@mikoyanster I fly and design freestyle/race quadcopters that can change direction at 10+ G-forces easily. The problem I have with simpleplanes is that the gyro can't control separate engines; it only operates through gyroscopic effect at limited angles. I'm trying to simulate rate/acro/manual mode where the flight computer will leave the craft facing wherever you point it and simply remove vibrations and unwanted spins. Any tips?
Lol I did terribly. It was probably my best looking and worst flying creation. Anyone have tips on how to make helicopters/multirotors fly properly in simpleplanes? I design and fly quads in real life but can’t get them to work in simpleplanes
Takeoff can be a lot slower and shorter than that if you know what to do. I’ve done 50 before. This is mainly designed for rough, short runways and long flights rather than landing on mesas. Don’t worry, I’ll be making an ultra-light, ultraslow slow bush plane soon @XjayIndustrys
I suggest using a livery with a shade of gray as the primary colour and secondary colours as anything you like (but not too bright). Also try a designer background mod. Be aware that I can’t fly anything with this part count so I’m just judging looks
I am the pilot when it’s remote control. I just ain’t sitting in the cockpit and have almost no risk of death if something goes wrong. It is a completely different fillet of fish to full-scale, manned aircraft though @ThePrototype
It shows promise but the centre of thrust is too far below the centre of mass, causing it to pull up hard. Something this powerful needs the CoM and CoT perfectly in line
If cleaning doesn’t work, someone experienced will need to have a look at it. It sounds like windows is being its usual (insert expletive here) self and has (insert expletive here) your computer with updates. It should clear up within a few days and a few restarts but you may need someone to check it out properly @Zippy6
Step 1: check task manager to see if there's windows updates or anti-virus going crazy
Step 2: clean out all the dust from inside the PC, especially the fans
Step 3: scream incoherently and kick the PC into oblivion
XML guide. In overload, click the plus and type in "damperMultiplier" and set the value to 10. If it doesn’t work, times the value by 10 and try again. Repeat
They are useful in other aspects such as yaw stabilisers/dampers/side-force-generators. They can be used a bit like a polyhedral wing to have high roll stability
Whatever you want. Just to spark your imagination, here’s some stuff I’m working on: gigantic gunship with ridiculous weaponry, rockcrawler with independant suspension and a multirole fighter with thrust vectoring, canards and v-tail. Or you could enter the attack helicopter challenge
It’s possible if you build well enough. Most people are using exploit flyers which can be hypersonic. Let’s just say you won’t win if you get over 3min @RenxBlake
What’s this? A detailed ship under 1000 parts? I don’t believe it
Ahhh... so a shock absorber on all axes. A bit like a steady cam @Minecraftpoweer
I have no idea why you would need stabilisers on a tank. Are you talking about ground vehicles?
So what’s wrong with the mods? I like them
Go ahead, please @Texasfam04

I can’t find any aircraft with the same LG on your profile. Could you link me to it? @XjayIndustrys

@JunkyardLeader Give it a good ol' kick for good measure
Good. What was wrong? @JunkyardLeader
Damn. I can’t help then. That always works for me @cheese99
Try running a memory diagnostic

Ok, I’ll let you make that survey
Good thing it changed. Sounds like how movies can have poor ratings before previews are released @PlanesOfOld
FYI, 1200m/s is a realistic bullet speed, not 120m/s. Otherwise, nice work!
Wow. There sure was a lot of drama in the early days of simpleplanes lol
Have you tried screaming incoherently?
it's good to see new players progressing from this to the Scout Eagle within a few months :P
@logizAircrafts P-61 Black Widow or Canberra bomber
Hawker DH103 Hornet

Sorry, I’m just joking @randomusername
@randomusername I think you just overdosed on something else honestly
@randomusername are you feeling OK?
Beautiful aircraft! Inspired me to start making a 3 surface bushplane
Well I haven't tried it yet but the prop wash simulation sounds promising
WOW!! SO MUCH dEtQAIl! VERy GooD!
Looks good but you need better suspension. I recommend double wishbone suspension

@ACEPILOT109 I'll go for <300 then
I thought your land rover was originally made by @archerabc

Oh yeah, pistons don’t come under hinges category. Oops @Marine
Did you change anything from the original?

No idea. I just know it’s possible. Probably not worth the effort @Brields95
Don’t forget the chocolate @Mumpsy

It seems that most servers have dried up and disappeared while everyone uses the two mentioned below
I dunno. Maybe world peace, enlightenment and chocolate? @Mumpsy
Yeah... with engine exhaust, electronics and armament submerged. Not everything that floats is a boat @Tank6376
@Tank6376 No idea what you mean but thanks for the upvote
You just did @Aussiebogan3
