The wing root? I used a technique discovered by this guy, essentially im entering negative values into the hollow fuselages dimensions via overload. Very finicky cause they like to reset in the normal editor, but create a very smooth transition between fuselage and wing. This forum post covers the technique in more detail.
Damn this absolutely outclasses my F-4, looks phenomenal with the small details on the fuselage! Very impressed by the part count as well, expected it to be higher tbh.
This is not so cool ” @KnightOfRen's plane is much better than this. You don't even deserve gold barely posting. Wanna talk about low effort? You've barely posted m8.”
Hypocrisy looks bad man.
@ChrisETH
People don’t like this idea because it’s just wrong. It comes of as greedy, condescending and kinda douchey. No one really thinks that an SP craft is on the same level as a mod or piece of art, even if you do spend lots of time on it. I can understand your desire to capitalise, but it just doesn’t fit in with the current community environment. There’ll be a lot of backlash.
.
And either way, who would pay you? You’ve only got like 800 followers, many of whom are probably not active, lots that are under 18 for sure and probably cannot pay, and then those who are older and wouldn’t wish to pay money for what is a less valuable thing than say access to a mod on another game which can provide hours of gameplay than the mere 30mins of gameplay that ur stuff could provide.
This is great an all, but part of being recognised is making good builds in the first place. You could polish a piece of crap for ages and it’ll still look like crap.
True, I did struggle to find decent shots I liked (have nearly 10mins of unused footage) towards the end, but it would’ve meant editing the length of the music or finding a shorter piece. @Chancey21
As you gain more points, it becomes harder to get a feature. A sliver player is more likely to get a feature than a gold player granted they upload the same build. For your bomber to feature, the wings should be redone so they form a basic airfoil shape, (see some of my builds or EternalDarkness’ tutorial) with custom Airbrakes and control surfaces, which is actually quite easy. The proportions/blueprint accuracy could be improved and the engines and cockpit shaping could be made smoother. A custom cockpit (done well might I add) would be that final wow factor that would certainly get you a feature in conjunction with the above.
3000 parts is a lot of parts, and it virtually makes the game unplayable/unenjoyable. @Minecraftpoweer
As for the screenshot, are those modded lights @Kentheman, cause beacons don’t light up like that
@DarthAbhinav @AdlerSteiner
I think you guys misunderstood, he wants to export that as a 3D file so he can print/make it in real life. It’s also a successor so yeah.
Here’s the diagram
Red shows you the connection points, essentially where you need to “shift K”
Circles are rotators and the rectangles are the fusalage blocks. The spring is the coil thing.
@Mainblocks
Are you talking about the retraction and extension of the landing gear? Or the suspension?
If you want to make the suspension work, make the thing you want attached to a rotator at one point. Then, nudge the entire setup up into position (between the suspension spring). Then, at the top of the setup, make sure the top rotator is touching a fusalage part, then hit Shift K, that should attach it to the main strut without breaking it.
If that wasn’t clear, I can make a diagram
@Mainblocks
I used to build cockpits first, but then things kept breaking as I was building around it, so I build them last now. Much more flush too.
@CursedFlames
Hmm, it should always move up when you press it cause that’s literally all it does. Are you sure your not pressing the push to talk button on the left? Here’s an image for reference. If it still doesn’t work after this then I really don’t know what’s going on
@ThomasHeuisler
I would love too, that challenge is pretty much my style of building, but at the same time I don’t know if I could finish in time given how this one took me 2 years from start to end. @FalconDynamic
I hate to plug my own stuff but most (if not all) standard auto-aims don’t work very well with cannons because they don’t account for the ballistics. My most recent build does but it is a bit more complicated to setup.
I believe he wants it so in order to start the engine the throttle has to be at 10%, and then it turns on so to speak.
@PlaneFlightX
If that's the case, you can simply have a conditional like
clamp01(Throttle > 0.1)
Everyone posts crap when they first start, gate keeping and acting like your better than that is hypocritical and elitist. I wouldn’t exactly call your builds from 5 years ago art…

@chemmey
+2This is incredible, the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. Cannot believe that I’m watching something on SP. Bravo
+2Damn this absolutely outclasses my F-4, looks phenomenal with the small details on the fuselage! Very impressed by the part count as well, expected it to be higher tbh.
+2Damn, this trailer reminded of how far SR2 has come since early beta, looks amazing. Might be time to return and mess around with the new features
+2This is not so cool

@ChrisETH
No
+2The buffeting is very interesting, I’ve never really noticed it before. Great experiment!
+2Ahahaha no I didn’t report it, it wasn’t very obvious anyways. Plus it’s such a nice build it would be a shame to see it disappear. @QingyuZhou
+2I thought upvote links were banned now?

Hahahaha very funny joke
+2The planes still a WIP, I’m still ironing out a few issues with the flight model. Cannot give a date though. @TOMJeb117
+2As randomusername said, the shape of the plane is probably more important than any details, you wanna focus on that first.
+2Nah, that’s pretty much it. It’s the only one that was coded in by the devs.
+2Thanks, glad you liked it. Hopefully some of your new maps might make for better scenery
+2@DuckMint
I’ve seen silver users build far better than some platinums consistently. Ranks don’t matter at all, experience and effort does.
+2@ChiyomiAnzai
This is great an all, but part of being recognised is making good builds in the first place. You could polish a piece of crap for ages and it’ll still look like crap.
+2I’ll take the advice on in some of my later vids, it’ll mean less work for me
+2anyways.
@Chancey21
True, I did struggle to find decent shots I liked (have nearly 10mins of unused footage) towards the end, but it would’ve meant editing the length of the music or finding a shorter piece. @Chancey21
+2Simply could not live without this mod anymore, brilliant stuff!

+2The pictures aren’t showing up
+2I second that, much easy to hold it down than to adjust the increment or click 50x
+2@Darjeelings183
You can install mods on a Mac without it being on steam you know. You just need to go
+2Good to see you’re still alive XD
+2@Johndfg
Looks absolutely amazing, you two should be very proud of your creation!
+2Upload limit is 3 public posts per 24hrs. It’s main purpose is to prevent spam
+2It makes for a very nice disco ball too

Yeah, I tried to keep the parts down, but there were so many things I wanted to add. Don't worry, there's a version with 600 parts. @ProcessedPlAnEs
+2Decals and “Erazor’s” wouldn’t work in SP, just through the physics engine alone.

Watched the trailer for the Su-33 on DCS, pretty cool
+2@Freerider2142
Maybe you could use it to find what your searching for????
+2@VertigoVortex
This plane was so good, it was featured twice.
+2This sounds pretty neat! I love your recoil guns by the way, and appreciate you letting me use them on my Fletcher!
+2I’m big fan of all your works, you never cease to amaze me. Keep it up!
+2I used to build cockpits first, but then things kept breaking as I was building around it, so I build them last now. Much more flush too.

@SeanTurbineModifier
+2Our builds are quite similar wouldn’t you say XD
Wow, very cool stuff!

Thanks for the kind words, there’s lots of stuff here so feel free to unpack and use any of it. @Sergio666

+1Yea I’ll try and get an AI and a mobile version out sometime this week or next week

Nah, I won’t do any of that, anyone will be able to use it, it was never my work originally anyways
