@99807 use structural wings. There's an option accessible through Overload that enables control surfaces if you need them. Feel free to ask about custom wings with custom control surfaces when you think you are ready to try that. It's a bit more complicated, but results in much better builds.
While this is a cute build, I think I should give you a bit of constructive criticism on it:
Wings aren't very strong, and main landing gear, which bears most of the weight, shouldn't be on wingtips. Only planes with main gear under the fuselage in bicycle fashion have wingtip outriggers, like Harrier. Also, you should go for all-moving horizontal stabilizers. Put structural wings on rotators and give them input Pitch + Trim/10. That will give you both pitch control and trim that is 10% of pitch. Adjust the max angle and speed of rotators to avoid pitch oscillations.
@Cardboard it flies very well, except that flaps work in both directions, pushing the nose down when you move VTOL slider the wrong way. Wings don't look good, with large gaps in the back. You may want to try this technique. With funky trees, you could have added Yaw input to the tail surfaces too.
It looks awesome. Now that I've taken a better look, I see that the thumbnail you asked about would have been 100% against the rules, as vehicle itself was photoshopped. Second picture in description would have been fine as a thumbnail though.
Don't use it. Content of that image might be copyrighted, and image doesn't fully focus on the build itself. It's a borderline case, but I strongly advise against.
Money prize wouldn't be a problem, it wouldn't be the first time steam cards were given to winners. However, upvote prize system is simple. If the winner is to receive five upvotes, you go to their profile and upvote five builds.
It is usual to make a build demonstrating all your skill when you reach the next level. Your current one is, indeed, silver, and next is gold at five thousand points.
@Kaqiusha321 sails would have quadrupled the part count. I'd need hundreds of little wing pieces and hundreds of rotators, and it wouldn't even look good.
@JediWolf they did participate in many battles. Since days of ancient Greece, up to 17th century galleys were the mainstay of Mediterranean navies. However, they are a bit old for my taste, and I have already set my sights on an armored cruiser.
@TheFantasticTyphoon ships of the line are, unfortunately, extremely boring to use. They are essentially floating fortresses, and they sail like floating fortresses. They move at a walking pace, turn slower than a tectonic plate, and are dependent on wind for every movement. I am, however, starting on another old warship. I'm building a protected cruiser or an armored cruise. I'm not sure which of the two armor layouts I'll go with, but that's the kind of design I'm going for.
You should use all three screenshots for upload to better showcase your build.
+1This post is, I believe, both a copy and not a successor to the original post. Do not upload builds users chose to delete.

Since rules are a bit difficult to find, and you've removed the build that broke them, here's a link to them.

+6@Fartspoppop you're a bit late to the party. Also, the post clearly says "please no trolling". Perhaps try with a different question?
@daneshpalkhiwalla they cannot be used, as SP doesn't simulate their function. You can use flares though, I think ive installed them on this one.
@JolyLoly no problem :)
+1@99807 no need to delete this. Maybe one day you'll want to show someone your learning path, and this post will come in handy. Also, it's cute.

Unfortunately, this post is against the rules. I won't issue you a strike this time though.
lol, 200th

+1@asteroidbook345 thanks.
@Shipwright I can't download anything nearly that big.
You could try this technique.

@Tang0five no problem.

You need to edit the mass of the wheel to a lot. Unfortunately, if your build is an aircraft, that will have a great impact on performance.
@Kaqiusha321 this is a steam frigate, and I don't want it to have to sail like a sail ship. I thus chose not to have sails.
@HeavyC22 what meme?
@BuiltBionixInd10 shortest ban option is one day. I don't like that one, so I usually do five day ban.

@AerialFighterSnakes @Rub3n213 thanks.
@spefyjerbf I don't think this is a winner material. Still, let the best build win.
+1@grizzlitn @ChisP thanks.
