@SupremeDorian The Android version, due to the Google store suddenly requiring all its games to be 64 bit, is going to be forced to make an update which will disable mods for it. Basically putting Android users in a similar situation to IOS users.
Here's a few, nowhere near all but a few...
.
Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls
Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box
Tool - Parabola
Incubus - Drive
.
Hard to have 'a' favorite song when your tastes stretch along rock and metal from the 60's to now XD
I honestly find the jankiness of MP collisions hilarious. How one person can get obliterated while the other is completely unharmed.
.
One time when I took my Surcouf out to MP someone collided with it on my screen sending it flying over 1000 feet in the air, largely unharmed, while their plane flew around on fire. The funniest part was, on their screen they didn't even hit me! XD
@thefalkenreich Sunday? I'll promise to try, though the ballistic missiles shouldn't cause too much trouble the torpedoes might prove a bit difficult. Like I said, I will try, especially with the politeness of a please ^^
.
If I can't get the weapons together, I could make it up somewhat by uploading an unlisted link to the unarmed but functional sub to play around with till I get them together.
I agree strongly with PositivePlanes and BACconcordepilot's suggestions, in fact they're my two problems with the damage system exactly. I think destruction would look a hundred times better if parts simply detached as opposed to disappearing. And ooooh is the chain reaction effect ridiculous at times.
"The" Ironclad, a bold but well deserved name. This is not only a very well detailed build but a very functional and (most importantly) fun one! It's quite well armed with plenty of explosives to lob at your enemies.
Tons of little details including rivets, lifeboats, the use of a rocket for the smoke stack, and the muzzle blast effect for the guns! Also nicely colored as well, with the bronze of the cannons and anchor contrasting well with the greys to give it a very rustic 1860's look. Overall, love this!
@Nerfenthusiast You don't need a mod to use the weapons after launch, it's connected to the sub via a winch so it stays 'technically' connected to the cockpit. Simply launch the aircraft and switch to air to ground mode and you should be able to drop the bomb.
@Jerba Yea that kind of thing, my idea would be that these craft could be launched underwater, like torpedoes. Going up to surface before launching from there, carrying out their mission, then flying back and landing in the water before submerging and being picked up below the waves.
@Jerba A submersible aircraft carrier would probably be most effective today if it launched Aerosubs (flying submarines) in my opinion. Needing to surface in order to launch aircraft would take a huge chunk out of its advantage as a sub.
.
That said, if Anti-carrier weaponry were to advance it would probably create the greatest chance for a submarine carrier to be built. But that aside I agree strongly that a submarine aircraft carrier is an awesome concept, that's why we all love the Scinfaxi after all!
@Nerfenthusiast If you're trying to remove it look in the tube structure that holds the plane for the detacher. It's bright red and connects the plane to a piston which connects it to the submarine.
@randomusername Oh yes, though this thing has gun turrets, fully functioning control surfaces and ballast control, the hull is a part I'm especially happy with! That's partially since it redeems the lackluster work I did with the U boat.
We had a good dinner of chili cheese hamburgers, after one time going to see the fireworks it was quite the hassle so we didn't end up doing much sadly. But it was a good day then otherwise.
Think it could be possible to apply the water effects (or similar effects) from the Ocean Designer Background mod to the actual game world's water? Not all machines and devices could handle it, but it would make the game's water look amazing for those that can!
YEEEES!.....YEEEESSS! Once I have a proper torpedo this will make a fun target for my submarines. Might make a type 7 at some point, and if I do I will certainly test it against this convoy.
@Nerfenthusiast Currently it hasn't seemed too practical, particularly given the pontoons will be stored inside the hull and magnets might bring about some unwanted connections. I might give it another chance though, not too hard to nudge the plane out and do some designer suite attachment trickery. I'll let you know how things go!
@Gameboi14 It's (supposed to be) French, which I used Google translate for.
@Gameboi14 Nope, I remember a word or two from spanish class at the most.

@WarHawk95 Nope just a guy with google translate and hopes of making interesting teasers.

@WNP78 Great job on the update! From what I can see all the issues with the attachment editor seem to be ironed out and it is a joy to use!
+2I believe it is sadly :( Shame too because these look great!
@thefalkenreich Alrighty, I'll look out for it.
@thefalkenreich Oh! A collab!? Yes I am!
I agree strongly with PositivePlanes and BACconcordepilot's suggestions, in fact they're my two problems with the damage system exactly. +3This thing is shockingly durable against crazy ai planes. One just flies right into its side and it just shrugs it off with zero damage.

+2@Stargazzer Hope that works!
+1Little tip to help make sure pictures show up, try removing the 's' in 'https' within the links.
+1@Nerfenthusiast Try it again, that should keep it stable on the surface. Make sure VTOL is ALL the way up before pressing 8
@Nerfenthusiast Did put VTOL up and use AG8? That keeps the sub on the surface and disables the bow planes.
@Nerfenthusiast Awesome! Glad it does, I've made it a goal to try to keep the part count below 500. Glad it's paid off in this case!
@Nerfenthusiast Yea, I sussed that issue out a while ago when I made ballistic missiles for my Golf ^^
Oh what an encounter it was when I first saw this thing looming over the skies in MP, it was quite the epic sight!
@Nerfenthusiast You don't need a mod to use the weapons after launch, it's connected to the sub via a winch so it stays 'technically' connected to the cockpit. Simply launch the aircraft and switch to air to ground mode and you should be able to drop the bomb.
@Jerba Yea, cost and logistics would probably be the biggest thing keeping the concept in the drawing board.
@Jerba Yea that kind of thing, my idea would be that these craft could be launched underwater, like torpedoes. Going up to surface before launching from there, carrying out their mission, then flying back and landing in the water before submerging and being picked up below the waves.
@thefalkenreich No problem!

@thefalkenreich Aaaah I see, gotcha, little confused there XD Making a decal will be new for me but I'll take a crack at it!
@Insmallsky Thank you! Given I consider your sub a great build that means a lot!
@thefalkenreich Oh? You mean build it as it was in WW2?
@thefalkenreich Ooooh a Gato Class, well lucky for you in the interest of consistent time periods in uploads I'll make that right after the Surcouf!
+1@Roswell Thank you!
Really nicely designed and built submarine, and well armed too. It was nice running submerged in my Golf alongside this thing in MP. :)
+1@Nerfenthusiast If you're trying to remove it look in the tube structure that holds the plane for the detacher. It's bright red and connects the plane to a piston which connects it to the submarine.
@Nerfenthusiast Wanna take the plane out and use it standalone?
@Nerfenthusiast Oh yes it will! Huge size, a lotta drag calculation, and a decent amount of parts. I hope it runs well!
@Nerfenthusiast Alrighty! Hope you enjoy it when you do!
@randomusername Oh yes, though this thing has gun turrets, fully functioning control surfaces and ballast control, the hull is a part I'm especially happy with! That's partially since it redeems the lackluster work I did with the U boat.

+1@Nerfenthusiast No, but you'll see what all it has in a couple hours.
+1Think it could be possible to apply the water effects (or similar effects) from the Ocean Designer Background mod to the actual game world's water? Not all machines and devices could handle it, but it would make the game's water look amazing for those that can!
@jamesPLANESii Good, means you won't see your ships getting bombed till it's too late >;)
+1@Mwight7728 Mods aren't allowed on IOS
+1This is amazing! The perfect Anti Air weapon for AI ships!
YEEEES!.....YEEEESSS! Once I have a proper torpedo this will make a fun target for my submarines. Might make a type 7 at some point, and if I do I will certainly test it against this convoy.
An Air Launched Ballistic Missile! Now that's something you don't see built often on here.

@ThomasRoderick Thank you, drew it myself ^^
