@ND40X I would try to just add support struts and beams to outline where the glass is. You can also use a single block to cover the whole cockpit area so that you can see everything when in cockpit view mode. Other than that maybe try the XML modded pieces which are sort of transparent
@swgrainger yeah flying planes yourself is much more fun but it hasn’t stopped me collecting models like a madman hahaha. I did stop with building though. I tried to make my own designed models of balsa and foam board but it never works the way I hope
@ND40X so when I tested it out, the plane stalls between 75-80mph in both conditions. This however is still a problem as the flaps don’t do what they are meant to do. I tried moving the CoL closer to the front of the plane and reducing the weight but for some reason the exact same thing happens. What it could be is that the specific XML modded wings you have aren’t good flaps. I have a couple different ones in my sub assemblies and some work far better than others. It’s kind of a disappointing answer but that’s most likely the problem. It’s not very noticeable though and most people tend to land far from stall speed and only use that to flare (as much as you can actually flare in a small plane like this lol). They still make you pitch up more than you would be able to when flying slow so they do somewhat assist you in landing. I hope this helps! Also the plane looks great!
This is a really nice and simple plane! It looks very cool, kind of like a mix of planes from real life. Did you have anything in mind when making this?
Whoa! This is super cool! It reminds me of a few different aircraft like the P-80 and the Seahawk. I love the shape of this and it’s handling is nice too. Great job!
This is pretty nice! You got the overall shape down fairly well. A little bit of touching up wouldn’t do any harm. You also might want to switch the elevator and ailerons as I think it’s the other way round for this plane (but I could be wrong). Overall it’s a good build, a little heavy but good.
@AircraftoftheRedStar I like the look of those planes very much but I don’t know too much about them. I actually just finished making a plane I think you’ll like. I’ll tag you in the unlisted version
This is really cool! It feels so weird manoeuvring in one of these without any sort of fabric or canvas over it hahaha. I love all the detail you put into it. Also is it modeled after anything in particular?
@AircraftoftheRedStar the general shape is very good but I would have made the wing roots a little longer. The start of the wing is longer than the end by quite a lot it seems. Why don’t you remake this one for later with all the normal detail you put in? Id love to see that!
@OmegaDestroyer ahhh I see. The thickness isn’t too much of an issue. The wings on a real 250 are closer to the middle however and the wingspan is something between 55 and 60 feet so longer than the fuselage length. These are relatively small things but they help make the aircraft look even better if you get them right :)
@FlyingHueman you should be! It looks very well made. Also bomb bays are far easier than you think. Look at the one I have for the B-101. That one is very simple but it works well. Just make sure you have an XML modded rotator of some sort so that it opens when you press a certain AG
This is pretty neat! It looks good and flies really nicely too. You didn’t make it too over manoeuvrable like most planes on here. I would however look at the overall profile of the original aircraft a little more, in particular the placement and size of the wings. The overall shape could also use a few touches but this is overall a very nice plane!
It looks pretty nice (the custom control surfaces looks fantastic) and has a decent cockpit but you made it very unstable and very underpowered. The CoM has to be in front of the CoL to have it at all stable. In general it’s flight characteristics are just unrealistic or very poor. It does look very very nice though but it would be even better if it could fly well too!
Wow! This is a really cool design. That cockpit is just incredible too. Wonderfully made and it flies great too. It would be fantastic too if it had working bomb bay doors. Other than that this is just super cool! Great job on this one!
@steampunk0202 yeah I figured. You probably know already now that the Lewis looks different but tbh your version looks cooler. Two drums is better than one
How long was the trip with it? What’s interesting about this plane is that for airlines like British airways, it’s more expensive to fit in as many seats as possible because then they would have to have another crew member on board. So instead, they just removed a couple rows and now everyone has more leg room. The economy plus is by far the nicest of any of the smaller jets I’ve been on
You might want to look at proportions a little more, especially the cockpit windows but it’s still very good for a first try at an airliner. I can’t pass up on an E jet! They’re some of the nicest to fly in
A little hard to fly, especially with the controls seemingly inverted but good for a first attempt. Maybe try working on the shape of the nose and cockpit a bit. Pretty neat otherwise!
This is really magnificent. All the detail put into this must have taken a while but it was definitely worth it. I also like how you tried to make the RFC roundel move. It would be nice if you could make semi circles in this game. Also, what gun were you trying to make in the back there? A Lewis?
@FlyingHueman hahaha I’ll check it out and attempt not to die while piloting it. I like the over manoeuvrable builds, they’re usually more fun to fly. I just want to try making things a little more realistic since some of mine would probably shatter the bones of whoever tries to turn in them hahahaha
@FlyingHueman wow this is such a cool looking plane! Really creative build. I wonder how many Gs this thing pulls hahaha. The cockpit though is actually top tier. It’s really well made and looks realistic for such an aircraft. Really neat build and I’m looking forward to your next one!
This is really nicely made! The shape is pretty unique but it works well. The internals of the cockpit look really really good and those engines are superb! Swept wings with props looks really good so I was happy to see that here. The only thing I would think about changing is having the cockpit a little more integrated with the rest of the fuselage. I do get that it is quite hard to do though and this cockpit is decent from the outside so it doesn’t take away from the planes aesthetic too much. Very well done man!
@ND40X sometimes it’s just for the best. Why don’t you just add fake ones?
@ND40X I would try to just add support struts and beams to outline where the glass is. You can also use a single block to cover the whole cockpit area so that you can see everything when in cockpit view mode. Other than that maybe try the XML modded pieces which are sort of transparent

@swgrainger that would be very cool to see! Do you build model planes too or just digitally?
@Zanedavid because that’s exactly what this plane was really created for lol
@BigCheese that’s fantastic! I wish I had been able to see that. It must have been incredible!
Whoa! This is incredible! I remember seeing the real thing when they were bringing in the enterprise to New York around 2011 or 2012.
This is really cool! Really nicely made rocket pods and I like the custom flame from the engine
This is a really nice and simple plane! It looks very cool, kind of like a mix of planes from real life. Did you have anything in mind when making this?
Congratulations buddy! You definitely deserved it with how many planes you built and how well you made them.
Damn this is utterly incredible. Wonderfully made!
@Hypixel no problem!

@OmegaDestroyer this is still a good build nonetheless though, don’t get me wrong
It’s somewhat a crime this has any less than 25 upvotes.

This is very cool! It would be nice to see some landing gear though because it looks too expensive to just crash every time hahaha. Lovely build!

@Yoelwiyadiekaputra I already have the answer to this but thanks! It’s over a year old hahaha
Really nice work then!

No problem buddy!
@Gameboi14 np. What are you working on?
@botto28 no problem! It’s a rarer plane which I don’t see posted that much here so it’ll be nice to see another one
You might want to look at proportions a little more, especially the cockpit windows but it’s still very good for a first try at an airliner. I can’t pass up on an E jet! They’re some of the nicest to fly in

Not an easy plane to build. I like that you added some camo
@botto28 which one are you going for? A quick but cool one you can make with just a few changes to your F-5 is an F-20
Well holy smokes this thing is incredible. I was considering making one of these but not anymore. It couldn’t even come close to this good!
You got yourself a new follower!
@ND40X how large is this supposed to be?
The shape is really good and it flies wonderfully too! It feels a little empty though. Some more details and decal would make it perfect
@FlyingHueman hahaha I’ll check it out and attempt not to die while piloting it. I like the over manoeuvrable builds, they’re usually more fun to fly. @ND40X ahhh I see. It’s still a little too large for the airframe but what you were going for makes more sense now
Looks good so far! If this is a WIP, you might want to look at the shape of the wings again. Compare yours to a diagram of a B-17

This is a really neat build! The plane looks really really good and the controls and water landing ability is fantastic. Nice build!
@Diloph he’s thicc
