@Tang0five @Alien
Many thanks, gents.
Oh, Alien, I couldnt get the number you sent to work on FB. Only a bunch of weird posts showed up... I promise that I respected the spaces...
@Treadmill103 Thanks! It really is good fun to zip around in. A proper challenge to land, too. Try it up against my Sopwith Shadow for a really good scrap.
@Tang0five Much appreciated, old bean!
Many thanks! Im lucky - I was laid off just before Easter and signed my new employment agreement on Wednesday. I’ll be ok! As for the invite; we love Italy! Been there a few times now so watch out... we might just take you up on that... @Alien
Most kind of you old boy. Ive been made redundant, you see. This results in me being at home and full time carer for our lovely little man who, at 11 months old requires my constant attention. Cuts into my «me time» most frightfully. It is good fun, though, kids and all that.
I will say that regardless of how slow you build, my dear fellow, you build quality. @Alien
This is exactly how I think of these designs too. These kites might have Tesla lift generators this and ion thrusters that, but they are net energy consumers. These crates still need a whacking great generator to power them and I cant think of a more pleasent genny to have than a RR Merlin or maybe a Bristol Hercules. @RamboJutter
It really was a quick build. The hollow fuselage was a sub-assembly I had and the cabin was just a lot of mirroring. The biggest pain the the posterior was the fact that it is heavy and I had to go back and stuff an additional engine in her, ahem, rear... @Alien
No probs, old boy. I liked the version 1.7 (temperate colour scheme) best. That roll rate is just astounding. Im having difficulty figuring out just how you managed to get enough wing in that tiny span to make it fly, though? Magic? Or did you rub the wings with eagle blood or something? @RamboJutter
That would be my abortive attempt to upload my bush flyer. Lost the link to the competition when I uploaded, y’see... Fixed now, though. This is a lovely little bus, by the way. @Tang0five
Thats very kind of you. But Im not really able to build so very often these days, havent even tried to build a whirlybird yet and am really too old/grumpy/set in my ways. Really very kind of you to offer, though. @MrAspy
The colour pallette in Simple Planes is long overdue an update, I feel. With an option to alter opacity. @jamesPLANESii
Very nice my dear fellow.

Absolutely lovely! And a bloody shame she was never realised in reality!

Ah. Ok. Still, 250 parts or so is more than enough, I think. @Colonel1J2R3Wolf
@SSSvaSSa Much appreciated!
Thanks very muchly! @Treadmill103
@LostNight many thanks!
@Carbonfox1 cheers me old mucker!
A wee bit over the 250 part limit, but I hope it is ok?
A wink is as good as a nod me old mucker, aye? @Colonel1J2R3Wolf
Incidentally; what were we talking about?
Rodger rodger old boy! @Colonel1J2R3Wolf
Oh yes! Very cool.
Tally ho! Watch for the hun in the sun, pip pip, so on and so forth.

Looks like my first serious attempt at a Harrier... Very nice!
You and me both, old chap... @Tang0five
Eagle blood. Got it. Im liking the control surfaces too. All round good build. I like this one too, mind. @RamboJutter

Steeped in haggis, tartan, whiskey, sclerosis of the liver and casual football violence... Just like me... @GreenGiraffeAerospace

Unstable how? And yes, the wing has boyancy, in the event of inadvertent water landing, to allow safe egress. @Chancey21
Thats very kind of you. But Im not really able to build so very often these days, havent even tried to build a whirlybird yet and am really too old/grumpy/set in my ways. Really very kind of you to offer, though. @MrAspy
This is really very good.
