF6 noted the following:

    "On [Date Redacted], we have mounted a raid on [Redacted] Valley, near the town of [Redacted] in Turkey. The raid was highly successful, and yielded great intelligence. However, our most interesting find was a two-seat Pummeler of the Echo variant. The type was in full Awwami markings, and there was no indication that it was painted on recently. It seems to have been constructed from the parts of two different airframes near Pakistan."

    @Liquidfox Thanks!

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation lol didn't you call the Pummeler a "pile of junk?"

  • Bandit M24 Ontos II 8.8 years ago

    @Himynameiswalrus Yeah.

    But this thing can fire six back.

  • LSWS-1 Compact rifle 8.8 years ago

    Nice folding stock. MP-40/AKMS type?

  • MO-13 "Sand Viper" 8.8 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Fine...

    But when we want a tank that can operate in a desert, we just get a tank and put it in the desert. And add some sand filters and air conditioning.

  • MO-13 "Sand Viper" 8.8 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Gallium is what people use for alloys with LOW melting points.

    Usually, metals with higher melting points, such as uranium, steel, titanium, and tungsten, are used for armor.

  • MO-13 "Sand Viper" 8.8 years ago

    Gallium? You realize the melting point of Gallium is slightly under 30 C?

    Room temperature is 20 C, and the Sahara desert is often OVER 30 C?

  • Heavy Duty Transporter + AA Radar and Turret XC-HDT-5 8.8 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation That would be interesting and awesome!

    If your phone can handle it.

    Of course, my computer can. But can your Android lift?

  • DA A-9A/T-5A Angel 8.8 years ago

  • DA A-9A/T-5A Angel 8.8 years ago

    @XxcreedexX Nice!

  • Heavy Duty Transporter + AA Radar and Turret XC-HDT-5 8.8 years ago

    Looks cool! However...

    1) The rear radar should be able to traverse and elevate as fast as the guns.
    2) Add a limit to traverse in order to prevent the operator from shooting off the radar dish in the heat of battle.
    3) Put a camera that is coaxial with the gun so we can aim them.
    4) Move the engine controls to either Pitch, VTOL, or Trim in order to allow reversing.

    About P$20K each.

    So P$20T@Gmanndo1000

  • DMR (M4) 8.8 years ago

    Cool design, but I think the M16 is more suitable as it already has a long barrel.

  • Scorpion Light Tank M4A2(90) Parachute Contest 8.8 years ago

    @Reaper9 Yes, and no.

  • Bandit M24 Ontos II 8.8 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation True.

    But do they have six cannons?

  • Bandit M24 Ontos II 8.8 years ago

    A tank destroyer. With six 106mm recoulless rifles. @PyrusEnderhunter

  • Bandit M24 Ontos II 8.8 years ago

    The Suyfan is a 40-ton main battle tank. This is a 9-ton assault gun or tank destroyer, depending on what it's being used for. You are comparing two very, very, different machines, designed to accomplish different things.

    In a direct confrontation with a modern MBT, it will probably lose. But it was not designed for that. It was designed to ambush main battle tanks, where victory is far more certain. It was also designed with the ground pressure of a man on a pair of skis. It can easily cross ground that would hinder the movement of an unencumbered man.

    Now a more sensible comparison is the M6A4 UPS AUTO TUCK II Ardent. And if you ask anyone who operated Paternian and Awwami equipment, they will say that the M6A4 UPS is a superior machine. For one, it has a coaxial machine gun. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • Bandit M24 Ontos II 8.8 years ago

    We considered an autoloading system, but decided otherwise due to weight and complexity issues. @JakeTheDogg

  • Bandit M24 Ontos II 8.8 years ago

    Well, the vehicle retreats behind cover before reloading the system. Apparently, this type of system seems to work fine, given the success of the Ontos in Vietnam. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

    @Liquidfox Thanks!

  • HVT-1 Elephant 8.8 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation The gun truck you asked for.

  • Vector Alpha 8.9 years ago

    @DeltaFlyer112 lol

  • IAF F-12MKI 8.9 years ago

    Want more Paternian equipment? The M6A4 UPS is a perfectly suitable tank. Cheap, reliable, and powerful. 50 tons of Paternian steel, ceramic, and plastoid tile allow it to withstand hits from larger-caliber guns. Top speed of 55 mph and a power-weight ratio of 24 hp/ton make it a very mobile tank. And it has the equivalent frontal armor of a Victoria M5A5.

    As sold by us, it comes with a 120mm M5A7 coilgun capable of knocking out any tank within 1 kilometer from the front, including the Victoria A5. The cannon can be loaded either manually or automatically. It also includes the Sentry RCWS and Trapshooter APS to defend against infantry and missiles, respectively.

    But if you think you can fit better guns and systems to the Ardent, it can accept it. Guns as large as the 155mm M8, the 132mm KOR-AUT, and the 145mm SG3 have all been fitted to it.

    All for a fifth of the price of the Victoria.

  • American Stealth Tank 8.9 years ago

    @Himynameiswalrus Forgot to mention that 45mm isn't an American caliber.

    30mm or 57mm is more like it.

  • American Stealth Tank 8.9 years ago

    @Himynameiswalrus Okay.

    But 125mm is a Russian, not American, caliber.

  • American Stealth Tank 8.9 years ago

    Nice tank! But can you get it to use the 120mm Coilgun M5A7/A8 instead? It's a more powerful gun.

  • World War IV, Rebooted 8.9 years ago

    Normally I would say yes, but the Antarctic Republic needs a leader. @ErvenDynamics

  • World War IV, Rebooted 8.9 years ago

    @SimpleTechAndResearch To each their own.

  • World War IV, Rebooted 8.9 years ago

    @SimpleTechAndResearch I would normally say yes, but there are other nations that need leaders and members, so I must decline that request.

    I want to avoid the pre-Paternia C&C Awwam with a dozen members because it was on the top of the list.

    Likewise, I want to avoid what happened in the earlier WWIV RP where everyone became allies with Paternia.

    On the other hand, Oceania needs a leader, and I think it could use you.
