@Benkelmans with only seven rockets. Also, they shoot too slow, you can't launch a rocket pod as a WW2 rocket, can't use it to propel a plane, can't use it as MLRS, etc. Of all weapons, since I discovered a better way to load a cannon, I've been using rocket pods the least, as they just don't suit any real life role. Not even the real life role of rocket pods, which is to fire bursts of rockets to cover a small area that'll probably include a tank you were targeting.
@Fjorge devs will notify us the same way they notify us about tournaments. A post on all pages. I'm permanently in beta group for Android, but I don't use Android anymore. There hasn't been an update since before I bought a laptop, so I don't know about Steam. I'll just have to wait and see.
Since @BogdanX asked me to rate some challenge entries, here comes some ratings:
Visual: 7/10. It looks very nice, but I dislike control surfaces being inside the fuselage pieces.
Construction: 8/10. Again, control surfaces. I love the missiles. You did some great job there.
Functionality: 7/10. It flies well when it's fully armed, and again, missiles are great. However, a plane that pitches up when empty and doesn't have trim?! That's something I can't forgive.
Creativity: 9/10. Lookslike all those German concepts, but very well done. Fits the era and general design you were targeting.
Impression: 4/5. I enjoyed testing it, and landing was pretty smooth, which I didn't expect from a design like this.
It's cute. However, it could use more lift, more power, and less weight. It can't maintain altitude on its own. Also, the fuselage cone just in front of the loading ramp prevents take-off.
@PyrusEnderhunter is it supposed to hover? I never had anything hover over that minefield. Also, since I can't code, the mines are just blocks you should not touch. Kinda like traffic cones
@RailfanEthan that gives you only seven rockets, and only if you are not using any group for something else. That means I can only make a custom rocket pod even more useless than the current one.
@Alienbeef0421 seems unnecessary. If the rocket would have a delay slider or other (usual for SP) form of delay adjustment, it could be easily used to make those pods. Also, bombs should have delay settings too.
@AndrewGarrison thank you. There might be more soon. I have ideas, but I have yet to adapt them to SimplePlanes multi-purpose parts policy, and such a design that its implementing wouldn't (in my opinion) take a lot of time and effort to the dev team. I understand you are working hard, and have no time for parts that would be used by just a few users, so I'm trying to present full concepts of the part design, function, and use.
@Fjorge Cedy117 was on iOS until few months ago, which didn't stop him from making some great things. Competition is strong on this challenge. If I give this top marks, what should I give to, let's say, Zandgard's entry?
@Verterium doesn't have to be. Some platinums are total noobs.
However, @Dllama4, you are good. I'd give 7.5/10. You are restricted to guns, with barely anything else. If you had more diversity, where I can see sculpting and performance skills, maybe it would be 9-9.5/10.
A little piece of advice: when you are uploading dark colored builds, use a bright background mod. The picture sells a build, make it prettier. Also, since you are new, here's my copy-paste tips for new users:
Welcome to the community. Read the rules here. You will gain points (the number in the white square next to your username). One "Upvote" on a plane you upload brings 15 points, and an upvote on the forum post brings 2 points. Once you reach 100 points, your point field (currently white) will turn bronze, at 1000 points silver, at 5000 gold, and black (we call it platinum) at 25000 points. To tag a person in the comment, put "@" in front of their username, or hit the "Reply" button on their comment (ex: @ArmataSpaceEngineering). This will send notification to the person you mentioned. I wish you a happy stay in the SimplePlanes community, and a lot of points.
Ok, here it comes:
-Visual: 1/10. No visually appealing features. Outline, details, nothing. Just a few beacons.
-Construction: 1/10. Just a bunch of parts thrown together. Nothing special. No technique.
-Functionality: 2.5/10. Does what it says, but I wouldn't call that functional.
-Creativity: 3/10. It sure is weird, but doesn't look like something you first thought about.
-Impression: 1/5. Can't even go straight.
@LaGG3 @lolzxd23 the android link has been tested by three people, and they say it works. I just downloaded again to my phone, and it still works. It's either your devices, or you are doing something wrong. Does it download, and you can't find it, or does it not download at all?
You probably accidentally edited somethin that you shouldn't have. That corrupts a file, and the plane can't load. I don't think there's a way to fix it.
That's much better. It runs very well. Just one more advice: to limit the speed, edit "Angular velocity" of wheels to a smaller number. Also, try to hit the brakes at high speed. Very fun XD
@Fjorge I think I'm the only one with these, so I'm showing off. Also, it warns against copying. Of course, everyone can develop new EasyAttach™ pods for M.Corp XD

Open an account on Gravatar.com using the same mail you are using for SimplePlanes, and set a picture there.
A lot of damper, possibly xml edited, and set the strength so that it flexes a bit under the weight if the plane

@Rugpeersdude no problem
I guessed that. Nice backstory. Not everyone chooses to play as a fjord.
@Sunnyskies here's another one for your list
@AeroMobilFlyingCar yup. In top10 on users list
@Redstreak45 and back when it was MaleticAirplanes :)
@PyrusEnderhunter oh. Ok then
@PyrusEnderhunter is it supposed to hover? I never had anything hover over that minefield. Also, since I can't code, the mines are just blocks you should not touch. Kinda like traffic cones
Maybe one from my country?
@JimmyFargo1 I'm glad you like it
+1@ElysiumDarkness thank you, buddy
@DeathStalker627 no problem
@mikoyanster thanks
+1No problem, Benny

It is based on USS Casablanca.

@AndrewGarrison could you please at least consider this? Shouldn't be too hard to make, and it has many uses, some of which I have described above.
+1Lol, I'm an example :)
@SimpleFlow I didn't want to be the first to say that...

@luciozanassi no problem
You got a bit rusty. That's fine. Nothing that a bit of practice can't fix. No need to apologize for inactivity, and welcome back.

Uncheck "Scale only selected part" in scale tool of Fine Tuner and scale the whole build.

Nice. Looks cute, and flies well
Beautiful plane, Lucio. Can't wait for the rest of them.
@jlewisifer @Franklinclinton thanks guys
+1This looks very nice. You should have just worked more on a flight model. It shakes at high speed, and is prone to spinning out at lower speed.
@WNP78 @mushr0om lol
@Joyful shame. He had a lot of potential...
@ams2005 thanks
Yay, it's out! Imma fly it now.

@grizzlitn ok, tag me on unlisted and tell me how much to scale. I'll get to it in a few minutes
@Fjorge I think I'm the only one with these, so I'm showing off. Also, it warns against copying. Of course, everyone can develop new EasyAttach™ pods for M.Corp XD
@TrainDude not much. I've been using this mod throughout its development, and I haven't experienced a significant decrease in performance.
@TTHHSSSS Thanks buddy
