    THE PROJECTILE RANGE ON LARGER CALIBER (maybe even smaller) CAN BE DOUBLE OF WHAT IT SHOULD BE IN REAL LIFE

    Solution: ADD attributes projectileMass and projectileDrag

    We need this soon for accurate to real life projectile ranges and accurate artillery

    Well cause I’m trying to make a replica and you know people are gonna be asking why’s the velocity messed up. But anyways it should be fixed by the devs I might put in a bug report for it @Minecraftpoweer

    That’s what I’m using, but there is no way to edit projectile mass and drag. I think that’s the problem. Trust me Ive done thorough testing of this, somethings wrong@Minecraftpoweer

    Well so mass apparently doesn’t have a bearing on the projectile range which I find weird but it’s true. So drag must be wrong because I know my measurements aren’t exact but if I start at Wright airport and fire off a round at 45 deg it’ll go triple to quadruple the distance from you to the USS Beast which is 9 mi.@Minecraftpoweer

    So the way you can tell is if you take the cannon part right, and if you try to scale it and it’s not right the diameter/caliber it’s actually half of what it should be. Say the cannon is 17.3 feet and 240mm caliber right (I did this on my newest build). And so the way I scale things is I take a fuselage block and make it 17.3 feet long. I then take the cannon make it 17.3 feet long. But whenever I import an image and scale it the same way, the cannon length matches but the width does not. @Minecraftpoweer Also, range calc is definitely off my 240mm cannon with 45 degrees elevation and 700m/s should only go 14.3 mi it ends up going 50mi

    Cannon scaling is definitely off I’ve noticed this and I think EternalDarkness has as well. What about you @Minecraftpoweer I’ve also noticed that the range calculations are way off

    @EternalDarkness so its impactDamage? or does it not have an attribute? BtW do you notice something wrong with the range calculations? I'm currently trying to build a 240mm m1 artillery gun but 700m/s which is its sats should only shoot a maximum of 14.3 mi it currently shooting like 50. I keep doing range calculations and it says 30mi but the specs say its max range was 14mi

    @AndrewGarrison @WNP8 hey so is there a shell weight attribute cause if we want to do artillery we are gonna have to have that. Also I think the tank cannon part's caliber scale is messed up idk why but it seems its always not wide as it should be

    question(s) about the beta what does "launchVolume" mean, is there an APCR ammo type, and are there proximity explosions on the cannon and if there is not a proximity attribute can yall import that from the missiles so that we can have completely working Flak guns?

    @WNP78 the tank gun also needs to have barrel length in ft/m and the velocity needs to be in F/S instead of MPH

    @WNP78 btw yall should try to put tracks 2 into the 1.9 that would help out a ton of mobile users, also will you put customizable inputs for the tank cannon since some of us want the input to be be fire guns, and is there a projectile type for APCR shells on the cannon?

    @WNP78 whoops I meant no the Arcsin is different than the csc, the Arccos is different than the sec and so on. Arcsin is Sin^-1 csc is 1/sin
