@50CalChicken thats gonna be true for real life designs, but the real x-29 survived it tho. maybe someday we gonna see stuff that can deal with the flexing even better
i added a fbw system to it, and fixed some minor problems. i left a large portion of the plane for you to experiment with so i dont take away all the fun of fixing it oh, don't bother with using the flaps. i dont think the plnae need extra lift. unless u gonna ask me again i will fix it with other ways. adding flaps do mess with the handling abit
@BuildinTacos the x29/x26 concept of forward swept wings are cool, in fact my mig-52's wing was based off an x29 from sp (also a failed attempt to make one on ms flight sim like 30 years ago...)
so have fun and good luck.
@ZeroWithSlashedO my planes are mostly heavily modified evolutions from previous models, so it's probably from the same cockpit or flight computers, i will fix that later
@tarikGR my 7+++ gen WIP is here if u still think i should include it in the competition just let me know :P but i dont have any plan to complete this thing yet, let alone before the deadline. quite busy irl lately..
@Formula350 i think for that rainbow color exhaust thermal metal coloring, u might want to use a few slanted diamonds instead of hearts, probably with better visual effects
@tarikGR its WIP, and not 5th gen so u can probably give me an honorary mention, just dont put me in first place coz i think it will probably kill the competition, not at my computer today so lemme post it later
@EnigmaSP i totally love the control and simplcity on this plane.
only one thing needs to be fixed
u need to reverse the roll output when the plane is flying backwards
* sign(90 - abs(AngleOfSlip))
this is what i put on my roll control to make it work both forward and backwards so when your plane is sliding beyond 90 degrees the control surface will automatically reverse for u
@ZeroWithSlashedO okies. will probably take a while.
took me 2 weeks to design the mig-52 but is gonna take me a month to polish my tailless non tvc plane
@50CalChicken thats gonna be true for real life designs, but the real x-29 survived it tho. maybe someday we gonna see stuff that can deal with the flexing even better
@50CalChicken it wasnt THAT bad, took me around 20 minutes to add a fbw system and calibrate.

+1so this is a x29, i would fix that lol
first thing first, your flight computer is pointed backwards.
not only it is flyable, it's also supersonic at sea level
this is an a10 pilot's wet dream

sounds interesting. i think i will be in but i dunno what i am going to do lol
+1@ZeroWithSlashedO my planes are mostly heavily modified evolutions from previous models, so it's probably from the same cockpit or flight computers, i will fix that later
@tarikGR thanks, it should for a gen 7+

+3@Formula350 i think for that rainbow color exhaust thermal metal coloring, u might want to use a few slanted diamonds instead of hearts, probably with better visual effects
happy birthday!!!
beautiful
+1ngl the curves on this plane is hotter than my wife's
+2and the stability is about the same as my ex-gf.
i love how clean this plane is.
i can even get that new car smell by just seeing it on the screen
+1@ZeroWithSlashedO so u are asking for it, i will put my plane here but i am asking for not putting me anywhere on the podium just to be fair.
+1@tarikGR its WIP, and not 5th gen so u can probably give me an honorary mention, just dont put me in first place coz i think it will probably kill the competition, not at my computer today so lemme post it later
+2i actually like this build.
hope u can complete this the way u wanted one day
i have a 7+++ generation fighter WIP so i think i will skip this challenge
+2@GrFrog your right rear rim is missing a connection to a fuselage between the suspension and the rotator
it's fixed here
most brutal op plane in war thunder
+1most brutal op plane in war thunder
+1smoooooooth
+1upvote for simplicity
@Dpdfuzz an exploded samsung is a pretty good samsung
+2@bosscai just thank me for 10000 points.
@Otana i like how he tackles a difficult challenge head on.
@Shadilytn yo keep it up with your tailless build.
+1meanwhile here's my WIP, also tailless
@EnigmaSP i totally love the control and simplcity on this plane.

@CSNStudio
no one is gonna make them.
no girls' legs build will ever beat this.
can u make one for f-19....
please.
@hanleehan03
@TRD6932 thanks!
and i thought my disco balls were cool...
btw which one activates the smoke trail?
i totally like the dashboard
wow i really love this plane.
+2u should get an award for the profile presentation too.
@GriseoCattus thanks!!
+1@ZeroWithSlashedO okies. will probably take a while.
+1took me 2 weeks to design the mig-52 but is gonna take me a month to polish my tailless non tvc plane
@ZeroWithSlashedO oh yes i am happy now thank you
+1i actually had better design after competition.
and the best is still not listed. but thank you.
gg.
@Louisianaboy2021024 that looks like an interesting command to me what r u trying to do with that lol?
ummm. how do u get more than 3 screenies into the plane profile
@Khanhlam okies
@Khanhlam clamp returns outputs with user specified range,
+1clamp01 is an equivalent of clamp with an output min of 0 and max 1
finally a working vsi
+1a fully functional secondary cockpit with all available variables.
so i can attach the primary one on a 200 foot long winch cable as a cheapskate decoy.
+4@MrCarrot i smell simple submarine
+5now we have excuses to tell sp to improve the xml editor and settings interface.
+2it is now official it can hardly read any xml larger than 200+kb
@S1lly glad u love it! the best are yet to come! enjoy
double scoop
+1double the sexy
@AnderWorks a jet that handles kinda like an aerobatic biplane
NGAD+
+3@Darg12e of cos it doesnt lol
first i dont see the logic of that
second even the parentheses are not properly paired
by multiplier + boolean
u could do something like that
(whatever function u wanted to control) * (Activate1 ? 2 : 1)
