ALSO:
I know the yaw doesn't work, sorry about that. I don't know why it is not working and I tried fixing it multiple times, but it will not rotate for some reason, but somehow there is working yaw torque whilst on the ground... so I dunno
Can I make a ww2 "modernized" version of the Caproni Ca.3?
It will not be as large as the typical WW2 bomber, but it will still be larger than a dive bomber
@Ruskiwaffle1991 it is very easy to do it. Take an ingame screenshot, and then apply it to a blueprint in blueprint mode. Take a screenshot of the blueprint, and viola!
@Khanskaya first off, I just want to say sorry if I came off rude.
But I'm saying that if you go through XML you can disable drag points. If anything, that rule in place actually helps your build as it makes it accelerate and decelerate more realistically, with a higher top speed. I agree that sometimes these rules can get out of hand and maybe should be put more towards points rather than direct rules, but with this rule in place it keeps the ideology that it is about racing in place.
Just imagine being 40,000 feet up. Flying faster than anyone ever does. Free as a bird (albeit your flight controller or mission officer yelling in your ear)
I'm going into the USAFA after high school. But I would never work as an airliner pilot. I like the smaller jets (I wanna fly the F-22). I suddenly became a huge aviation nerd, alongside my already-present Astrophysics and Chemistry nerdship.
But yeah, I want to join the USAF (3 out of every 1000 applicants make it to be a fighter pilot)
@PapaKernels huh. I might have a problem getting this into the challenge. Could you please ask a moderator to make it a successor? If that doesn't work, please put the link in the challenge.
This thing is awesome, though!!!
Thanks! @tntwiley
Awesome!

Thanks! @Stinky
Or would you just prefer a regular torpedo bomber Ca.3?

Thanks! @JeffChandler
OOOOOOOH
Ya know what? I'm going to build my favorite biplane: The Caproni Ca.3
The plane had a Torpedo variant that, in my opinion, looks the best anyways because it has an autocannon on the nose
Thanks! @Ergithe
Thanks! @OPaiTaOn @Florida0man
+1@Grroro okay! Sweet.I just wanted to ask because the FAF challenge ends in a week
+1The wings were on a dihedral, but nice!!!
@10 erm... look it up. But I'd suggest not to. As another user stated: "protect your innocence"
Also, do you want me to finish up the D.520? Or do you want to?
WOAH this thing is awesome!
@PapaKernels Thanks!
+1@PapaKernels
BTW: this thing is chonk
I will start grading... erm... soon!
Beautiful plane! I love all the details
I'll be making something for this...
this thing is amazing! I will test her out later
YOU BUILT IT :O
@PapaKernels huh. Okay!
I'll have to do some crazy coding before I continue building XD. I'm at 5000
UNDER 1250!? uhhhhhhhh
@Ruskiwaffle1991 bitte
Tea
You are a really skilled builder
HOW DO THESE NOT HAVE A TON OF UPVOTES???

+1Tag the people to this
@MIAW26PERSIAN wat?
+1I can! XD
3 props, biplane, external hardpoints. Open cockpit. Should be interesting
Ya know... I'm actually going to build a regular plane this time
AWESOME!
NOICE
@Nick94538 go into XML, and under parts you set "calculate drag" to false, and then set the amount of drag to 0. You have to do both, or it won't work
@Khanskaya first off, I just want to say sorry if I came off rude.

This is cool, but sorry. This does not meet the requirements of the challenge (minimum part count is 100)
@Khanskaya you disable the drag points
First!

Those controls, though :O
I REALLY like it! The wings have a weird shape, but it gets the job done well. That paneling is almost seamless. MWAH! I love it

@ReinMcDeer thank you so much!
And wow. You really went all out with the code. That's crazy
Also, how'd you manage the weapon select door code? I'm working on a new design for a stealth fighter plane.
NOOOOO I FORGOT TO UPVOTE THIS
