Depends on the system, but generally yes. When you setup your headset it asks you to define the limits of the area you want to use. (So you don't walk into walls). It can be as small as just the area around your seat but can also be room size.
Nice. You could even have the X wings open when SelectedWeapon!="" but that's going into personal preferences. Some ppl like to actually flip a switch. Without revealing how into Star Warz I was as a kid, I remember "lock s foils in attack position" and thinking they meant X foils caus its an x wing fighter right? Apparently not.
I can record a normal SP game without the headset without cropping, But I wanted to do it all in VR and steamVR's game window is only a mirror of one of the eye displays. There is special software for VR recording but can't be bothered.
ARR me hearties. I've been getting my inner pirate on with this one. Tip for VR users, configure Left hand thumbstick for VTOL. Then you can steer while operating the cannons. Definitely one of the best builds on the SPVR platform.
@Noname918181 Considering the high quality of the entries I was delighted to get a place. Thanks for the challenge, it pushed me to produce better builds.
@Hedero Its the algorythm. I think its based on a social network rating systems, the number of friends and friends of friends. i think you have the right attitude. Build for the love of it. And the fewer but more appreciative people that enjoy what you create.
@AvalonIndustries Thanks for kind words. You are right, of course and I couldn't help darkly enjoying the wheelchair in VR. If you don't have access t a rig I am happy to test your final builds and give feedback.
I say, be kind to the people whom offer their creations. Be open to new ideas, new terrifying, twisted and quite frankly nightmarish ways to be destroyed.
@AWESOMENESS360 Its a missile defense system. Attach it to your build and when you get a warning that a missile is locked on you, use the "fire machine guns" control. It destroys the missiles.
@DanielBorg098 Don't be discouraged if your posts don't get a lot of attention. there is a good chance most people didn't see them. The search algorithm has its own rules, and to be honest I don't know what those rules are either. Just enjoy building and posting your creations.
@ReinMcDeer You are a genius. You gave me the clue to what was missing from this build. A pilot! Coming soon.... VR Cephalopod Rider.

+1Red six have you seen red five? Just love this.
+1@Alisuchanka No, you are perfectly correct, I overstepped. I deleted the posts but I can't stop the notifications going out. Really Sorry.

+1Flies well. Nice clean build.
+1Many controls in the cockpit. Love the displays.
+1You just had to. Didn't you?
+1Welcome back, thanks for the build. Peace and love.

+1Dude, I seriously want to understand this.
+1Whee. Fun. Agree with @Beasthunter. Replace that foot plate with an upside down semi-symmetrical wing. It will downforce a bit for better traction.
+1English can be tricky
+1I like this build. Translate program didn't get it right for you. "at inequality ground" Would be better said as "Uneven ground" or "Sloping ground".
+1Wow.

+1I just a had another look at this. You've done a really good job of analyzing and replicating a birds anatomy. Its taught me a lot.
+1Took my by surprise. Feels solid to fly with good balance. Nice build.
+1Nice Torpedo's aimed by a TOE.. TOW? system. Sort of. Where there is a spool of wire connecting back to the launcher. Wish I'd though of that.
+1Its absolutely amazing. I love that you used FT to make it more authentic. There is just so much in it!
+1Has the vibe of a Vought F4U Corsair. Love the part count. Works nice in VR, you should tag it.
+1Well it sure is cool, with its freaky "follow mode" and its impassive slowly blinking eye. Now I have to go watch the anime.
+1Very clean. Amazingly efficient use of parts.
+1Run Otto, run!
+1Didn't know this plane existed. Love the way the gears pop out sideways.
+1With that many guns, you don't need to aim any of them. It hits everything.
+1If only all life's goals could be reached by pressing a single button.......ah bliss
+1A fascinating design. What was the intention behind having both props and jets. Were they for different phases of flight, or to work together.
+1So unassuming. yet so amazing. It's a symphony of geometry, aesthetics and code. Going to read the book!
+1@Noname918181 Airplane specifically? OK that sorts out what you are looking for. I was thinking of a VTOL tank but I'll try something else.
+1I'm so confused.
+1@Urocyon Thanks.

+1@JuanNotAnAlt @AvalonIndustries Congrats, this challenge created loads of amazing crafts.
+1Suck a clean layout. Flies like a dream.
+1Make the buttons bigger.
+1That is Juan sweet ride!

+1@PlanariaLab Thank you. Your funky trees has taught me much.
+1@Aweyer26 Thank you. Your fabulous hover car helped me refine my code.
+1@RandomDisplay Thank you. Your hover car gave me the idea.
