@metallicplanes Of course it's a large detailed map, I can have decent fps with almost every plane I have. But to be honest, do you really often use 6000 parts builds?
@FairFireFight Maybe you have some scripts in your assets folder, you can try to remove downloaded assets in the project and save it again, otherwise idk how to help...
@FairFireFight Make sure you import the new modtool (with simpleplanes 1.8), and use Unity 2018.3.8f1. If the problem persists I don't know how to solve it.
@FairFireFight Yes, make sure you don't have two objects or materials with the same name. In your picture I can see you have two terrain objects, make sure the colliders have different names.
@ProcessedPlAnEs Strange, i have no lag (~53fps), even if i play with 1000+ parts plane, reshade and many modded parts, and... No, i'm sorry i will not make a D-day map.
@ThePilotDude There's an "Asset store" window inside Unity, or just download them from the internet. To use Jundroo's assets, go to assets - import asset - C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\Mods\SimplePlanesModToolsAssets
@ThePilotDude The terrain is based on a heightmap i made, the rocks are objects found on asset store (free). Also, a lot of precise modelling in places of interest.
@mikoyanster I did the same with simple objects, (with Unity 5.3), just set the limit between LODs at the distance you want to make it disappear. You can add simple primitives to replace buildings by adding another render group for more complex objects. For example, replacing this bridge by a simple cube by adding new render group. Hope this will be useful.

@CaesarSeizer Wow ! Is all the map like that?
@metallicplanes It's working fine on my computer, I'll try to optimize it in future updates.
Also, try to remove special characters in terrain's name, like , or ( )

@metallicplanes Yeah, it's just a joke with my name, Mister tea !

@Franticmatty
@Frantic
@NFIGMT It's an Iver Huitfeldt-class frigate of the Royal Danish Navy.
@NFIGMT Which one?

@ProcessedPlAnEs Lol, yeah i noticed that, but still running really smooth on my computer, let me know if you have lag.
@GearsNSuch Thanks !

@KingHandspider Ok, thanks, i'll think about it, or maybe a collab next map...
@Wrysen @DeezDucks i7-4770 CPU 3.40GHz, 16Go Ram, Geforce GTX 1070 (running the map with average 53 fps)
@Marine There's a small one, don't even think about landing a 747 on it !

@spefyjerbf Thanks
@RailfanEthan Lol
@JamesBoA Average 53 fps
@DuckMint Sure.
@RailfanEthan ??
I love the second picture ! Nice plane and nice screenshots !
+2Nice !
@mikoyanster In my mods, i only use simple shaders with "LegacyDiffuse" render only.
+1@mikoyanster I'm not used to the code itself, I only built mapmods with terrains and assets. Otherwise looks like you found a good way to fix it.
@DuckMint Yeah ! @mikoyanster DuckMint teached me that, credits to him !

+2@mikoyanster Set lod group to make the city disappear in the distance (LOD=0 for every object), it will solve the problem and save FPS.
+1@Kweed10 Sorry, I tried it at home and have the same issue. Idk how to fix it at the moment.
+1You must use the 2018.3.8f1 version of Unity. Install it, reload your mod, save it and it should work.
+1262?
+1@WarHawk95 Bah oui, qui d'autre...
@BroAeronautics I'll not upload the beer kegs, it's just a joke, if you want to fly the plane : Mod version
NoMod version
Looks nice !
@Awsomur Yeah, first Jundroo's multiplayer game !
Nice office !
You should place your terrain at least y= -100 to hide the square under the water when flying above.
Sad news... Wish you all the best!
@Shippy456 @shipster No mod version coming soon !
Just paint it the color you want...
this one?
Set your shader to "legacy diffuse" if it's too bright.
@Ownedpilot Yes it is ! Very nice build by the way. Sorry I forgot to mention it (fixed).
