This plane must have been so advanced for 1936. The rudder and tail wings have an interesting shape. Is it meant to not have suspension on the landing gear??? It’s almost impossible to land without destroying the prop
The cool part is that it’s 3 times more fuel efficient to spin the thing when hovering rather than not spin in a hover. Because of the wings
@ssenmodnar
@Cerdd Nah we’re good. Yeah I wonder how agile it truly is. The YF-22, not 23, had thrust vectoring but was left out of the 23 to be more stealthy. The YF-22 was the OG F-22 raptor that beat out the 23 version.
Unimportant detail, but radar purposes would be the reason for a single tail wing on each side of the craft. This would also heavily decrease agility when attacking. A regular circular fuselage is not good at avoiding radar. Cool build.
@UltraLight Oh. I thought you meant automatic flare as in shooting flares automatically. Sorry 😅. I always wonder why the air force doesn’t use an auto throttle system like yours for refueling
This build is bad because you can’t lock a missile unless you have line is sight with the target from the main cockpit. Dumb Simple Planes mechanic UGH!
I also tweaked the wings in the slightest bit and now it’s handling is so sluggish. Honestly the yours has a better part count to appearance ratio. I think I’ll stick to programming lol @lemoose
Edit: I added 121 parts to the original, (36 of which is for my internal weapon) so 85 extra parts for unnecessary body work = useless. And yours has a total of 115 parts…that’s crazy. I don’t think even @Astro12 could build it better. Yes Astro. That’s a challenge.
This concept would be so expensive in real life. I see it like a fighter version of the B-2 bomber. Knowing how much a B-2 costs…I think this would break the bank
Wow this is so good I can’t even turn on the engine until I know how to start a real plane’s engine lol. The handling in flight seems a bit wonky at low speeds. Is it like that in real life?
@UltraLight I took your advise and made this instead of a kite. Click me. I refer to waves a lot in that post, but I believe wind and terrain behave similarly with ocean swells
The cockpit shape and rear engine rotator look good! This plane is hard to build. Btw for the front lift fan grid, it might be easier to use the bottom of a hinge rotator and scale it
Btw you can update this post by clicking the little arrow next to the download counter and then update xml then find the tweaked version’s file and upload it
The center of lift is too far foreword. So you could set the canards to point to the angle of attack so they doesn’t provide lift, then add or subtract a little when you want to pitch up or down
@OUGHTO Wow.

@Quartz05 @TRD To fix it, detach the camera from the head and attach it to a solid object so it won’t turn
+2Tried taking off with the USS beast catapult. Was not disappointed lol

@ssenmodnar
Wow that first picture is cool. Is it real? Or from a video game @beenz
@ssenmodnar Oh. Just like a gyroscope
Cool beans bro

+1Hmm...if you make it simple and easy for players to remove the condensation trails (maybe with instructions), you should keep it.
+2Automatic flares? How?! @UltraLight
+1Wrong. It’s all Ohio.
:0 good part count, looks and functionality in a sports car build! That’s rare.
+1It looks just like this plane click me
What did your old one look like?

+1For anyone interested, here are 2 kites.

@Lemoose
+1The military wants to know your location
+1Permission to use this on my most realistic plane?
+2@Otana 🎶Come on, let’s go and play!🎵
Part count is very good! But the controls are pretty difficult
This concept would be so expensive in real life. I see it like a fighter version of the B-2 bomber. Knowing how much a B-2 costs…I think this would break the bank
@Krikkit42 Cool! That’s so interesting

Will your ILS glide path still be accurate if the plane loses a wing?

+1@Bryan5 Hey I fixed a ton of small annoying bugs… I also made this example build. click me
+1Me trying to understand internet humor: 🗿
+1Here’s a target for you to shoot at. 🍿
neat
+1username checks out
I didn't know you could grab another plane's controls. This build is so intuitive. Only downside is you need a camera to follow the other plane
+1Btw you can update this post by clicking the little arrow next to the download counter and then update xml then find the tweaked version’s file and upload it
+2I was confused on how it only sometimes works until I followed your instructions in the comments. This is neat!
@asteroidbook345 you juked me so hard my brain's ankles broke
+1@asteroidbook345 Are you allowed to say he’s bad?
+1Was expecting something surf related but this is cool. Upvote
Your joking right? @asteroidbook345
+1You have some really good VTOL builds. Will you ever make a realistic handling F-35B that hovers with the new funky tree capabilities?
Wow this build was ahead of it’s time.
Release a non vr version without the cockpit because we have the controls on the screen. Simple.
+1@FairFireFlight Is this kid friendly?
The center of lift is too far foreword. So you could set the canards to point to the angle of attack so they doesn’t provide lift, then add or subtract a little when you want to pitch up or down
Very cool
